Pros:

Cleared up my skin within 1-2 weeks
Don't need to cake on make-up anymore!
Leaves skin smooth

Cons:

A little drying

I've tried many different products for my acne, over the counter and prescription. Nothing can measure up to the Proactiv. I've been using it now for 2 weeks and for the first time in years, I can go out without caking on concealer or foundation. I had very minimal redness and drying from the 3 step program. Mostly around the nose, but a little moisturizer helped that. Proavtiv makes my skin look so smooth and toned. I really have no complaints. I'm so pleased with the prduct so far. I hope it will continue to help me. Try this product!!

Pros:

Decreased the amount of acne
Dried out acne
Decent scent

Cons:

Dried out rest of the skin
Itching and flaking

I've used Proactiv for a little under five months and it has done wonders to clear my skin. The Benzoyl Peroxide medication is terrific and helps to decrease the severity of any new blemishes. However, my face is now incredibly dry. I apply the Oil-Free Moisturizer five to six times a day. Any makeup that I use looks ridiculous with the flaky skin. Although I enjoy the clearer skin, I may discontinue use after my supply runs out and invest in another product. Despite this, it gets the job done and my acne has decreased.

Pros:

Keeps skin clear 90 percent of the time. Keeps skin from getting shiny, even clears up the rosacea on my cheeks.

Cons:

It does not cure acne it just PREVENTS it really well! When you use it do not get discouraged. It will take a week to see results and 2-3 weeks to have clear skin. Pricey $$.

It's a bit pricey but definitely worth it. Once you start you HAVE to keep using it so make sure you are prepared to keep buying it. I have really sensitive skin and this is the only OTC acne treatment I have found that does not dry-out/completely ruin my skin. I was VERY surprised to find it also cured the rosacea on my cheeks. Nice bonus. =)

Pros:

-It will help acne if used CONSISTENTLY.
-It is a complete system.

Cons:

-It can dry out your skin i the beginning.
-It is not a miracle in a bottle.

It works if you use is every day. If your skin gets dried out, only use it at night. Moisturize. Just pay attention to the signs that you skin is giving you. (Is it dry? Don't use Benzoyl Peroxide. Is it oily? Use the system and the mask.) Proactiv cannot guarantee that you will never have another pimple again, because you probably will. I recommend it because it has really helped me. I have much less acne, and my breakouts are less frequent. I am broken out right now, but I know that it will only last a few days because the product works.

Pros:

Works good, non drying, some immediate results, gentle for sensitive skin

Cons:

Takes a while to get full effect, can bleach towels.

Good product, makes your face look and feel good. Quick to use, easy automatic delivery. Get the extra stregth for worse acne, it puts salicylic acid in the mix too. (the toner) I used reguar for 6 months then switched and now with extra strength its even better. Extra strength doesn't smell very good though.

Pros:

it makes your face really smooth, and clears small pimples well

Cons:

it definitely doesnt work well on serious acne, and makes you dry if you dont moisturize well

i think it worth your money, and you should definitely take a shot at it

Pros:

proactiv seems to be great, but from what i've read here, it seems like it's not going to last very long..

Cons:

I've been using this product for about a week and a half, and my skin is getting very dry and sensitive.

I thought that getting the green tea moisturizer would help with all the dryness. if you heard or experienced that the green tea moisturizer was good / bad, i would appreciate it if you could please post a review...

Pros:

It worked fast. The use is consistenet and better then regular over the counter products. I have oily combo skin and it got rid of oiliness but didnt't make my skin feel tight an it was shine free.

Cons:

Sometimes when you use it too much for like a year or something it doesn't work as well as it used to when you first got it, but still works well.

Kept my acne and blemishes at bay and helped get rid of oiliness.

Pros:

consistently prevented acne

Cons:

was rather drying (had to counteract this with moisturizers), time-consuming

I used Proactiv for 4 years. It consistently prevented acne breakouts. Before using it, I had moderate breakouts (whiteheads) on my cheeks, forehead, nose & chin. I'd tried most drugstore products & nothing worked (I've since figured out salicylic acid does nothing for me). While using it, I had no breakouts, just the occasional pimple. I tolerated the benzoyl peroxide well - no redness/allergic reaction. My skin isn't very sensitive though. I didn't like two things. It was very drying, so I always had to moisturize. Also, the amount of time this skincare regimen took: 20-30 mins. Each kit lasted me about 3-4 months (with 2x daily use), so it was affordable. I would recommend using a minimal amount of the repairing lotion. A thin application on acne-prone areas is effective. I stopped using it because I want to try natural/organic skincare (tea tree oil) & I want to see if I don't suffer from my teen acne anymore (I hope). If nothing natural/organic works, I might go back to Proactiv.
