Pros:

I have non-inflamed acne, and I have tried EVERY product out there from creams to cleansers and everything else. I'm 22, and this product is the only thing that has been able to get my skin clear. It also has a good consistency and goes on really smooth.

Cons:

none!

This AHA is basically my savior after years of hoping my skin would clear up. THANK YOU acne.org!

Pros:

Works so well!!! I have NEVER used anything that works so great! I hane NO MORE CYSTIC ACNE!! :) I am elated!! Doesn't dry out my skin. Easy to incorporate into my routine. Kills pimples quickly without drying skin.

Cons:

Other than having to order more tubes because I used all of it, Zero cons.

This is honestly the most effective skin product I've ever used. I've spent $100's if not $1000's on Rx's and over the counter solutions for my moderate-severe acne, and nothing has shown any lasting help except this product! It's unbelievable! I am a 25 y.o. lady who had pretty severe hormonal acne all around my jaw and chin. It was so gross. It was cystic, huge and scaring! I have hated my skin over the last few years because of having acne. BC's only made it worse too. My routine consists of the following steps: -Scrub wet face with St. Ive's blemish control apricot scrub -Wash with sensitive skin, fragrance-free Cetafil -Smooth Acne.org's 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide all over face in thin layer -After that dries a bit, I rub AHA+ over the trouble spots. When that dries more, -Smooth Acne.org moisturizer (with a couple drips of Jojoba oil in it) over face. Usually I end it with 65spf sunscreen. My skin has continually been good! No issues at all. You should really just try this stuff. It's amazing.

Pros:

Makes skin look gorgeous!
Reduces the size of pores, corrects pigmentation problems, gets rid of blackheads, and ensures painful zits never emerge.

Cons:

Bad initial breakout.

After battling adult hormonal acne for almost ten years, I think I have found something that actually works on a consistent basis. This product is seriously the REAL DEAL. Not only does it moisturize, but it clears your skin. I didn't think there was a product on the market that could do that! I am IN LOVE with this. I do want to emphasize that because this product is not harsh at all, it takes a really long time for your pores to purge completely. That being said, your skin will appear to get worse, and stay bad for a few weeks before you really begin to see improvement. Also, if you are a compulsive skin picker like I am, I advice you to really make an effort not to pick while using this product. The AHA is continuously removing the top layer to your skin, so picking at acne underneath the skin is going to increase your chance of spreading bacteria to surrounding areas of your face. Good luck :)

Pros:

-Dramatically reduces size and redness of inflamed spots, over night!
-Smooths skin (both reducing acne bumps and exfoliating flaky skin)
-Rapidly speeds up the fading of old red marks left behind after acne.
-Gives skin a certain healthy looking glow even once dried.
-Reduces fine lines and wrinkles (I swear!)
-Fantastic value for money :)

Cons:

-Can sting a bit when first applied to skin, especially when you first start using it.
-Can make skin temporarily a little red (though within 10-20 mins your skin looks normal again).

Buy it, use it, love it. I use it all over my face as a moisturizer every night (after BP), and as a spot treatment (if needed) during the day (again, after BP), and my skin's never looked and felt so good. Combined with the regimen it works fantastically :) I don't ever want to be without it now!

Pros:

Fragrance/dye free, non-comedogenic, easy applicable, smooths skin, reduces hyperpigmentation, reduces flakiness, excellent exfoliant, moderate moisturization, large volume

Cons:

No travel size yet

As a kid I spent a LOT of time out in the sun and worked as a lifeguard throughout high school and college. As a result, my skin built up some extreme durability to the elements but with one major problem: my skin has trouble shedding dead skin cells and, as a result, ends up clogging my own pores (only whiteheads, no blackheads). My oil production also went way up to protect my skin and this contributes to not being able to naturally shed dead skin cells. I've tried manual exfoliants in the past (Burt's Bees Citrus Scrub) which worked with moderate success, but it ended up being too abrasive for my skin and cause inflammation if done too frequently. I have had far better results with improving skin tone and texture by using AHA+; it is less abrasive on my skin but exfoliates more efficiently. I'm not able to use most moisturizers or sunscreen anymore because my skin isn't very good at shedding its layers, so I use this AHA+ in place of a moisturizer day and night in combination with benzoyl peroxide. Since getting off of Proactive this has been the only combination to help my skin so far. I essentially looked at the major factors/ingredients of Proactive and how it helped my skin (exfoliation with glycolic acid from their toner and bacteria/oil control with benzoyl peroxide from their repairing lotion) and duplicated that in a much easier and cheaper routine. I use Burt's Bee's Orange Citrus Cleanser (which is actually made up of olive and citrus oils), and I have NOT broken out but rather this specific cleanser helps moisturize my skin (thus no need for an extra moisturizer other than AHA+). I do not necessarily recommend using AHA+ everyday or in place of a moisturizer, but for my particular condition this application works. Once my skin has been rebalanced I hope to reduce application while also regulating exposure to the elements (sun, wind, pollution, etc) for long-term prevention.

Pros:

Solved my exfoliation problem.
Cheap!!! Thanks Dan!
Vastly reduced whiteheads and blackheads.

Cons:

-I don't wear it during the day because it can rub off and "ball up" on your skin.
-I like to be outside and I'm concerned about burning during the day.
-It keeps my pores unclogged that I'd say my skin is actually a little oilier during the day because the pores are flowing, rather than getting plugged up and turning into whiteheads. I'll deal with it.

This product helped take my skin to the next level. Not completely acne free, but on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being clear skin, this helped take me from 6-7 to 8-9. I have been using various forms of the benzyol peroxide regimen from this website for a while, starting with ProActiv. While the BP regimen helped, I still had an issue with oily skin, and what I thought was an exfoliation issue that kept me from getting my skin clearer. I'm confident that was the issue after trying this product, because this product helped solve my exfoliation problems, and now my skin is much clearer. Whiteheads almost eliminated and overall skin tone is much better.

Pros:

Everything

Cons:

Having Patience

This product is indeed a GOD SENT. I have tried from low to high end products and nothing has worked like this for me. I had acne and allergic reactions that made a mess on my face. This gradually but surely is reverting all the damage. This product unlike other AHAs has not made my skin super dry and irritated. I wear this only once at night and the following day, my skin looks and feel amazing. I am not wearing any foundations, which is a huge step for me because I was a foundation junkie and I had to over all of my flaws. Do not give up on this product if it takes time. The most important thing is that it is effective. Highly recommended!

Pros:

Clears acne
moisturizing
Great exfoliation

Cons:

sticky when on skin
smell
Balls up

This stuff has really been helping my skin lately. I cannot use the BP regimen, because I cannot stand the flakyness and dry skin, even with Jojoba oil. So I have been on a search for something else to help clear my skin. My skin has only been truly bad since I went of Yasmin birthcontol, and it has only been 3 months since I did, so my hormones are still adjusting, but my skin broke out terrible. This stuff has really helped with the acne and the red-marks. Currently I am taking 1000mg cephalixin 2 times daily, wash with a mild cleanser, use Hydrogen peroxide on problem areas. During the day I use thayers witch hazel with lavender, and at night I use this AHA lotion. Seems to be working really well. The only reason I havent given 5 stars is because it is impossible to wear under makeup or during the day because it is heavy on skin, leaves a sticky residue, and balls up when rubbed. Other than that, it works really well.

Pros:

very effective, smoothes out skin, speeds up renewal of skin, and dries quite well

Cons:

does tend to sting a little especially on the first application, but not that big of a deal.
does ball up if you keep on rubbing at it, so you have to leave it alone after you feel like the application stage is finished

does what dan says it does, and remember not to use it on a pimple that's coming out, because it will turn into a huge whitehead sometimes which is something someone might not want on the day of prom, but it does increase the speed at which the skin repairs itself. its smell also reminds me vaguely of a jar of dijon mustard i had. maybe it's just the color that's bringing some associations and the smell to my head, but i swear it smells faintly like mustard (not necessarily a bad thing, i like dijon)

Pros:

- Dramatically reduces flaking caused by BP
- I apply a thin layer every night to my entire face, and in the morning it is softer with reduces blemishes and less flaking after I apply BP and foundation!
- No stinging, irritation or redness for me (I have not been in the sun - cold Canadian winter still!)
- No offensive smell
- Did not breakout me out
- My skin generally just looks better after one week. I am actually thinking of wearing NO foundation today (a big step for me... ma

Cons:

- May be too shiny for the day time
- Apparently causes sun sensitivity

THANK YOU DAN!!! This makes my skin look great and my confidence has increased so much... no longer scared of bright lighting that shows my flaky skin and blemishes! Woo hoo! Everyone should try this, it is NOT expensive and you get a huge tube! Side note: You should not expect this to be a miracle product if it is the ONLY thing you do for your skin. Follow Dan's regimen (don't have to use huge amount of BP if your acne isn't too bad - I don't), and eat healthy!
