Pros:

Smooths skin tone, evens complexion

Cons:

Balls up sometimes (maybe I'm using too much), makes you more prone to sunburn, leaves yellow marks on clothes

I tried using this instead of BP + moisturizer in the morning, and I stayed clear for about a month. Then I suddenly broke out very badly. Using BP + AHA in the morning and at night, my skin is clearing up very fast, and it's almost perfect now.

Pros:

Fades red marks, helps to clear acne fast, good as a spot treatment alternative to BP spot treatments

Cons:

Slight tingling/burning sensation

Awesome product, I found it worked better when I only used a tiny bit, and rubbed it in until it was fully dried. When I used too much, it wouldn't fully absorb into my face, and wasn't as effective as when I only used a small pea sized amount.

Pros:

Easy to spread on, smooths the skin.

Cons:

Sometimes tends to bead up at the edges of the face.

It worked exactly how he said it would. My acne cleared up after using his regimen but after using the AHA, the texture of my skin was improved. My face has never felt this smooth before. I use it as a moisturizer at night after I apply the bp treatment.

Pros:

Good value for money if it works for you.

Cons:

Stings on applications. Broke me out.

I had been using Dan Kern's BP treatment for a few months with great success and my acne virtually cleared until I started using the AHA. It broke me out instantly, I kept using it hoping it was just an initial reaction that would clear once I got use to it, but after a month of continuous breakouts I had to get rid of it.

Pros:

shrinks pores, evens skin tone (even for those of us who are of African descent)

Cons:

initial smell, packaging is terrible - but eh, this shouldn't deter anyone from buying the product

This product has reduced the size of my pores significantly and evened out my skin tone without any burning or stinging. I was a bit apprehensive about using this product because of the reviews claiming that the product clumps up, but this hasn't happened to me once. For those of us ethnic folk (I'm Chinese Jamaican) who get dark spots with even the smallest pimples, this is definitely worth trying. All my dark spots are almost completely gone! Go Dan and AHA+!

Pros:

Skin is BEAUTIFUL! Keeps pimples away and reduces redness. My skin looks incredible! My skin has cleared up dramatically in the past6 months (on the regimne) and this is the icing on the cake for me.

Cons:

Balls up after its dried but I can't tell if it my skin or the product...no biggie though!

This product is phenominal! You have to try it!

Pros:

Cleared my skin, yay! Made it soft and smooth, got rid of clogged pores. A little goes a long way.

Cons:

Stings a bit sometimes but nothing too bad. Have to avoid the sun, but one should do that anyway.

I love this product. I use it as suggested in the book "The Acne Cure". In the morning I wash my face in the shower and apply a little bit of the lotion to my wet skin. I leave it on while I shower and wash it off with just water before I get out. I use Avene Clean-Ac Moisturizer mixed with a few drops of water. In the evening I wash my face and dry it. I put a little of the lotion in my hand and add a few drops of water and massage it on my face. I leave it on for 5 mins to an hour depending on how much time I have and then I wash it off with water. After my skin is dry I apply Dan's BP Treatment which I also love. My skin is almost perfect, only left-over red marks are there and a few clogged pores which come out easily. It has also worked great on my back and on clogged pores on my chest and arms.

Pros:

Great exfoliating. Pleasant scent. Easy transition from Neutrogena Healthy Skin Face Lotion (NHSFL), and has a higher concentration of AHA than NHSFL. Economical. I wake up with dewy, smooth skin. Packaging makes it easy to dispense.

Cons:

Texture a little thick, which can make it a bit hard to spread around. It also tends to ball up a bit.

I'm a fan. If it were a slightly thinner texture and didn't ball up, I'd be a huge fan.

Pros:

Evens out my skin tone and fades some new scars (for old scars, not much improvements). Reduces some black and white heads on my cheeks and nose. Controls some flaking issues as well.

Cons:

High shipping cost. Stings a little upon application. Packaging is not so good quality. Some parts of the plastic was split open by the time I received it. But I scotch tape it back anyway. Not a big problem though as the content did not leak.

I've been using it for 2 weeks and I breaks out a little initially. I think the skin needs some time to get use to it. The fragrance might be overpowering initially but after using for a while, it's actually smells nice. :)

Pros:

Reduced acne, smoothed my skin, evened complexion.

Cons:

Makes my face shiny and clumps sometimes

I didn't like it at first because it would clump up and make my really shiny, but I figured out I had been using too much of it. a little goes a long way on your face. i use it after my morning shower, and then spf on top of it. It works very well if your skin is not too sensitive. i did have a pretty bad initial breakout, but i gave it a chance and it is now a staple in my regimen. i tried hundreds of products and i am glad to say i have found a regimen that keeps me 99% clear!
