this review is for aloe life skin gel. i made the mistake of trying to extract 2 blackheads myself and ended up scraping and scratching up my face. i was devastated because i thought i had possibly scarred my face for life. i was also kicking myself because i knew better. at any rate- i asked a few different pharmacists what i should use on the areas and they all said neosporin. i have very sensitive skin and didnt feel comfortable applying neosporin to my face. after doing some research online i opted to try aloe vera gel. aloe life has a gel that is very close to the real plant. no water added. i used this stuff and in 2 days the abrasion on my face was completely gone!! i was amazed! my face looks better than it did before. blackheads completely gone, scabs gone, no scarring. this is great stuff!!!

Perfect for mild acne!!
It works brilliantly on mild acne and even though it takes longer time than otc products to clear acne, but the redness disappears and controls my breakouts. I have also noticed my scars get lighter and i definitely recommend using aloe vera on your skin. IT WORKS!!

Pros:

Used at night after washing my face for about 2 weeks, and I started clearing up within the first week

Cons:

THe little thorns can poke you when you pick up a leaf but thats pretty much it.

It works better than all those fancy 50 dallor chemicals.

THIS IS AMAZING
I was having a horrible really really bad breakout and I got home and put aloe Vera on it, then later I got out of the shower and I put it one after I got out of the shower. I WORKED AMAZING MY SKIN IS ALMOST TOTALLY CLEAR RIGHT NOW I RECCOMEND THIS TO YOU

Pros:

more effective than over-the-counter products. Doesn't over dry skin which is great.

Cons:

i don't like the smell but i can manage.

Pros:

We grow this in the backyard, so it is readily available (not to mention entirely natural). Also, it SIGNIFICANTLY reduces redness caused by acne medications.

Cons:

The goo gets everywhere.

I only use this when I've used a treatment that causes horrible redness and scarring. Really does work in reversing the effect. Wouldn't recommend using it for too long since for starters I would have aloe stumps instead of plants and it gets annoying having to cut up the leaf and getting the goo on your face.

Pros:

Aubrey's Organics.It's 100% organic liquid aloe vera with natural preservatives (citrus seed and vitamin E). No parabens or chemicals.

Cons:

May be hard to find and can be expensive. It comes in a bottle without a pump so it can be difficult to dispense.

Aubrey's pure aloe vera is a non-greasy product that hydrates skin and can be worn under a moisturizer and/or make-up. It's organic which is an extra bonus and doesn't sting or cause any rash on my skin. Almost all of the gel-based aloe vera reviews list eye irritation as a 'con' but this product is 100% irritant-free!! It's liquid so it soaks right into your skin - there's no waiting for it to dry. So, to help control acne, fade red marks, and condition skin you should definitely try this product!
