Pros:

I have used Proactiv (and cheaper identical generic systems) for many years (about 10 years, with some breaks in between), and it certainly works for me. It clears my skin and keeps it mostly clear... when I use it properly.

Cons:

I need to use an additional cleanser to remove make up before using the Proactiv cleanser, then I need to use a moisturizer and a high SPF sunscreen after I apply the toner and treatment- this is too many steps for me, and it all takes a while to dry

I endure all the steps and the time it takes because it is really the only thing that's consistently worked for me. In the past, I have switched from Proactiv to a prescription topical treatment in an effort to cut down on time and the amount of steps; however, these treatments always lose thier effectiveness after about 7-8 months. If I get lazy and skip a step, I will break out. If I nap in the middle of the day (or on a plane- I travel frequently) and do not immediately go through the whole process of washing, waiting, toning, waiting, medicating, waiting, moisturizing, waiting, applying sunscreen, and waiting- then I will break out. Therefore, while I do recommend it, if you can control your acne with fewer steps, do it.

Pros:

controlled my acne for a while but never improved it.

Cons:

dried out my skin pretty bad. it was always flaky even though i put moisturizer like 6 times a day. My acne did not improve.

you have nothing to lose if you try it because it has money back guarantee but people i know that have used it say the same thing. it did not do much for them.

Pros:

None to speak of.

Cons:

Made my skin worse not better. I now just clean my face three times a day and use a product called Azelex.

Biggest waste of money ever and just made me hate my skin. Now I have my acne almost under control. It is not gone but as I've gotten older and grow out my beard it helps clear up my skin. If this works for you that's great but if you have super sensitive skin then don't waste your time.

Pros:

It actually works! their whole line get you results and blends together very well when using ,multiple products!

Cons:

They have too many to chose from, so one may get confused to what really works! ALso, they are a little overpriced in smaller bottles. but they are worth it!

I have used it for 6 years now and it has always worked! I started 6 years ago with the one most people know, the 3 step system! it worked immidiatley! I wou ld say in 2-3 weeks I saw a big enough clear up of everything going on. I kept using it for the next 3 years and NEVER has ONE breakout. Unfortunately I stopped using it for 2 years and suffered the consequences! After those 2 years I decided to give Neutrogena's SKIN ID a try(and that's a whole other review!) let's just say it DID NOT WORK! I am happily back to proactiv for almost 2 months now. This time I spent 200$ on pretty much everything they offer. IF anyone would like to read the individual reviews I will be doing so in each epcific category. I HAVE NOTICED IT TOOK LONGER THIS TIME TO WORK. The previous systems I tried last year made me break out for 3 months like I had never in my 25years! I am still trying to get rid of it. However, even though Proactiv has taken about 3-4 weeks this time to work. IT DOES!

Pros:

Feels nice and fresh

Cons:

makes skin dry, causes more pimple, acidic substance make skin reder and pimple more noticebale.

i absoulutly disliked proactive, its worse than cheep clean and clear produts.

Pros:

I have moderate acne and this product worked wonders for me. You have to use it at least twice a day at first to knock out the acne, but, after that I only use it once a day now. It never dried out my skin like other people have said it did.

Cons:

It doesn't knock out ALL of my pimples. Like another person said, I always have one or two pimples at all times. But, I'm satisfied and this is as good as it gets for me!

I was skeptical, but, this stuff really works! Ever since I've used Proactiv, I get a lot of comments about how "beautiful" I am now! I NEVER had that before. I personally think that a huge part of looking "beautiful" is having good skin, and this stuff does just that. It will make your skin look so much better. It will feel softer and smoother and the refining mask really does work overnight. You won't wake up pimple free the next day. But, it will definitely reduce inflammation and the pimple will be less noticable. I'm just so happy that I tried this product because it's done wonders for me. And, I definitely hope that the next person who reads this will give Proactiv a real try, because most likely you will be happy with the results. I consider myself a normal looking person, and my skin was not so great and Proactiv has changed all of that! So, the bottom line is that I love this stuff and it really works! If you do it consistently, you won't be disappointed!

Pros:

i used proactiv for 2 months and i didn't get any results

Cons:

only dry face and dry hands

my dream is to get rid of acne

Pros:

It makes your skin smooth and you feel refreshed. Also, my skin didn't feel dry at all.

Cons:

It made me have more pimples on my face and I woke up many mornings with huge red bumps on my forehead.

It doesn't work, I still have so many pimples on my face, if anything...Proactiv made my face worse. Don't use it!!

Pros:

Cleared my skin after 2 weeks! I also use the refining mask 3 times a week and the green tea moisturizer everyday. It really worked for me and iI was skeptical at first

Works great, best product I have ever used! The green tea moisturizer works really well and helps to rehydrate your face. I recommend to everyone to atleast try it once.

Cons:

The pirce..

It works okay...if you have acne that is active...like the red bumps it will take care of those. However, i wouldnt recommend for oily skin, because it does not clear up an oily nose...it will produce acne on the nose area even if you use an oil control lotion on top. Also the refining mask does dry the skin out...
