Pros:

It has a sweet smell

Cons:

Expensive
Ineffective if discontinued

I used it for a month and during that period I could see my acne healing but all of a sudden I could see them growing back and this time really they looked bad. My friend advised me to stop it as this had been experienced by many and had recommend that I used Clear Pores. Indeed clear pores worked wonders and is pretty cheap and has a better healing effect than proactiv solution.

i really can't think of a pro. it honestly did not work.

it dried my skin out, terribly. the refining mask that is supposed to "clear up pimples overnight" definitely did not work.
overall epic failure.

My acne was mild, and it didn't even come close to helping. Not worth it!!!!

Refining mask for spot treatment

Made my face feel tight DRY and whenever I smiled it felt like my face was going to crack off!!!

I purchased this about a week ago. I do not have bad acne, a zit every here and there but I figured I would try it anyway. OMG!! After 2 days my skin started to dry out so bad that I couldn't even wear makeup! Right now it is flaky and my face feels so tight that I feel like it could crack into pieces at any second! Proactiv is def NOT for me...maybe if you have lots of acne and very oily skin it could work but for me...not so much! I am going back to my skinlogics by beauticontrol...that, I KNOW works for me...no more experimenting :)

It cleared up the pimple overnight.

My face broke out worse than it was to start with! My face ended up being really blotchy,itchy, dry, scaley. It's horrible.

I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. It literally makes my face itch like crazy. It became dry, really red, and more broke out than what it started as. I really did not like this product. I can't get over the fact that it's suppose to work and clear your skin overnight, and when you wake up, sure the pimple you wanted gone is gone, but you have more to deal with. If you use the cleanser on your fact, whereever you put it, your face will break out extremely bad, hense the dry and itchy face. Also, I don't like the fact that it's auto-renewal, and it's a pain to get that cancelled.
