Cons:

- Makes acne MUCH worse than before
- Dries out skin
- Toner stings like crazy
- Makes skin BRIGHT red
- Getting a refund is impossible
- They charge you monthly without you knowing

My mom bought me this when I was fourteen and I used it for about a month. It caused me to break out HORRIBLY and it made my skin bright red! It was also painful to smile or to touch my face. Also, BEWARE that this company will charge you a fee every month after you get the trial version. It takes FOREVER to get your money back and customer service is AWFUL.

Pros:

Controls 'average' acne
Brings acne to their 'heads' quicker
Seemed to reduce the size of my pimples
My skin is crazy soft
Wide range of follow up products
Handy sized bottles

Cons:

It's given me embarrassingly oily skin
I'm sick of the smell
It dries out my hands and face
It makes my skin "tight, shiny and red" after cleansing.

I tried ALOT of over the counter products like many other people here, and they did barely anything for me, and I did not want to go on a medication so I decided to try acne.org products. Unfortunately the only product from that regimen that is still handy to me is the cleanser, I love it. Once I had accepted that acne.org was not working for me ( I really thought "this is the one") I turned to Proactiv. Seconds into using the cleanser (first step) I could feel my skin getting so soft and smooth, and it got me so excited. After a few uses, my pimples were smaller dots and my acne was more controlled. After a few months, I've noticed that it prevents new pimples up until my "time of the month stages" (I believe I have hormonal acne).I only have a couple "clear skin" weeks until my hormones do their thing (and I get pimples), and proactiv doesn't seem to be able to control that much. But I have confidence that it's fighting for me all month round. It also gives me incredibly shiny oily skin, even if i don't moisturise my skin will look like I had just put massage oil on my face. So right now I'm trying to control that with a moisturiser, and blotting sheets but I hate how they make my skin feel. Bottom Line: If you've tried everything, and still not satisfied with acne.org, do give it a go, Proactiv has worked the best for me out of all the other products I've been through.

Pros:

Rejuvinating lotion adds moisture to stripped skin.

Cons:

Expensive

Found this product to be a waste of time and money. I'm 50 and suffered most of my life with mild-moderate acne.

Pros:

It leaves your skin soft
It will clear up dark acne scars
It will clear up acne instantly

Cons:

Dry feeling
burning sensation if you have a cut or something

This is an amazing product for those who have moderate acne, but also oily skin. Not for those who have dry skin because it can dry it up more. but if you have dry skin and acne as well, then give Proactiv a try:) Good Luck, i am in love with my results in just 10 days already!

Pros:

helps with blackheads

Cons:

Drys out your skin

I wanted to write a post because I had tried everything in the past. About 9-8 months ago I started breaking out so bad all over my face. I tried proactive, RX washes, RX pills etc. Turns out... It was my birthcontrol. I was taking loestrin 24 which caused my face to break out with acne all over. I finally figured it out and switch my pill and my acne is gone. So ladies if you are on the pill you might want to look into chaning it!

Pros:

It WORKS
Easy to use
Pleasant smell
Flexible steps

Cons:

Can dry out skin
Expensive
Long postage time

I feel like this product really works for me and i wanted to post this review for everyone that is thinking about trying it. PLEASE TRY IT The people posting on these forums are the small amount of people that it hasnt worked for therefore they want to have a whinge and a cry about it. The people that it has worked for carry on living their happy acne free lives without thinking about people like us who read these forums for guidance and support. Im 19 years old and i had horrible acne for about a year before now. i finally tried proactiv and it has shown great results (took about two months). I have quite bad scarring now, but they will fade over time and luckily it can be covered with make up. Ive had soooo many comments about how clear my skin looks, its amazing! I kind of made my own routine: 1. In the morning i cleanse with the proactiv scrub then apply jojoba oil for the scarring. I tone with cold water. Waay cheaper. 2. In the evening i cleanse with a neutrogena cleanser that removes make up really well and then benxoyl peroxide the sh*t out of my face with the proactive repair stuff. This routine works wonders for me but people need to realize that EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT! Follow the proactiv steps first, then if it starts to dry out your skin,, dont give in,, chop and change the steps until they work for you. I hope this helps.. I truly believe that it can work for anyone if they persevere.

Pros:

-the refining mask
-the toner
-works for a few months

Cons:

-expensive
-runs out easily
-doesnt work for long periods of time

So I got proactiv when i was about 13 and it worked for a few months. Then my face started to get really red and oily. I went to the dermatologist and they basically told me that Proactiv is for the Hollywood stars that need a quick fix until they can get an appointment with their dermatologist. DO NOT waste your money on Proactiv unless you just had a minor break out and you have a dance or a trip to go to. It is not going to fix your acne or calm it down in the long run. trust me. been there, done that.

Pros:

*It was easy to use
*It worked for a little bit but then it, obviously it stopped working!!
*The refining mask worked, but sometimes it made my acne worse!

Cons:

*Gave me dry skin
*Quite expensive
*I am only 13 and I was getting really bad lines around my eyes
*It burned
theres definately more negatives than positives about this range of skincare!

Proactiv, I must admit did work, but not for long. After using it day and night, every day my skin started to get extremely DRY!!! It was unbearable, one day it was so bad, that one half of my face was really dry and skin was peeling everywhere, and I had to go to school like that! it was embarassing. Anyway, and then I got really bad lines under my eyes and I thought, 'maybe I should stop this product. And I did! But once I cancelled this product, they kept sending me proactiv months on end! so now It has stopped coming but I have heaps of daily oil control, refining mask and a lot of bottles of repairing lotion! I'm glad I tried Proactiv, but it didn't work for me, but that doesn't mean itwon't work for other people If you want to try it, you should. It just didn't work for me! :)

Pros:

Looks like it'll work in the first week.

Cons:

Doesn't work
Over priced for no results.

I put off buying this product simply because of its price. I gave in because i've been suffering from pimples for 9 years. I've tried everything out there and have even taken roaccutane which as well did not work. This product was just one more disappointment. I would never recommend this product, doctors and dermatologists will tell you only to use cleansing wash such as Cetaphil. I will be going back to that.
