For the weeks ive been using as nightly moisturizer, it has made my skin considerably smoother, and a better overall tone.

Pros:

Cheap (as with all the acne.org products). Doesn't smell. Large quantity. Smooths out skin, lightens up and smooths scars, keeps new pimples from forming. I haven't gotten a real pimple since I started using this 2 weeks ago.

Cons:

It's a little but runny, but not too bad. And yes, it does sting a bit. but it isn't painful or even really uncomfortable. Just enough that you notice. Makes my skin a little red for an hour or two after I first apply it.

Great stuff. I know the regimen say to stay with just the BP treatment until you're completely clear, but I used the BP alone for about 6 months and I was still getting periodic mini-outbreaks. But when I start using this stuff at night that stopped. So, I would really recommend using this stuff. It seems to actually stop pimples from forming, instead of simply healing pimples that already are there. And sorry for my poor English :p

Pros:

Makes my skin smooth, a better overall tone, heals up popped pimples fast, gets rid of old marks/scars

Cons:

It has a slight mustard smell, and I especially don't like mustard

This is a prett good product. I've been using it for about 2 weeks now, but at first, it made me broke out a little (i guess it's from all the exfoliation that AHA causes) but after the first week or 10 days, my face is starting to clear up and my old pimples are healing much more faster than it used to. I'm using it twice a day but i think that might be a little too much, but it seems to work. I'll write another review a few weeks later just to let u know how consistent it will be.

Pros:

If you are reading this as a 30 something adult acne sufferer, buy this now! None of the soreness of bp, just fantastic skin!

Cons:

Doesn't completely blitz acne, but leaves very few blemishes that can be easily treated.

If you are 30 something then I simply cannot recommend this enough. I tried the bp based regimen and had an awful time with it, burning, itching, redness and terrible skin tone that never improved. However I also bought the aha at the same time and this was the best purchase I think I've ever made for my skin. I still get the very occasional blemish, but it's easily treated with BeneFit's boo boo zap. I know Dan's quest is more completely clear skin and the bp does do it, no spots but for me terrible skin in a completely different way (very similar to when I tried clinique's 3 step, what a disaster!) But aha delivers fabulous feeling skin and prevents alsmost all breakouts. I recommend dermalogica products to complement this, Dan's cleanser and moisturiser are actually OK but I prefer the texture and results from Dermalogica. However, I would not hesitate to recommend his aha lotion. Superb!

Pros:

Incredible smoothing and clearing effects, inexpensive for quality/volume

Cons:

Balls up if you apply too much and too soon after BP, don't love the smell, but it doesn't linger, initial use causes a little purging

I've been using the regimen for over 5 years now and was excited to try this product. I've been using it for over two months and love it -- my facialist and friends all wonder what I'm doing differently, and I'm stoked to tell them about this product. I use it at night, after cleansing and BP, in lieu of or mixed with nighttime moisturizer. I've found the best way to minimize balling is to really allow the BP to sink in as much as you can before application. My skin is smoother and clearer than it's been in a long time, and my old acne marks have faded considerably. I'm pretty fair and I do think it makes me more sun sensitive (given the number of freckles I've acquired recently), so please remember to wear sunscreen and not overdo your exposure while actively using this product. Also, if you find your skin purging after your first few uses, I'd encourage you to stick with it for a little bit -- my skin did the same thing and I still love this stuff.

Pros:

Fades red marks faster, good spot treatment and very good value for money. My skin is so smooth.

Cons:

Stings a bit.

Great product to use especially with Dan's regimen which really cured my moderate acne. I am almost clear now after 18 weeks of continuous treatment. Thanks Dan.

Pros:

Smooths and soothes skin

Cons:

Tingles and itches if applied right after BP. Wait a bit.

Improved the texture of my skin greatly- it was smooth for the first time since my acne appeared 7 years ago.

Pros:

Smooth + soft skin, gets rid of flakes from BP, super exfoiliant, great for fine lines on forehead, reduces spots

Cons:

can ball up a little, can give face looking like it's got a shiny film on it - so would only use it extremely sparingly in dayime i.e.on any potential flaky patches

I use the AHA after application of Dans BP. I love it because it has eradicated the problem of flakes I was getting from BP usuage. Any post pimple brown marks have reduced dramatically to the point I can now go foundation free, skin looks even toned and "glows". It really has been the icing on the cake after success with Dans BP. I use pea sized gloops all over then glide it in before bed and after BP. Bottle has loads - brilliant value - you must try!!

Pros:

Makes my skin look amazing, goes on smoothly, absorbs quickly

Cons:

Can't use in the morning

I've been using this product for about two weeks, and I LOVE it. Previously, I had used Neutrogena's Healthy Skin lotion, which I liked, but I never had as good of a result as I do with Dan's AHA. It smoothed out my skin, reduced some red marks along the sides of my face, and it even seems to reduce my current acne. The smell is a bit strong, but I don't find it unpleasant. And since I only use a few dabs at night, and the bottle is huge, it'll probably last a long time. I def recommend this!

Pros:

Within days of trying this product, I fell in love with it and will probably buy it again. I use it as a moisturizer, too. It is very gentle, makes complexion feel smoother within days, moisturizes, exfoliates, fragrance-free yet smells nice.

Cons:

I cant think of any. If you are looking for a strong peel, go to a professional skin care salon. But if you are looking for a gentle AHA peel, this is probably the best stuff out there.

This stuff is addicting! I'll definitely be buying it again. It didn't burn my skin (well, it tingled when I applied it after exfoliating =P). If you are trying to save money, this product doubles as a moisturizer!
