Pros:

If you scratched a pimple, put this on! It won't leave a huge scar after. Good for scars in general. Good for calming your skin as well.

Cons:

Takes a long time to see the effects.
Doesn't stop pimples from forming.

Use it for your scars mainly. You won't see results right off the bat, but if you continue to use it, results will come. I started using it maybe 2 months ago and I'm starting to see my scars SLOWLY fading. This is no miracle product for your acne or scars, but its good for the health of your skin regardless. Just take a leaf off the plant and apply the gel to your whole face!

Pros:

it makes my skin super smoooth, when i wake up in the morning my face is glowing, it lightens the uneven skin tones on my face

Cons:

after a while when i put it on it starts to dry out my face BADLY.

i dont know why it dries out my face i've read a whole lot of reviews and none of them said anything about your face becoming dry[it feels like i have a clay mask on]. keep in mind that i use the actual aloe plant that grows in my backyard. if anyone reads this pleaseee help me because i want to know if i am doing something wrong or if this is normal??? but other than that i LOVE using aloe!!!

Pros:

Dried up my oily skin, helped to heal the 'popped' zits & minimize the cysts

Cons:

didn't prevent me from getting new pimples

A great way to keep your skin from getting oily. I use it as a mattifier. I have several of the plants in my yard that I pick off off, so the price is nothing!

Pros:

I grow it in my yard, so it's free. It works wonderfully in the summer when your face is very dry.

Cons:

Didn't touch my acne but I think it may have minimized my scarring.

Try it, it won't hurt!

Pros:

-cheap
-helps reduce swelling on existing pimples
-helps reduce redness
-not drying
-seems to aid healing

Cons:

-Doesn't seem to help with prevention
-helpful but not enough by itself for me

This is a good option to use in combination with others. I definitely notice a difference when I am using it.

Pros:

Calms redness, smoothes skin, fades marks, prevents new spots from getting out of hand.

Cons:

Takes some patience before you see real results. Sometimes stings a bit when first applied, and can cause temporary redness, but these soon fade.

I've been using this gel every night (leave on until morning) for a couple of months now. Straight off it made my skin feel healthier and smoother. But now I'm also seeing results with my redness and scarring. Also, while it's not miracle spot prevention, it certainly stops them getting so inflamed, and helps get rid of them quicker. I use organic gel from a health shop. Make sure you get a very high concentration gel, because sometimes they dilute it with other stuff that's not so good for your face (I've got 99% gel).

Pros:

Aloe grows quickly and is hassle-free
I think it's a pretty plant to have
It's extremely natural

Cons:

Takes some time and planning

When I met my would-be husband, he had an aloe plant that he got on the free table in the basement of his apartment. He never watered it. It just sat there and looked pretty. And when I started watering it, it would grow 2-4 new "shoots" overnight, and they would be full length very quickly. It's great because it's a hassle-free plant with a variety of uses. Whether you water it or not it will stay alive. It helps with scars but you must be very very particular about how much you apply - too much and it will clog your pores all up. Use it topically.

Pros:

Really helped during Dan's Regimen. Soothed and cleared up flakiness very quickly.

Cons:

None so far.

I had used benzoyl peroxide before, but when I started the Regimen, I had dry, flaky skin. I was surprised, because I have very tough skin. So after a month of dry skin, I put Sea & Ski's All Natural Aloe Vera. It immediately soothed and controlled my flakiness.
