Pros:

Cheap, doesn't smell, easily accessible

Cons:

I cant realy wear it out of the house.
It can be very drying and sting a little for the first few minutes. I usually just fan it to dry faster.

I was using Aloe Vera Gel for about 3 or 4 months consistently, and had no breakouts, and for some reason I stopped for about a month and then I started breaking out prettly badly! I couldn't figure out how I went from clear great skin to breakouts all over my lower face. Well, I remembered how great Aloe Vera gel worked and I'm back on it. It's only been a day and I can tell the difference already! I have both the plant and gel, they both work consistently well. I also layer it on really thick! This site is awesome, best acne site I've come across! Thanks Dan!

Pros:

It's a great moisturizer

Cons:

...

It helps my acne a little but even if it doesn't help your acne, it's a great moisturizer. It makes my skin so soft and smooth/

Pros:

works well as a toner. rinse off after two minutes with a thick coating. leaves skin toned yet not too dry. appply moisturizer after. calms skin after use of harsh chemicals. i.e. slacilic acid, malic acid, mandelic acid etc.

Cons:

kind of tingly, stingy if left on too long. is not 100% natural, i will be using pure organic aloe in the same way. this product has more than just aloe and i think that is where the stinging comes from.

aloe, overall, is my best skin discovery as a toner. i also use it as a hair gel but n=must apply it thickly and only use it to slick m hair into a ponytail. i have 4a hair, very thick. although i enjoyed discovering aloe as a toner for my face with this product, i would prefer a 100% pure, natural organic product. this helps keep pores tight and smooth and keeps acne at bay regardless of which brand you use. i like Lily Of The Desert a little better though but i just buy organic aloe wholesale now.

Pros:

Heals skin. Doesnt make me breakout. Acutally helps keep acne down. Perfect for those on Tane. Fades scars. Evens skin tone, makes skin soft and smooth. I LOVE ALOE VERA. Truly a plant from the gods.

Cons:

Hard to find plain old aloe vera jell. Some of the stuff in stores may decevie you becuase they have many other ingrediants in them. Always use pure aloe vera jelly.

Once I ran out of Fruit of the Earth (which i ordered online from drugstore), I couldnt find it in stores so I got Lily of the Desert Aloe Vera. AND IT IS SO MUCH BETTER. Much more natural. I am no longer worried about the perservatives in Fruit of the Earth. I am on Tane, and this stuff is a miracle gel. I swear to god. It has helped heal my skin, fade scars faster, heal wounds faster, make my skin eventoned and soft. I use with cetaphil, becuase I need more moisture. JUST GET IT NOW!

Pros:

absorbs fast, perfect base for makeup, erases scars, seems like my face is not as oily

Cons:

skin is a little tight at first but with my oily skin it soon feels normal. Don't use too much, you only need a little

I've only used this product for a wk and it is amazing. The scars look like they are filling in and the redness is fading fast. Usually at this time of the month I break out horribly , But I only have 1 pimple this time and it is very small. My skin is looking and feeling smoother every day. Thanks to whoever figured this out because it works!

Pros:

There are so many pros to this product I don't even know where to begin. I got so many comments on how good my skin improved in just three days. My hair too! It's an awesome hair gel. You can use it for just about everything!

Cons:

The bottle is a little bit misleading. The product contains some other ingredients that are not labeled. Although, these ingredients I believe contribute to the positive effect of this gel.

You should buy it. At $5.00 a bottle you can't go wrong. Don't be afraid of the other ingredients that are added, they are beneficial. All the people making a big hype have nothing better to do. You HAVE put worse things on your skin before AND there are worse chemicals in the air and water.

Pros:

This product is practically odorless and fragrance free...added fragrances are not good for problem skin. It is cheap, and y husband and I immediately noticed results when we began using it. Seriously. Do it!

Cons:

I don't know that I would label it a con, but I find it to be quite beneficial when I use the aloe vera after cleansing face and body and then applying a non-comedogenic, fragrance free, oil free moisturizer to my face and body. This helps w/ drying.

Try it out for acne, razor rash [especially the bikini area] and other annoying skin ailments. My husband [who rarely has acne] got a badly inflamed pimple and I also had one that was inflamed for about 3 weeks. I tried MANY things to get rid of the pimple and help with the scarring; we both used some of this product and within about 2 days [after applying twice daily after cleansing the area]we were shocked. Seriously...I know I sound like a commercial but I have tried a PLETHORA of acne products and this one aids in healing. Try it!

Pros:

I actually like the "tightening" sensation, because I have large pores which are the cause of my acne. It's insanely cheap, it's natural, and its one of the only products that both helps existing acne and fades scars. It's a miracle!

Cons:

I saw someone else put this as well... it stings my eyes a bit, I'm not sure why, I don't put it anywhere near my eyes.

A wonderful alternative to harsh chemicals such as BP and SA.

Pros:

cheap, effective way to heal acne and fade acne scars

Cons:

leaves a temporary tight feeling once applied

Don't spend a lot of money on acne treatments until you give pure aloe vera gel a try! Not only has it improved my acne, but it has also has diminished my pores and has left my face with a healthy glow.
