Pros:

I bought it through a station at a mall. Easily available and I did not have to wait for it to be shipped.

Cons:

I have had this now for over a month and my face has not cleared up at all. Matter of fact, my acne got worse! At 33, you would think I look like I am a teenager again! It did bleach some of my towels too.

Never again will I waste money on a product that has a lot of famous people behind it. I think that they have mislead a lot of people and I call the "false advertisement"!!!!

Pros:

- Worked a bit, but not that big of a difference
- Great face wash

Cons:

- ingredients were too harsh for sensitive skin
- not worth the money

I like their face wash, that worked for me well. But everything else was too harsh for my skin. Not recommended if you have sensitive skin since BP is their active ingredient.

Pros:

worked for alittle while

Cons:

face got worse after a while and i started to get dark sun spots all over my face (even when using lots of sun screen).. all the dark spots went away within 2 weeks of going back on clinque..

may work for some people, but definitely not me. i have seen the sun spots on quite a few people that have tried this product and they all disappeared within weeks of going to another product..

Pros:

Well for the first couple of months or so it really makes a difference.

Cons:

After a few months though it stops working and it makes your acne worse and more painful.

If you only use it once in a while its a fine product, but please do not use it for a long period of time because it will make your acne come in much worse. Dr. Randhawa

Pros:

It works for a little while and while its actuallly works my pimples start to fade.

Cons:

My face got immune to proactive very quickly. And when my acne came back it was so much worse than before. Now I have to deal with painful pimples that I did not have to deal with before.

I would not use this if I were you. Mild acne can turn into a big painful problem with this stuff. My face ended up getting a little bleached but it soon went away after I stopped using it. I havent met anyone who says it really fully worked. I would suggest trying something else.

Pros:

Dries up oil. Lessened blackheads.

Cons:

Acne comes back (and worse) if you don't use it consistently. Skin burns, especially when sweating hours after use. Bleaches skin. Very drying. And the refining mask does nothing but zap my skin of all moisture and make it red/flaky.

Definitely not the miracle treatment as advertised. I don't have massive acne, just blackheads and deep white heads that I could never get rid of. My intention was to spot use Proactiv, as needed. Very disappointed that when I miss a day or two (because it's too strong, and I don't have sensitive skin or a lot of acne), I get massive eruptions worse than I've ever had in my life. My skin is slightly bleached white, and looks bleached instead of clear. Further, read the fine lines of the 'membership'. I signed up for the 30 day trial, on day 12, changed the shipping frequency for every 3 months, then was shipped and billed for a full treatment 14 days after the initial 30 day trial and after I changed the frequency. When asked, the rep said most people order full shipments well before the 30 day trial is up. Shipment should be based on what was signed up for and agreed to, not what the mass public is doing! (Full refund was promised though).

Pros:

clears pimples up for a little while
smooth at first
mask does help make pimple smaller

Cons:

too high!!!! if you stop using it, your face will break out more mask works good but it's stank!!! works for a while and then...no improvement!! broke sistas like me... don't get it

it works at first but then it doesn't. i used it and it worked like a few weeks then i stopped and when i started using it again it stopped working. please don't waste yo money! i used the kit and their deep cleansing wash and none of it worked!! i suffered with acne since the fourth grade and i'm now 16. i'm still finding something that will help me.

Pros:

It's affordable

Cons:

The three step process is way too consuming, dries face, bad odor, etc.

I am very disappointed. The first week I used Proactive, it worked. After that week, my face worsened. I used it for a month and a half and no improvement. My face looks worse now than before I started using Proactive. I have a niece and nephews that are in H.S. and Proactive made their face worse too. Proactive is all lies!

Pros:

Helps pimples stay away for the most part
Leave skin feeling soft.

Cons:

Irritates skin, makes it flakey, makes skin worse at first, smells like chemicals, takes a very long time to make your pimples go away.

This woud be good for people with light acne. Anything more then that, dont count on it. It still makes me break out, doesnt make current pimples go away either. Not worth the money at all.

didnt clear everything and stopped working

proactive seems to work for about a couple months but it isnt consistent, your skin gets used to it and its not as effective anymore =(
