Pros:

There are no pros to this. Before I started using proactiv I had just a little acne, now I it's so much worse than before.

Cons:

It doesn't work.

This product must only be for famous people because it doesnt seem to work for anyone else. I only had acne in my t-zone and it really wasn't all that bad. Now, I have acne all over my face. I tried to talk to one of the sales people, but they told me to give it time. I did and it diddn't work. It made it worse.

Pros:

I have used Proactiv since my sophomore year of high school and am now a senior in college. I use all three steps twice a day and sometimes the mask at night. It works great- the few zits I get clear up soon and my skin tone has evened out.

Cons:

PROACTIV IS LIKE CRACK. One time my shipment didn't get here for like 2 weeks after I ran out and I had HORRIBLE skin, way worse than before I even started it. Running out of it is so bad, its like I have an addiction to it.

If you start using Proactiv and you find that it works for you- be prepared to keep buying and using it until you are to the age that you stop getting acne altogether.Unless you want to look like a teenager with really, really bad acne. It is blessing and a curse at the same time. When I use it consistently, I get compliments on how beautiful my complexion is but I know that if I stop my good skin will be out the window along with my self-image and confidence. Having skin that you are very confident about is not something that you can just be ok without once it is gone. That is why tomorrow I am going to drive 2 hours to a mall that has a Proactiv kiosk so I can get my hit of the Proactiv three steps. I ran out like 2 days ago. I pretty much worship Proactiv. So only use Proactiv if you are rich enough to afford it and buy backups for the next like ten years.

Pros:

Clears up acne, very soothing, smells fresh, shows results within 3 weeks (mask works VERY well)

Cons:

Bleaches towels, takes a while to apply, too expensive

I use the mask alot for big pimples and it clears them up really well though sometimes not. I hate using it cos it takes a while but its worth it those who dont make it work for them eitehr dont use it regularly enough or dont have the "right" skin for it.

Pros:

The mask leave ur skin feeling soft

Cons:

It didn't clear up my skin at all. It caused redness and the toner had an icky sticky feel. Felt like I was putting lemon juice on my face. The cleanser was too watery didn't remove all the oil and makeup.

By the end I ended up with tons of blemishes. Don't waste ur money.

Pros:

Incorrect use of proactive is what is causing your break outs/ flares/ flakeyness etc. NOTE= it may not smell any good. and may sting abit. BUT it WORKS thats what counts, right?

Cons:

INPROPER USE IS VITAL - will cause more flare ups, redness and more acne, drinking ALOT of water daily and taking vitamin and mineral supplements helps maintain overall well being and healthy beautiful skin. TRUST ME try it =]

needs to be used correctly. eg. when using the renewing cleanser, you wash it into your face for 2 minutes. time your self. because this is vital. withing the first minute its opening up your skin pores. to prepare for the cleansing of skin cells.impurities and oil. in the second minute it is removing all the unwanted oils. fat. dirt and dead skin cells. it may seem as if the creame has dissapeared withing a minute and a half or less. that is beacause it is in your pores. continue to scrub for 2 mins. then comes to the toner. pore a large amount onto cotton pad/ball wipe over entire face. so face looks wet. allow to dry COMPLETLY this opens ur pores for the active ingredient bezyol peroxide to work. once dry touch face should feel STIFF/DRY and uncomtable. this is cus all pores are open. then massage evenly amount of repair lotion until fully into skin. if needed apply sunscreen as UV rays increase ACNE! hope this helps for you all it has for me. just use <

Cons:

This product is very expensive and made my much worse.

this prouct is aweful. The products that are available from the company are all expensive. I used the product for over 3 months and all it did was made my acne way worse and made my entire face very uncomfortable. Then the company states that you can return the items and get a full refund, THAT'S NOT TRUE. When I sent the new months "non opened" bottles back stating that I was returning the new nonused proudcts back because it was making my acne worse they only refunded my $19.95 back when I paid $45.00 for the products. I wrote the company telling them that they refunded me the incorrect amount inwhich they stated that's what the return dept had in the computer so that's all that I was getting refunded back to me.

Pros:

It makes your skin clean, and clears up pimples pretty good. It makes your skin soft, and you don't have anymore blackheads after using it for 3-4 days.

Cons:

The cleanser is extremely gritty. It stings your skin and tears up whiteheads. It gave me a horrible allergic reaction. My eyes got puffy, and my skin was red and itchy for 2-3 days. That only happened because i used alittle too much, I think!

I only recommend this product if you have occasional pimples that are bigger. This product only helps if you have alot of smaller pimples also. I have a mix of medium, and smaller sized pimples. I really didn't give the product any time at all to work it's "magic". Anyway, this is the deal with what happened to me and my expierience with Proactiv. I used it for like a week and a few days and it made my pimples worse. My mom got me the trial size and when i was half way done with the bottles, (that were horrificly small!) I threw the product out. I decided I HATED Proactiv. Then, the product got shipped to my house again this month and I tried it again. I got a reaction as you all know... so I stopped using it for 3 days. It cleared up most of my skin before that horrific reaction! People don't understand that if a product doesn't work for someone, and they say that their product will... it really hurts. I makes you just want to give up all hope. But don't. Just try Proactiv and see!

Pros:

Slight improvement in my skin's texture

Cons:

Causes more pimples and darkens existing pimple marks. This product has ruined my skin for life!!!

This product sucks. I used to have only mild acne, especially around my period. Now I'm getting these huge pimples on my cheeks and even if i don't touch them they leave a mark. It also seems to have darkened all of my existing pimple marks. It dries my skin so much so that I'm actually peeling, and i have this combination of dry, flaky skin with the occassional oil-filled pimple...disgusting!!! I've used this product for 2 months and I can honestly say that my skin now is worse than before. I'm going back to live in the Middle East in December, which means I will be in the sun all the time. I have olive skin, and tan very well and I never burn, but I'm afraid after using this product (which I heard makes your skin sensitive to the sun) that I will get sunburnt, even with sunblock. And of course, that means that my marks will be darker than before. And I'm also worried (according to what I've read here), that if I stop using it i will break out even more than before. So I'm screwed...
