Pros:

Makes your skin feel soft for the first three day.

Cons:

Im in the stage right now where my skin is extremely dry and i have red patches all over my face with it feeling extremely itchy. My skin is peeling and its hard to apply makeup over it.

If you have sensitive skin like I do, definitely dont even give it the chance. The flakeyness and dryness is the product's biggest downfall i think. I feel the amount of Benzoyle Peroxide is a little too much for an average person to handle. Hopefully this redness and dry skin will go away soon!

not for sensetive skin and its too much trouble putin it on

Cons:

it doesn't work.

after using any product you can think of sold at rite aid(Neutrogena--scrubs, foams, gel cleansers, acne system; Clean and Clear--astringent, moisturizer; Clearasil--scrub), i decided to give Proactiv a try. so i call and then it arrives. after a while, my skin started peeling off. literally PEELING OFF!!!!. you want to believe the commercials and the adds but you can't. Proactiv ruined my freshmen year at high school. it was horrible. and now i have one entire new box sitting in my room. and im not going to use it..i gave up on my face a looong time ago. everybody's skin is different. just because Proactiv works for jessica simpson doesnt mean it's going to work for YOU!!

Pros:

It works well if you use it twice a day, everday. It makes my skin feel relatively smooth.

Cons:

If I skip one use then I usually breakout. After a few hours my skin will become oily again.

If you can use it day and knight, everyday then It would probably work for you. If your bad at keeping up with stuff like that then you might not want to try it.

Pros:

steps are easy to follow
the advertisements on television are appealing - easily fooling people!

Cons:

dried my skin so much that sometimes it was flaking.

it made my skin worse than before!
my acne is probably 10 times worse now thanks to proactiv.

don't buy it. i was so hopeful and it really dissapointed me. i also can't believe how computerised/photoshopped the celebrities they use in their ads are. seriously. i should of never swapped products i used to have pretty much clear skin but the only reason i swapped to proactiv was because i wanted to improve my oiliness

Pros:

It clears up skin pretty fast and reduces redness

Cons:

The repairing lotion feels oily, made my skin a bit red the first day

I've only used it for a few days and my acne is noticeably better. It made most of the redness go away. I've heard it may stop working...so I'm hoping that doesn't happen!

Pros:

It really helped clear up my blemishes, the booklet gives you AWESOME ideas and tips to help keep your face perfect, the refining mask is just 100% 'pro activ' :P

Cons:

The routine is tiring, and you notice blemishes come up twice as much even if you miss a day or 2 of the routine.

I am glad I got pro activ, it may not clear up every blemish, but it makes me look like a normal person with the occasional blemish. I wasn't expecting my skin to go 100% clear like alot of other people expect, but I am sure my skin will get even better. My skin reacted very nicely and the pro activ seemed to help me out alot!

Bleaches and acne comes back even worse once you stop using it

I gave this a shot for a year, but noticed that it was bleaching not only my towels, but also my skin and eyebrows! you can't miss a day with this stuff. it works, but once i stopped using it, my acne came back even worse so you basically have to use it for ever or until you feel confident that your skin won't get worse if you stop using it. also, i find the packaging embarrassing. couldn't they make it a little more discrete? i'm now using clinique (regular 3-step system) with BP that has an antibiotic in it and this works way better. still have problem with bleaching of materials, but not my skin or hair! face is a bit dry, but mostly clear...

Pros:

Leaves skin feeling soft and fresh

Cons:

Makes your face very red after usage (redness will fade after an hour or so, but this can be a pain in the morning when you have to be somewhere!). And its expensive.

My acne looked like it was clearing up...then after about 2 weeks I saw no more improvement and now (about 6-7 weekes of usage) I've begun to break out more. My face is dried out in some areas, and very red in the places I have pimples, which seem to be in even more abundance than before! And I'm getting worse acne (like big, very noticeable whiteheads) that I never had before. I wouldn't recommend this product on people with combination skin or to people with worse than mild acne.

Pros:

helps to clear up acne a little bit, when you start using this

Cons:

after few months it stops working and your acne seems to become worse than it was before.

it dried my skin, made it flacky. every time i used night lotion my face became red and was burning.hate the smell, which is absolutely awful! cleared up my skin a little bit, but then after couple of weeks it stopped working.
