Pros:

clears up SOME pimples

Cons:

makes skin very red
makes skin literally peel off
burns
way to harsh on skin.

ive used it for the first time and it made my skinn clear up but after a year or 2 it stops working and just burns your face. Its not worth it.

Pros:

Makes my skin feel softer.

Cons:

When I first got it I thought the bottle would be bigger, so that was a little misleading and then I started using it. I do have VERY sensitve skin but my face felt like it does when you get a really bad sunburn. Especially when I get hot and sweat. Plus my husband doesnt care for the smell so when he went to kiss me he would cringe.

Im still giving it a try at least for another week and if I dont notice anything then Im going to give it to my mom, maybe she will like it.

Some products run out quicker than others

When I first started using proactive I really thought Id found the right solution for my mild/moderate acne. However, after a couple of months, my skin started to peel real bad especially round my mouth and eyes to the point where I couldnt wear makeup Also, it really tightens and stings your face I recently booked a glycolic peel and when the girl examined my skin before treatment through a machine, she said it was so dehydrated and that I should stop using proactive immediately - I could actually see all the dry bits highlighted in purple & it looked really bad. Im going to phone proactive today to arrange a return & my money back. Hopefully they'll honour their money back deal!

Pros:

UMMMM.....none

Cons:

my skin got really dry and i hate how it feels. I thought it was supposed to work, my skin is worse now than when i started.

DO NOT buy it....i look at my face now and I hate it. I kept on giving it time, but nothing. If you miss a day, all hell brakes loose.

Pros:

Cleared (most of) my skin
Made it softer

Cons:

Still get frequent blemishes
Extremely drying
My skin still gets oily mid-day
Toner runs out very fast

I started using this product about a year ago. I was fourteen and I was fed up with my acne that had been moderate/highly moderate for the past two years. I saw the commercials and decided to finally give this product a try, seeing as I had been all over the board with about five or six other products. I ordered it and it was shipped to my house. I began using it and I broke out, but then after about a month or two my skin began to become clearer, but I still couldn't get rid of the acne. After about six months my skin began to begin to clear up for the most part, but I was never fully clear. I still use it now (along with Neutrogena Moisturising Lotion, which seemed to be the only thing that worked) and I'm tired of looking into the mirror and seeing acne. I'm about to switch products.

Pros:

I have been using it for couple days and i,m not sure if its working , maybe i was using it wrong buut did anyone get theirr skin drying off andd showing , ? and is that part of the process

Pros:

Sort of cleared my skin up the first couple of days I used it.

Cons:

Acne came back and got worse. Thankfully, I signed up with that free-trial promotion, where I'd get my money back if I'm not satisfied (which im not)

I think ProActiv only works if you have mild acne. When I say mild, I mean a small pimple or two here and there. Also, based on word of mouth, it tends to be more effective on women than men. If you're a guy suffering with Mild acne and are considering proactiv, my recommendation is to skip the topical stuff and go for the effectively proven Accutane.

Pros:

for a bit it seemed to work

Cons:

but now my face seems to be getting worsee and its pissing me off even my mom noticed
it made them more visible

from what it looks like to me now and ive been using it for over 3 months acne got worse and not better and its not that cheap so iono its your choice to buy it or not but i think it was a waste of my money because its not working

Pros:

Not much irritation
Not too expensive

Cons:

Not very effective
Has a rather strong scent

I was on this for a few months, and saw zero results.
