Pros:

Gets rid of acne well if you use it every morning and every night.

Cons:

Can dry out skin and if you skip 1 session breakouts can happen easily. Does not get rid of scars quickly.

Good product if you remember to use it every morning and every night.

Pros:

Incorrect use of proactive is what is causing your break outs/ flares/ flakeyness etc. NOTE= it may not smell any good. and may sting abit. BUT it WORKS thats what counts, right?

Cons:

INPROPER USE IS VITAL - will cause more flare ups, redness and more acne, drinking ALOT of water daily and taking vitamin and mineral supplements helps maintain overall well being and healthy beautiful skin. TRUST ME try it =]

needs to be used correctly. eg. when using the renewing cleanser, you wash it into your face for 2 minutes. time your self. because this is vital. withing the first minute its opening up your skin pores. to prepare for the cleansing of skin cells.impurities and oil. in the second minute it is removing all the unwanted oils. fat. dirt and dead skin cells. it may seem as if the creame has dissapeared withing a minute and a half or less. that is beacause it is in your pores. continue to scrub for 2 mins. then comes to the toner. pore a large amount onto cotton pad/ball wipe over entire face. so face looks wet. allow to dry COMPLETLY this opens ur pores for the active ingredient bezyol peroxide to work. once dry touch face should feel STIFF/DRY and uncomtable. this is cus all pores are open. then massage evenly amount of repair lotion until fully into skin. if needed apply sunscreen as UV rays increase ACNE! hope this helps for you all it has for me. just use <

Pros:

It helps clear dead skin cells
is smooth on your skin
etc etc

Cons:

in the beginning its sort of hard what to do..i got a bit confused and it said that the renewing cleanser should be massaged for a minute..but less then 30 seconds it already dried up and there was nothing to massage. Dries skin up..good though..

it wasnt like the product i thought it was on the TV...but i have noticed my acne clearing a bit...i have just been usin it a few weeks though. If you want good results..get a lemon or lime and squeeze its juice onto a bowl..then you get a cotton ball and start massaging it softly all over ur face...u get great results...yu can also drink it...but you can't eat anythin for an hour..so it can clean yur skin fast...

I have been using Proactiv since 2003. It is a good product. You have to use system as what they say in order for it to work properlyAcne is a chronic problem. It will come and go. You will have breakdown every now and then. So, don't expect for miracle. I have acne since I was 10 and 25 years later I still get it. But Proctiv helps in

Pros:

It seem to work good the first couple of weeks, but then I started getting a few large pimples.

Cons:

It's quite expensive and the repairing lotion makes my 50 year old skin look weird! It's like I have a plastic coating on my face and when I smile, I have lines like a plastic wrap being stretched! I'll go back to Aveeno.

It's not for me. Maybe for someone with younger skin. I will try to find an astringent like theirs, with no alcohol, and use their system- daily cleansing grains, non alcohol astringent and lotion. I guess I learned something from them.

I used proactiv for about a year, and it worked wonderfully!! My skin was soft, and there wasn't a single pimple. However, just a few months ago I started haveing a allergic reaction. My eyes got swollen and puffy, and I got red itchy blotches on my face. Turns out I developed a reaction to the benzoyl peroxide, which unfortunatly is the main ingrediant that makes the stuff so good.

Pros:

It will clear up your skin, but you have to wait about 4 months.

Cons:

Expensive and you really have to stick to the regiment.

I have tried everything, and was very dissapointed. This really is the only thing that works. But you have to remember to scrub your face for 2 minutes morning and night, wait for your toner to dry before applying the lotion, and also use the refining mask 3-4 times a week. Also I would reccomend Daily Oil Control if your face is oily!! It can be tough to stick to, but it's even worse being embarassed to show your face ! Remember to wait at least 4 months!

Pros:

It gets delivered to you once every two weeks. YOu don't have to got to the store. It's waiting for you in the mail box.

Cons:

They take the money directly out of your bank account. I don't like for someone else to have the authority to withdral my money, but me.

It works. I have tried over the counter treatment, home remedies, even prescibed medicine and nothing worked. Finally, when I was just fed up with my face, I decided to give proactive a try, (hell, I tried everything else, why not). Too my surprise it worked immediately. It has not totally revived my face, but it has worked considerably enough for me to have the confidence to show my face in public again.

Pros:

makes my skin really smooth

Cons:

dehydrates my skin a bit if i dont use a moistuiser

i dont have acne just get a pimple here and there occasionally. it dosnt seem to do nething bad to my skin just helps to maintain it. i dont think it will stop huge pimples from forming however it does prevent small ones and bumps etc. Dont over use it coz like nething else it will overdry your skin but its an acne treatment THEY ALL HAVE A DRYING EFFECT
