Pros:

Ends acne

Cons:

Small expensive portions

Best product I've ever used. I'm a 25 y.o. female who used to have severe large pimples on my chin. It was hideous. I've used stuff from department stores, the clean and clear line, Differin gel, benzoyl peroxide in all percentages - the list goes on and on. I finally forked over $75 to some girl at a kiosk in the mall and bought Proactiv. The change in the first 2 days was visible. I saw results right away. I had a little dryness on my face, but I used Clinique oil free moisture and it went away. When followed correctly by completing all steps twice a day, my acne really did disappear. I have no plan on buying any other product or spending more on prescription topicals. You should try it because they offer a money back guarantee.

Pros:

Works well if you stick to the 2 times a day usage

Cons:

It takes like 3 weeks to see how well it works.

If you use this product consistently twice a day it will work wonders. I like proactive!

Pros:

used consistently, it clears up skin very well and prevents future breakouts

Cons:

should be paired with a daily moisturizer to keep skin hydrated

I've had great results with Proactiv. It took several weeks to see a difference, but I use it very consistently, and my skin has been clear for about 8 mos. I've tried everything for the past 10 years or so...over the counter products, lots of expensive prescriptions from the derm, anything & everything. Some would work for a few months, but this is the only thing that has kept the acne away. I have moderate acne, sometimes cystic, which is soooo embarrasing. I've been reading a lot of the reviews, and see comments on the cost, drying of the skin, and the fact that you have to keep using it to keep skin clear. To me, a good product is worth the cost. Also, you should expect it dry your skin a little to keep skin clear...thats why you have acne, because of too much oil production! Just pair it with a good moisturizer. Lastly, of course you have to keep using it! If thats how to keep skin clear, then i"ll keep doing it. Everyone is different, but for me, its been worth every penny.

Pros:

Didn't give me any side effects. Smells alright.

Cons:

Expensive.

I used Proactiv everyday for over a year and it had no effect. It might work for some, but definitely not me.

Pros:

Makes skin feel very soft if you have green tea mouisturizer, Clears up acne a little

Cons:

Cleared up ALL of my acne when I received the 60 day free trial but when I bout the kit it didn't work anymore. All of my acne came back!...Skin will be dry without green tea mouisturizer, Isn't consistent, takes a long time to do this treatment

This is OK! Seems like the free trial did better than I actual kit! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless you have the time & the money to constantly buy this every couple of months. Not worth the money and isn't worth the media hype in my opinion

Pros:

Not as harsh as some other benzoyl peroxide medications, sulfur mask works really well, and overall improved my skin greatly

For only about $27/mo (get the smaller kit, it'll last a month if used properly), this is definitely worth a try. Go to the mall kiosks- much more convenient. I started getting really bad breakouts after going off birth control pills (big cystic acne that caused scarring as well as several whiteheads, blackheads... you name it). I tried a few different prescription medications (retina micro, duac, clindamycin topical gel) as well as a few different over the counter meds (w/benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid), but nothing else worked. I was ready to go back on the pill just to stop the acne if this didn't work!

Pros:

Makes my skin feel soft and smooth, Less Breakouts, Reduced Pore size.

Cons:

Still get a few pimples, but Hey, I'm a hormonal teenager, and those that I do get aren't as Large and Firey as before. Sometimes I run out of the Toner before my next shipment is due.

I was given Proactiv a few months ago, I'm Currently in a Theatre Production and the producers wanted me to get better skin. (This does mean they currently pay the bill, but I will be continuing after that finishes) My Acne wasn't terrible. I did however have alot of blackheads on and around my nose, very oily skin and I almost constantly had a large pimple under the skin of my Nose or Chin. Since using the product my skin has become less Oily, and softer, I no longer have and blackheads on my nose and I dont get as many large pimples. I do however still get pimples under my skin, but these only last 3 days at the most, dont break the surface of my skin and are almost colorless. It also Bleaches my skin and towels, meaning I no longer have freckles (not complaining!!) Proactiv works for me, It isn't a Miracle cure but it does make my skin Look and Feel better. I will continue using this product.

Pros:

Works well initially. Good smell. Leaves skin feeling refreshed and clean

Cons:

Slightly expensive. For me it only worked for a few weeks

It worked well for me for the first 4 or 5 weeks. Then my acne started to come back. I found that cycling off of it for a week then going back on it helps but then it takes another 2 weeks to start working again. For the price it isn't worth it.

Pros:

Started to work with 3-4 days. Keeps my skin clear with consistent use. The mask works great on occasional pimples--significantly clears them overnight; in 2 nights, they are usually gone.

Cons:

The daily cream dries the skin a bit, so I only use it every other day.

I have been using ProActive for 5 years. I heard about ProActive from my daughter's 30 something friend when we were planning her wedding. I thought, why not give it a try? When I ordered the intro kit, they made sure I knew that I would receive a full kit every couple of months unless I chose to cancel. I find I don't go thru the product in 2 months (forget some days, and don't use the daily cream everyday). It is not a problem to call and have a shipment either postponed or cancelled altogether (I've done both). I did have a shipment that didn't arrive, and when I called they quickly sent another shipment (at no charge). I have had no problems with this company and find them easy to deal with and can always talk to a live person in customer service.
