Pros:

Works on mild to moderate acne, no matter what age you are (i'm 30) Works better than most prescription and OTC acne medication.

Cons:

You will still have a pimple here and there, but it clears 98% I think. You get quick results too.

It's a great medication. I've been using it since 2004. The trick is that you have to use it ALL THE TIME. Don't stop using it when your face clears up. Use it all the time and you should have nice skin the majority of the time. I have used every acne medication, even accutane, and proactiv did the trick for me. Yes, I still have the occasional breakout, usually around my cycle, but nothing like I had before using it.

Pros:

Cleared my acne, Made my face sooooo sloft and clean looking.

Cons:

If you stop using it, your zits come back

I have used proactiv for about a year and a half, and it kept my skin clear. I came to teach English in Japan and since my face was flawless, and I started Yazmin, I thought, I dont need it anymore...Wrong!! I started breaking out here in Japan ... Really badly! ig cysts and deep white heads...fortunatly, they have proactiv in Japan but its DOUBLE the price and the ingredients are totally different. Japanese have sensitive skin, and benzyol peroxide and salicitic acid is not even allowed in the country lol! Anyway, I took the risk annd bought it. Its no miracle product, but I do so a difference in my skin. Although I still get annoying breakouts, I still have some hope....maybe..

Pros:

Works if you keep using it

Cons:

skin gets worse when you stop

I used to have the occasional pimple and started useing Proactive or about a year and my face was ok. Then i stoped and my face has broken out horribly! I have now reordered it to see if my face will clear up again

Pros:

Keeps my face clear for the most part, I still occasionaly break out, but not as much and my face is soft and smooth. Repairing Lotion, face wash and clarifying night cream are great. I do find the mask works if I put some on the pimple at night.

Cons:

Don't like the fact that must buy it in 3-steps system. I like only certain items that work for me not all 3.

I have been using this product for about 3 years. It does work for me.

Pros:

It really works! And, it makes my face feel smooth and clean after I use it, the refining mask is absolutely amazing,

Cons:

It's expensive and it takes several months before you really start seeing results (the acne already there takes awhile to go away), sometimes parts of my face start to sting/burn for about 15 to 30 seconds after using the toner

Proactiv DOES work, but you have to be patient! It is not going to get rid of your acne over night. It took at least three months before I really started seeing results. And another three months before I felt comfortable enough to go out without make- up (something I haven't been able to do in years). My acne has been gone for a couple of months now, but I still use proactiv because it does such a good job of preventing acne from returning. Though, I still do get the occasional pimple, but it's not nearly as bad as it used to be. Only a couple have actually broken the surface so that I can see as well as feel them, but they're gone within a couple of days (and as noticeable as they used to be). Also, you MUST wash your hands after using it, otherwise it will bleach your towels and clothes. That is what I do and that is the reason why I have never had the problem of bleached towels and/or clothing. Though, it does bleach hair and eyebrows, but it's really not that noticeable.

Pros:

leave your skin soft and refreshed. helps clear black heade and small pimple fast. dries out oily spots

Cons:

doesnt work good on moderater to severe acne.
not very affordable especially for the results

it will clear out your pores from any polution but will leave reds spots. it also dries out pimple but leaves like scabs where they once where. it's ok but dries you face out and can make it very sensitve. i would recomend it to you dont use it if you have allot of acne though.

Pros:

It really works for me like how it said on the commericals. it improved my overall look. it even removed redness, scars left from a long time ago.

Cons:

a little too expensive. and hard to buy not many places sell them so its best to buy online

it works best on preventing acne/breakouts. but once they are out it doesnt help too much. but if you use it everyday you rarely get breakouts.

Pros:

I love how this makes my skin feel. It makes my skin feel very soft and smooth, and yes it works very well.

Cons:

I am not too keen on the price, but it is worth it to have clear skin. Be careful if you go tanning!!! I forgot and burnt my face!

I have had acne since I was about 11 and I am now 23 and decided that this was enough. When they offered that one month supply for the shipping and handling charges only, I had to try it. I haven't seen my scars start to fade yet, but I have only been using it for about four months. It is $50 for a two month supply, but when you think about it, that really isn't that much and my two month supply lasts me a lot longer than two months using as directed. I and other people have noticed how clear my face looks. I will not go back to my other face washes that dried the crap out of my face and didn't help at all. I love this, and have even bought a few of the introductory ones for some friends!

Pros:

I used it on and off for the past 8 years and while i'm using it my face is clear, my face can be sensetive and this product did not irratate it at all

Cons:

Slightly expensive

Well i have not used proactive for the past year or so and my face is screaming for it! I just reordered it and I can't wait for the white box with green letters to come to my door. My face never has been too back with acne although with stress in my life has caused it to break out terribly! I know once i get proactive my face will be nice and clear soon!!!

Pros:

Makes skin brighter and smoother after first use, and eventually clearer
Skin feels clean after use
Automatic shipping relieves the worry of running out

Cons:

Smell, but it's not unbearable
Skin doesn't clear overnight
Cannot get lazy or skip a day

This product works. I definatly recommend it. It can be pricey, but it's worth it. My acne used to be moderate and now it's very light.
