Rubbish
Rubbish! I've tried and tested this, used it religiously for 2 months and i had no results. My skin was oiler and that caused more breakouts! I'm now on the acne.org regimen, it's day 4 and already I see results!!!

Much Like Many a Lover....I Wanted to Believe.
Oh Proactive. I remember my mom loving Proactive when she was like 30 and I was 9. I should have understood then. I got my first zit in the 5th grade. By 8th grade it was so out of control my loving mother knew something like proactive wouldn't clear up what was happening to my skin so by 14 I was on my first round of accutane. Flash forward to 24 and I have two rounds of accutane behind me and one serious passion for skincare. Around 20 I started breaking out again. I didn't want to do accutane again though. I really didn't. Plus my breakouts were like average people breakouts. The kind everyone has that looks much worse in the mirror than it does in real life. So I started researching. I also fell in love with YOUTUBE. I moved to California from New England at 22 and my skin freaked out about it. Like oily all the time. And my already panicked skin was like really at its breaking point. So I was like you know what worked for LA based Adam Levine? PROACTIVE. Lets do that. So I did. Even though I was like really broke. Anyways, I bought proactive and was immediately in love with it like I am 99% of new products (or partners). However, the thing that I think really bums me out about Proactive is how drying it is. I think this is why it works so well for teenagers in high school but falls short for 22 year old me or my 30 year old mother back in the day. The benzoyl peroxide is dope though. Seriously, everyone knows BP runs town of Salcylic. But literally the pore targeting part of the second wave kit is the best part because the cleanser and moisturizer is just too harsh. Basically, this isn't a holy grail. We all want to believe Julianne Hough...but she's wrong. You can spend your money much more effectively. Seriously. Here is the best HOT TAKE I can give on this system: it's too drying. Even if it clears up your normal lightly spotted skin- it will damage the moisture of it. Additionally, if you do have wicked acne prone skin like me, yeah it will dry them out...but then dry you up, so you'll produce more oil...and break out. If Cassandra Bankson doesn't reccommend it...then I'm not into it. If you INSIST on using proactive, stick to that Benzoyl Peroxide Pore Targeting Treatment (it's number two in the kit). That stuff and a good moisturizer is truly fantastic.

super disappointed.
the only time i had EVER gotten breakouts was of course, that time of the month ... until i started using proactive, i figured at first that it was just cleaning my skin.. bringing the dirt to the surface and that was just the start of the product... it wasnt! i used this product religiously, and it continuously dried my skin out (especially my t-zone) AND the breakouts continued, it took a couple months to get my skin back on track (re-hydrated and to stop breaking out) i guess my skin just didn't react properly with this product, but it isn't something i would re-purchase. i spent a good 60 dollars on this and i'm super disappointed. the ONE product i liked, and only liked it because it was zapping the pimples away was the refining mask. that's something you could buy on it's own and it would work just fine. now back to the bad...the micro beads don't go into your skin and clean it out, it's almost like it glides over top.... like sandpaper. i believed to helped minimize the pimple but in the absolute wrong way! it seemed to be prone to give acne scarring because of the fact it wasn't getting rid of the pimple the proper way, just "sandpaper-ing" it away.

Blow over this and find another product.
I didn't have any breakouts until I used this. It is very strong and full of peroxide. It dried my skin when used as directed. It seems like a product that tries to make your skin addicted to using it, which is a losing battle I don't want to start. If you bought it and want to use, I suggest using less than what is recommended. I'm using smaller than a pea size, but I can feel a build of weird oils in my skin that I have never felt before and I developed bumps and broke out immediately after one use. This stuff is terrible.

I'm 48 and look like 38...thanks to Proactive
When my daughter started using Proactiv it cleared up her skin in only two days. She needed to use it less and less frequently over the next three years until she left for college which is when she stopped. When the new supply of proactive arrived in the mail I decided to use it instead of wasting it. I am 48 years old and my skin has never looked better. The people I work with at my new job all thought I was in my thirties. I love it! Also, I only use Proactiv 3 or 4 times a week and I never had a problem delaying a shipment for two or three months since I had plenty left.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH PROACTIVE!
A NO STAR RATING IF POSSIBLE! I PLACED A ONE TIME ORDER TO PROACTIVE AND PAID MY BILL VIA CREDIT CARD. IN THE NEXT FEW MONTHS I RECEIVED ANOTHER SHIPMENT THAT I DID NOT ORDER. WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION, PROACTIVE CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD FOR A PRODUCT I DID NOT WANT OR ORDER. I PROMPTLY RETURNED THEIR PRODUCT AND REQUESTED MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY TO REVERSE THE CHARGES THAT I DID NOT AUTHORIZE. AFTER SEVERAL MONTHS OF REPEATED UNAUTHORIZED CREDIT CARD CHARGES BY PROACTIVE, I EVENTUALLY HAD TO CANCEL MY CREDIT CARD TO ELIMINATE FUTURE UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES. 6 MONTHS LATER I CONTINUE TO RECEIVE BILLS FROM PROACTIVE THREATENING ME TO PAY MY BILL OR THEY WILL SEND MY ACCOUNT TO COLLECTIONS. PROACTIVE HAS UNSCRUPULIOUS BUSINESS PRACTICES. DO NOT GIVE PROACTIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER!

Pros:

It will completely dry out your skin.I used proactive for two weeks. My skin is still trying to recover . Dont count on money back guarantee.

Cons:

Do not trust this company. I bought a trial size in the last week of January .By the second week I was charged 49.68 and was being sent the actual size product.I also was charged for the vitamins 39.00 so once the two pagages were recieved they were returned back to the post office. I was refunded 26.00 dollars for the vitamins and was charged an extra 60.00 dollars . Proactive will not refund my money because I dont have proof of mailing(which I was not told I would need in order for a refund)

If you want to give your credit card information to a sleezy dishonest company please make sure u call procative. if you read more posts you will find that i am not the only person this happend to

Pros:

Not a single benefit

Cons:

Waste of money

These guys are BIG CHEATERS!!!! The product didnt work for me and gave a very bad rash on my skin. i had to undergo another treatment with a dermatologist to get rid of the rash. i returned those products with my own expenses and asked for a refund, but never got it back. Infact they kept charging me more for 3 consecutive months. i ended up paying $120 for just ordering the stupid trial version. The customer service is terrible.they are a bunch of crap to deal with. i kept calling them everyday for 3 weeks asking them to cancel my membership and not to send me any more products, and they immediately charged my credit card for the next month too. they dont provide an option online for cancelling the account. once u give them the details of your credit card, you are booked for a hundred dollars. These LOSERS SUCK big time.

Pros:

-makes skin feel fresh
-makes you feel refreshed
-not to hard to use

Cons:

-expensive
-time consuming
-doesnt work
-drys out skin after a while

I am 14. i have had breakouts since i was about 12 so i decided to use proactiv. i read all the instructions and read up on all the reviews and i was really excited for it to work. at first i thought it was working, but i took a picture before i started using proactiv, and compared to my skin now , it actually made my skin WORSE. my cheecks were clear, but now i have pimples on both checks. i stopped using it. clean&clear face wash and other good brands actually work a lot better.i wouldnt waste my money on this if i were you, but who knows it might work for you.also it dried out my sensitive skin after 2 weeks of using it not to bad. the refining mask smells horrible and dries. try it if you want, but my skin isnt even that bad and it didnt work.
