Pros:

This did NOTHING to my skin but dry it out..

Cons:

-dry skin
-irritated and rashed
-burned

DO NOT BUY THIS..i ordered it once and it completly messed up my skin and then when i tried canceling it they kept trying to sell me more. After i told them i made my skin worse she recommended a "new" kind. Bullsh*t..now they sent me another package after i cancelled it TWICE and i called them, they said they were going to send me a return label..you think i got it NO! and then i called them again wondering what was up and they said that it was over the 60 days so i had to pay it now. I feel VERY ripped off and don't want this to happen to anyone else. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS SH*T!!! I rated this 1 only because there is no option for 0

Pros:

It's helps a little, made my skin smooth in some areas

Cons:

It doesn't help 100%
Billing is horrible
customer service is horrible

ok so in my opinion the older proactiv worked much better than their never version. It has never dried my skin out and my face feels smoother overall. But I am still getting acne on my chin and forehead and I use this consistently everyday. I am disappointed as the older version made my skin so clear. The biggest Problem with Proactiv is their customer service. I have never dealt with such unprofessional customer service. They are clueless and Never answer your questions. Billing is horrible. I have sent out 2 different checks which they claim after 2 months they have not received so I canceled one and then they finally receive it and try to cash it. I told them I was canceling it and now they have added another $5.00 for my bad check UGH! After a week of going back and forth with them I canceled my account. It is not worth the hassle. The charge more than they say and can never give me an itemized list of what I bought and payed for. Thankfully I have bank proof and also paypal receipts! I like it but I will NEVER purchase from Proactiv again. It has been a nightmare.

Pros:

+ Made my skin feel nice afterwards sometimes
+ Might work for people with moderate to very light acne.
+ I really liked the Refining mask.

Cons:

+ Very Expensive
+ Didn't really work after a while
+ My skin felt irritated when I put the
Toner on sometimes.

I have combonation skin. Oily everywhere else but cheeks. I used this when I was 12-13. It worked sort of. But that was because I didn't have very many zits. I would recommend this to someone who has very oily skin. I really hope I find something that works.

Pros:

The old Proactiv worked fine for me years ago. I had no problems with it as it wasn't too harsh on my skin back then. My skin wasn't sensitive though so that may be a factor as to why it worked so well.

- The old Proactiv would most likely help those with mild-moderate acne.

Cons:

DO NOT USE THIS IF YOU HAVE SENSITIVE/DRY SKIN.

- I stupidly used this when I was in an irrational mood...due to frustration with my acne and other personal stresses. The new Proactiv exacerbated my condition terribly. I never got indented scars before I used this earlier this year. But the cleanser was so drying that my face would peel horribly, especially my cheeks. And only a water-based moisturizer helped any.
- Not recommended for severe acne.

I dropped the Proactiv which screwed up my skin worse than it ever was after about a month. I didn't want tto deal with unnecessary permanent scars. I ended up realizing that stress was a major factor in my acne. I was sleeping way too late and I think soy milk which I switched to as opposed to dairy caused me to get ugly zits on my chin (I never broke out on my chin like this before) as well as my cheeks. It's been about a week since I quit eating meat, eating/drinking dairy or drinking soy milk, and pretty much sticking to fruits and veggies and I haven't gotten a single worrisome zit. Before I was getting a few every two days that would turn into cysts that would pop easily when washed with warm water. I didn't think stress was a factor at first but it really was. I thought my acne was bad before but after I spent weeks and weeks (embarrassingly...) crying about it, it got so much worse. Also, drink a lot of water and consider doing yoga/going organic/vegan. Although I do crave sugary foods, i feel so much more at ease when I eat natural food. And unless you have an allergy to it, it's very unlikely to break you out. So, I wouldn't personally recommend any benzoyl peroxide wash if you have sensitive skin with severe acne. I started using Retin-A (reluctantly, as I dreaded an initial breakout that may screw up my face even more) and after about 2.5 weeks, I'm already seeing a difference. I don't have a single ugly cyst on my face, only a couple of small whiteheads, and some Post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation...due to horrible stress. But if stress isn't the problem, and changing your diet doesn't help, along with Retin-A, yoga to calm you down, etc., then I still wouldn't recommend a harsh cleanser. See a doctor because it's most likely an internal problem that is probably fixable - hormones, organ function, whatever. Hope this helps someone.

Pros:

-leaves rest of skin that has no acne feeling smooth
-feels refreshing

Cons:

-bottles run out at different times; have no more toner but have plenty of the first step (cleanser) left
-no immediate results

the acne i have isn't so severe, but i never had a problem with it until recently. i usually had one or two zits every month or two, but now i find a new one every week. i don't have acne all over my face (breakouts only on forehead, between nose and lips, and chin). i didn't see results immediately like the commercials said i would. in fact, i really didn't see any results until about a month later. i did notice the sides of my face and cheeks smoother. i still broke out even after using the kit. and that refining mask that says to dab a little when i see a zit forming to prevent it from getting bigger..? DOES NOT WORK. i still woke up with the zit, bigger than the night before. i used the kit accordingly, two times a day, the mask every other day, and green tea extract once a week or so. i was hoping to see VISIBLE results and stop breaking out, but it didn't do so. i called to cancel the kit, and the guy said people dont see results until about a month later. so i continued to use it for two months and did see LITTLE results; fewer breakouts. today my face is clear. two days ago i had a zit. probably tomorrow i'll get a small one. its random. so does it work? i guess it just depends on the skin you have. i can't speak for everyone, but if you have similar acne problems like mine, you might get the same results.

Pros:

Delivered to my house!
Appears to heal acne pimples faster
Does not smell bad
Makes my skin feel really really clean!
Lasts for a long time
Still having SOME breakouts, though it really has cleared my skin up for the most part nicely

Cons:

I am now oily in my T zone (this has NEVER happened before)
It is a little expensive
I hate to be trapped into a monthly plan
Dries my skin a lot, but this is managable with moisturizer

I do actually like the Proactiv solution... I feel that it has helped with my acne, and I trust that it will work for my skin.... I have not played around with it too much (i.e. come off to see if my acne flares back up, not used one of the products...) I follow the directions religiously. Bottom line, I know that while using proactiv, when a pimple is forming, it will come to a head within one day, then I pop it (properly) and within a day or two it is dried up, and gone...the healing is REALLY quick. Red marks- There are a few, but it is really light, and they fade after a short while (a week at tops) This is not a big deal for me, because I have freckles, and so the marks are sort of hidden. To counteract the oilyness, I have started to use the Proactiv Daily Oil Control, and that does help. On proactiv I am confidant that when a pimple arises, it will be gone within a few days, as opposed to before, when I would have pimples under the skin for WEEKS, pimples that never came to a head, and when it would come to a head, it would take forever to heal and be done with it.

Pros:

Smells okay. Easy storage.

Cons:

When you first use it it causes breakouts. Then it "clears it up" that is what i have been told but I broke out and never got cleared up until I stopped using it. For my sister she brokeout than cleared up. You have to use it consistently or it doesn't work. The toner made my skin burn.

It is a waste of money. Yes it does work for some people but not many. No, no, no, no!

Cons:

1.)DONT BE FOOLED BY THE 19.95 OFFER! THEY ROPE YOU IN FOR TWO MORE MONTHS OF PRODUCTS WITHOUT TELLING YOU!!
2)Gave me tiny whiteheads on spots that were't an issue before
3)DRYING!!
4)The bonus green tea moisturizer is about the size of my pinky!!!

UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY MORE THAN $60 FOR THE WHOLE SERIES OF PRODUCTS...DO NOT BUY THE SPECIAL OFFER OF $19.95!!! I HAD TO GO OUT OF MY WAY TO CANCEL AND RETURN THE OTHER TWO PACKAGES AND THEY STILL HAVE NOT REFUNDED MY MONEY.
