Pros:

none.

Cons:

this product made my acne worse. Left my skin feeling too oily after I used it and caused more breakouts.

Dont use this product if you have severe acne. It will only make irritate your skin and make your breakouts worse. Use if you have very mild acne. If you notice in the comercials, no one has severe acne, everyone has very light acne.

Pros:

- It works !
- Keeps acne under control.

Cons:

- It only works for a few weeks to one month, then it pretty much does nothing.
- Acne control is mild after a few weeks.

- Not worth the money - TOO EXPENSIVE - Keep looking for other products.

Pros:

Seemed to work at 1 others mentioned

Cons:

Made me break out worse then ever w/ cyst like pimples everywhere .They hurt like hell and I thought it was because I had to go down to once a day use as it was drying my face out but after reading other comments I see I am not alone.

Does not seem to work for me. Acne is worse after using. If nothing else has worked Id say give it a shot but I would exhaust all other options before wasting your time and money.

Pros:

Does work well in the beginning.

Cons:

Face cleared completely in two weeks, than totally flared up again and again. Cannot keep it clear for long. Over drying, no moisturizer strong enough to keep skin from flaking.

I spent a lot of money. I thought that if I was going to do this, then I was going to do this right. I bought their "Combination Therapy" kit, + the moisturizer, + the makeup removing cloths, + the night cream, and the acne spot treatment and all I have to show for it is a cabinet full of bottles and tubs that haven't done me a lot of good and three deep nodules on my cheek.

Pros:

- None. As for what I saw at least.

Cons:

- Made skin more oily with moisturizer.
- Made too dry without.
- Made pimples much worse.

Proactiv was horrible. And reading all these other reviews, I think it is overall a horrible product. Very deceiving with the commercials, but actually made my face worse than before. Don't buy this product.

Pros:

It works really well for the first year or so... a major difference within the first few uses.

Cons:

After a few months it loses its effectiveness for some reason, maybe it's drying my skin out too much?

No

Pros:

The product helped my skin for about 3 years. i would only get one or two pimples on my face that was easily controlled.

Cons:

But.. after 3 years proactiv ruined my skin.. i had uncontrollable breakouts all over my face and the medicine at the dermatologist barely help out.. it's been about 2 years since i last used proactiv. and my skin still does not look good.

If you want something that does the job temporarily then you can use it but I don't think the side affects to the product is worth is since I'm still dealing with it. I think proactiv makes your skin a bit immune to a lot of topical acne solutions.. I think I'll end up with the last resort and getting prescribed accutane
