Pros:

The mask works well as a spot treatment on stubborn pimples

Cons:

Price
Smell
Irritating
Drying
Made Acne worse

I tired the proactive soution and was a faithful cutomer for over a year, and it works...at first, then my acne came back worse than ever! When I started it, I would classify my acne as mild, but by the end it was moderately severe, and covered my entire face. Thank goodness I got off proactive and found this site. Since I left proactive, and started the regimen my skin has dramatically cleared. Save your self the time, and the money I wasted, and start off on the right foot with the regimen.

Pros:

The product does work for the most part

Cons:

You are decieved about the actuall cost. The commercial states $19.95 and free shipping. What they don't tell you is that you are getting trial sizes. So after the initial $21 cost, if you opt for the 3 month shipment your are now in for an additional $73.

You are being scammed on the cost.

Pros:

None

Cons:

Did not work.

BEWARE when you order online you are joining the "Proactiv" club. They will automatically charge you every 2 months and send you a new package. They will NOT notify you that they are doing this.

DON'T BUY.

Pros:

Came with a free refining mask

Cons:

Didn't work

I tried using this product twice, both times I used it every day for about a four month period. I was really excited to get started using this (it was the first real thing I had tried for my acne) but it gave absolutely no results. I feel like this product would only help you if you had three or four zits on your entire face, because that's about all cleared for me. I had never cancelled my order so I kept getting boxes of it and after about six months of stopping I tried it again, but as before I saw no results. I have seen results for some people, but definitely not recommended if you have severe acne.

Pros:

None.

Cons:

If you have sensitive skin I recommend avoiding this product. Commonly cause mild to sever skin irritation.

Avoid, or use a test strip for 2 plus days. This product is extremely strong and I warn anyone with sensitive skin to not use it. There are numerous reports of allergic reactions. I had a sever allergic reaction that lasted over a week, almost like a chemical burn, raised, itchy bumps all over my face and neck, and had followed the usage instruction carefully. Don't say you haven't been warned.

Pros:

Clears skin at first
Toner was good

Cons:

Harsh
Drying
Expensive
Temporary relief of acne

Not worth it at all! I used this product for about a year and at first it worked wonders for clearing my acne (granted it dryed my skin out so terribly) but eventually it completely stopped working and my acne came back worse then ever! and when the acne came back it was impossible to clear. I've looked online and aparantly a lot of people have the same problem. Don't waste your money

Pros:

-Cleared some acne
- nice smell to it
- Kit came with helpful tips

Cons:

- itchy skin
- really dried my skin
- stinged

I used this product for over a year. It gave me great results for the first few weeks, but it didn't clear my acne. I remember when I used it for the first day, it gave me the worst sting to my face . I spent way too much for it and I have to say, I will never go back.

Pros:

None.

Cons:

Expensive - Equate product at WalMart works just the same.

ProActiv is terrible. Not only does the company sign you up for a membership - they will continue to bill you even if you never receive product. I have had billing issues with them since May of 2010. I never received product from them and yet they still continued to charge me for shipments. I cancelled my card that they were billing, as well as "membership," and they still continued to send me bills and threatened to send me to collections. Now, eight months later their awful accounting practices are fixed. It took going through a separate agency to get them to fix their lack luster ability to stop charging and billing for a product I never received. Bottom Line - Walmart sells an Equate product for $11 that works great.

Pros:

Worked for a like a month

Cons:

EXPENSIVE

WOULD NOT GIVE ME A REFUND

KEPT SHIPPING ME THE PRODUCT AFTER CANCELING 3 TIMES

PROACTIVE REPRESENTATIVES WERE RUDE AND DID NOT KEEP UP THEIR END OF THE DEAL WITH THE MONEY BACK GUARANTEE.

I am a college student that was fighting acne, basically because I was stressed out all of the time. I used proactive for 1 month and when I went to cancel it, they would not accept it and continued to ship it to me. I had to go to the post office 3 times shipping the product back to them. After 3 months I am STILL waiting for my refund. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
