Pros:

I like the smell of the product

Cons:

The cons of this product is that it did not work at all for me. As a matter of fact my acne became worse. I know you should wait 3 months when using a product to see improvement. I waited 10 months and things just got worse and worse. I used the product EXACTLY as they told me to. Also they include free skin clearing vitamins. Not free at all come month 2 I was auto enrolled in the vitamin program and they debited my bank account $60 every month for those vitamins and it was a pain to cancel.

I would never order from this company ever again. Not only was the product a joke so was their customer service. I am not a ATM and that is the way they treated me. Also when I was finally able to cancel my account, I was told Proactiv is used to keep CLEAR SKIN CLEAR NOT TO CLEAR CURRENT ACNE!!!! Where is that statement on T.V. and Website?

Pros:

Worked from when I was 15-20. Well, it brought my acne from severe to mild.

Cons:

Sometimes it cleared 100%. For the most part, i it never cleared me completely. After 5 years, it stopped working all together. It might be overpriced.

Give it a try. But I think there are cheaper alternatives in Walgreens which have the same ingredients.

Pros:

Cleared my skin for about four months.
(That I still use)
The only good products they have:
Green Tea Moisturizer
Proactiv Solution Deep Cleansing Wash

Cons:

Made acne much* worse.
Dries skin out.
Causes redness and irritation.
Burns my skin.
High cost.
AWFUL COSTUMER SERVICE.

I have moderate acne and VERY oily skin. (I'm 15 years old) I used Proactiv for about six months. Which is three systems total. It took about 2-3 months to actually start working because my skin had to adjust to it. The two systems were AMAZING!!! My acne cleared up and skin was healthy looking. When I got the third system something odd happened. My skin became very itchy and red. About a week later I started to break out really badly and my face was EXTREMELY dry. Moisturizer and plain dove soap even burned my face. I decided I just needed to take a break with the harsh products. So I stopped using any acne products for about two weeks. Right after I stopped using Proactiv I broke out SO BADLY. I went to my doctor and they put me on a product called: BenzaClin. It's really expensive but it cleared up my acne. BOTTOM LINE: Don't buy Proactiv. It's a waste of money.

Pros:

I wouldn't know, I couldn't get past their deceptive billing.

Cons:

They automatically send/bill you for a 90-day supply, even if you change your shipment frequency online to be much longer than 90 days. I returned the unwanted 90-day supply, and and they are still charging me monthly payments for it.

Don't sign up for this product if you are on a budget. Its extremely expensive to begin with, and they will send it to you and bill you for it even if you tell them not to. BEWARE!

Pros:

Free exfoliating face brush
Didn't irritate my skin

Cons:

Didn't do anything for me & actually made my t-zone oilier & exacerbated the problem!

I have combination skin & never really had pimple problems until after having a child. I started to get random huge, red, painful pimples that I call "volcano zits" so I tried proactive thinking it would make my skin smoother & my t-zone less oily but all it did was make it alot oiler & increased the amount of pimples! Now instead of 1 or big zits, my forhead is covered with small grainy red bumps & increased shine that no powder or blotting paper can get rid of. I should have checked out thess un-biased website reviews 1st because I was suckered into the the whole, "well it's good enough for celebrities so it must work" schpiel. Celebs have a whole team of people & lots of money to help stay looking great all the time & they love to appear in ads & of course the $$$ that they get paid for doing so... so do not be fooled! This stuff may be a "miracle product" for a select few but obviously most of us un-paid non-actors have found out differently. I don't recommend Proactive unless you want to make your skin problems WORSE!

Pros:

smells nice
leaves skin feeling fresh

Cons:

dried my skin
never really cleared up my acne

after trying everything like clearasil, cold water, changing diet i then went on to pro active it worked sometimes nut then eventually made it all worse it got that bad that i quit college because i wouldnt bare people looking at me and i quit my modeling too. sounds pathetic but acne scars you on the inside more than on the out. i then went onto Duac that worked wonders for me for about 6 months never had a breakout then it started again so now im on doxy for about a month now and i use tea tree oil at night with it. seems to be working really well my skin feels really good my natural tone is back without the really red cheeks. im not sure if its the tea tree or doxy but i would reconmend tea tree or tose water from booys.

Pros:

Clears skin in less than 2 months.
Has a number of different products that you can try on your skin. One of them is bound to work
Can get rid of scars from severe acne.

Cons:

Dries out skin sometimes.
Can make skin very oily.
Costs are high but it's worth it.

Give it a go. If it doesn't work for you and you can't afford, simply don't buy it, or stop buying it.

Pros:

Makes skin very soft

Cons:

Dries out skin
Causes irritation
Stings even after you wash everything off
Made my skin crazy red
Expensive
Made my skin feel really tight
Only works for about two months, then just stops and eventually gets a lot worse

For the love of god don't buy this stuff! It really is a scam. Even after you cancel your order they just keep on charging you. The commercials where people are all like "oh it's so wonderful" are such BS. Straight up, just don't buy it.
April 28, 2012

Pros:

A nice cleanser
Makes your face feel fresh after applying
Moisturizer was helpful

Cons:

Didn't clear up any acne..or prevent any from starting

It felt nice at first, and made me think this product might actually work compared to everything else i've tried...but after almost two months of using it, i realized my acne never cleared up and it certainly did not prevent any breakouts. And usually i never get huge zits, i tend to have a good amount of small ones, and suddenly i had huge, bright red ones EVERYWHERE!
