Pros:

Helps cystic acne
Keeps things under control
Reduces redness
Good Moisturizer

Cons:

Can be very irritating at first
Not a cure all
Leaves skin oily

This product is part of my daily regimen. I tried Dan's regimne for a couple months but my skin continually was very red and extremely flaky. I couldn't stand it any longer. Now I am using the following routine and have found a lot of success (visibly clear, but not perfect) and reduced andy irritation. Morning- Cleanse Face, Moisturize Night- Cleanse Face, BP, AHA+ Bottom line, I feel in control of my face. It is not perfect but I do not wake up worried about having pimples. And my cystic acne is nonexistent thanks to AHA. Great product, for a great price. Lasts a loong time, even using a generous amount daily. Thanks for this product!

Pros:

- got rid of extremely dry skin
- helps prevent new acne from forming
- helped to get rid of red marks/to heal scars
- relatively inexpensive
- improves overall texture of skin

Cons:

- can sting a TINY bit

When I started using the benzoyl peroxide on my face, it cleared my skin but made it EXTREMELY dry and flaky. Nothing could help the moisture of my skin, not even adding jojoba oil to my moisturizer. I contacted acne.org for advice on how to help my dry, flaky skin and red marks and they suggested this product. It truly works to help heal scars and red marks and to fix dry skin. The only con I can think of is that sometimes if I don't' wait long enough after washing my face to apply this lotion, it stings a tiny bit.Now that the regimen cleared my skin, I use benzoyl peroxide more as a spot treatment and AHA as a nightly moisturizer. Makes my skin very smooth. I know that Daniel Kern says that this product can be used as a spot treatment, but I don't' really find that it works very well for spot treatment.

It hurts my face for five minutes after applying the cream.

Everyone should give it a try!

Pros:

Wonderful results!! I've only been using for 2 weeks, and already, old scars are fading, my skin tone is much more even, and I feel like I am glowing!

Cons:

It tends to bead up when it dries.

I've been on the Regimen for 3 years with good success, but my skin had never been perfect until now. I'm also using the AHA on my chest and back where I have occasional breakouts, and it is working well there, too. I also have bumps on the backs of my upper arms, and have been using the AHA after showering for this. Bumps are decreased, and I expect will disappear over time. I will definitely continue to use the AHA.

Pros:

-Fades Hyperpigmentation ( Red Marks)
-No Initial Breakout
-Applies On Easy

Cons:

-None, really.
-Except for the fact you have to wear sunscreen

I wanted a month to have elapsed since trying to give it a fair review. First, it does fade red marks, albeit at a slow pace. Based on my gradual results, you have to give it at least 2 months for significant results. Start off using it a 2-3 times a week, then gradually amp it up to every other day, then 2 days on, 1 day off, etc. The only burning sensation I felt was when I placed it above my lip, it was only temporary, though. Make sure you wear sunscreen when you go out though. You should wear sunscreen anyways, as it can force red marks to last longer. Remember, don't expect immediate results like some of the reviews have shown here. Generally, you want to give it any product a minimum of a month before concluding whether or not it works or not.

Pros:

Significantly reduces inflammation and improves skin's appearance. High quality, easily applied. No need for moisturizer after using it. Sleek packaging, no annoying smell. Very effective, highly recommended.

Cons:

Depending on skin's sensitivity, brief stinging sensation may occur upon initial applications. Sensation subsides almost immediately afterwards. Stinging can also occur if applied soon after shaving; jojoba oil as pre-shave prep can minimize this.

Get this product!!! The AHA+ worked wonders for my skin! This product can dramatically improve the condition of one's skin and is equally effective for face and body acne. I can't say enough positive things about this product - just buy it!!

Definitely add to your Regimen
Glycolic Acid is like magic. I suffer of cystic acne and my skin is very sensitive, I started using BP-2.5% and my skin went totally dry and flaky during the first month, however this improved by week 6 and then I gave the chance to AHA+ in my Regimen and that was when the magic really happened. I recommend to go easy on it and use it as per video and only 3 times a week the most to begin with, then just weekly :) ... skin clears up very nicely.

Definitely works but burns skin and corrodes plastic (it will ruin your glasses.)
First of all, I use about 1/4 to 1/2 the recommended amount. I think they recommend you use a lot so you have to buy more. A little goes a long way, especially when mixed with moisturizer. I was having okay results with the Regimen and got the glycolic acid to try to kick it up a notch. It definitely worked! I get less acne than before and the acne I do get heals faster. It doesn't seem to help wit hyperpigmentation though. The reason I can't give this 5/5 is because there was no warning that it's corrosive to plastic. DO NOT wear your glasses until this stuff is *completely* absorbed into your skin. My black frames now have disgusting white and yellow bubbles all over the parts that touch my face. Frames are expensive and are meant to last years, now I can't even wear mine to work. Also, it is turning my eyebrows blonde at the tips, it looks weird but I don't care because my acne is better.

Very nice product!

Pros:

Goes on smooth
Inexpensive
Fades Hyperpigmentaion

Cons:

I wish it's wasn't as runny as it is.

I read tons of reviews and posts on this site about Dans Aha and how much everyone likes it. Even though I am not on DKR I decided that I was going to try the Aha anyways. If the product was so great I needed to have it too. I ordered it and I love it. It goes on very smoothly and makes you skin feel and appear very soft and smooth. I even started to notice a bit of lighting of my Hyperpigmentaion in the first week. Smells like banana candy alittle bit which doesn't bother me at all. I recommend this if you want to bring your skin up a notch.

Pros:

Clears acne
Moisturizes skin
Evens skin tone/texture

Cons:

None!

I love this stuff! It has honestly been a miracle product for my skin. Im 26 and never had a problem with acne until several years ago. I've tried products with salicylic acid, benzyl peroxide, and sulfer, and none of them have done much good. I purchased the AHA lotion hoping it would even out some of the scars that I've been getting due to my acne outbreaks, but it has actually done more than that. It's cured my acne! At night I wash my face with a gentle clenser and use the AHA lotion (every night as it does not irritate my skin at all). In the mornig I use a gentle cleanser again and use cetaphil's oil control SPF 30 moisturizer. I've only used this product for about a month and my skin hasn't looked this good in at least 3 years! Thanks Dan!
