Pros:

Smells good

Cons:

Expensive, never fully cleared my skin, pressed you into making automatic shipping.

It never totally worked for me. I was clearer but never blemish free. I tried it consistently for about 6 months and after not seeing much improvement gave up on it.

Pros:

I've started to use the repairing lotion as part of my routine with using cetaphyl cleanser and aveeno moisturizing lotion and it works well as a benzol peroxide treatment. When combined with the cleanser and the toner it really irritated my skin.

Cons:

I don't know why but this really didn't work for me. I went from having occasional pimples to full flown break outs. The cleanser irritates the skin especially if you scrub for 1-2 minutes as suggested. Just not a great product.

Made my skin worse. But the benzol peroxide works well when combined with other products.

Pros:

cleared up skin for a while...

Cons:

left skin dry and flaky, often itchy and made me want to scratch my whole face off!! also made zits only disappaer but same ones would reappear in the same spot even worse and bigger than before

I liked using it when I stated but noticed that all it was doing was fading my zits away for a while but then they would appear again in the same spot, it wasnt clearing up my skin I thought it was just hiding my zits....not fun and not good!!

Pros:

After a while Proactive does work some, and gets rid of some acne spots.

Cons:

It bleaches out your skin, around PMS isent very strong, and when you have a brake out it isent very effective.

I used Provactive for 6 months, and it helped some but it i want my skin to go from ok to good, and when i have brake outs and such its not a big help. So i only recomonded for mild acne.

Pros:

feels right on my skin. my skin is sensitive and dry so it left it feeling just right and not dry which I found Interesting.

Cons:

They only give you a small amount in the kit so it makes it a bad deal.

I only used it a few times and I bought murad instead. It was okay though.

Pros:

It does work when you first start using it.

Cons:

Your skin becomes used to it over time and the oil becomes a greater problem as days go on.

If you have a wedding coming up and you need a quick fix, this is for you. Otherwise, find another solution.

Pros:

my daughters face cleared up after about 2 months of using proactive and has continued to be clear.

Cons:

acne gets very bad when you do not use proactive, it bleach's the towels, it's expensive, you cannot buy it in a store in Canada; you have to order it on line or by phone, if you use it too much your face tends to dry out alot.

I believe that all in all proactive is worth using, but still wondering if it is really safe to use daily (some of ingredients are believed to cause cancer).

I was very excited to use proactive... I was sadly disappointed when it didn't work AND made my skin worse! Maybe it works for some people.. didn't work at all for me.

Pros:

Smooths out your skin and leaves it feeling soft and clean. Does reduce scarring somewhat.

Cons:

Eventually over time stops working. Seems to make your skin look greasy.

I started using proactive in 1998, so 11 years ago, and in the beginning it worked fantastic! My mom even noticed how well it was working and was a big fan and told me to continue using it, which I agreed. I occasionally still had pimples though, but in the spots where my skin was the most oily. Well it has pretty much stopped working and I am having the most horrible breakout I've ever had! I have a few times stopped using it and noticed and my face would clear up and be beautiful, but after awhile of not using it my face would also become less smooth, then I would start breaking out again which would get me to start using it again. Vicious cycle. Now I am back to using it once a day and it is not clearing up my face at all. The only thing it's doing that's good is making my face smoother... where my zits are not! Lol. Weird. So as a true proactiv vetern I suggest finding a good natural cure acne e-book and following that for clear skin. Get to the root of the problem.

Pros:

It reduced my acne by about 75%... it helped my skin alot... i love it .

Cons:

The only bad thing i feel about this product is it is very expensive.

i believe that if i continue the use of this product i will have the most radiant skin ever (not true)
