Pros:

hmmm...smooth skin. It cleans the dirt off my skin.

Cons:

It dries it to the point where it even looks like you have more wrinkles.

I tried to use it the first few times and I got an allergic reaction. Red face, itchy, burning feeling. Instead of the recommended use of 2 or 3 times a day, I started using it only once a day, but my skin just got dry. And wrinkles were more noticeble (yikes!) I had to discontinue it. I asked for my money back, and they gave me the Gentle Formula. That worked better. But it wasn't the miracle acne formula I had originally hoped for. -It's definitely not for everyone. -If its really drying, try using it less, and only target pimples. -As a last resort, I only highly recommend the "Gentle Formula".

Pros:

Makes skin very soft, helps with skin consistancy

Cons:

their acne formula is very over drying, works well for a little while but then causes redness, irritation, peeling, etc.

I do not have acne, but rather I get a few zits here and there every so often. I get greasy and red, though, and so I cancelled my proactive to switch to one of their other lines. I used Proactive's clear skin formula, which is for people like me whose acne is gone, but want to keep it that way. I reccommend usig their benozyl peroxide treatment to stop your acne, and once it is gone, switch to clear skin formula, it is milder and is to maintain clear skin, not to fight acne on skin that doesnt have acne any more.

Pros:

It clears up the acne right away

It worked for ME!!! For all those people out there who say it is crap and it didn't work for them, well every skin type is different, it worked for me but not for my sister cause we have DIFFERENT skin! ANd as far as the celebrities doing this for money or whatever, like they need the money! Why would they say a product worked for them and risk their reputation? Duh, think about it! After reading all these comments I ordered it anyway and I listened to everything that the customer service people said and they tell you they are gunna continue to send it every 60 days, so it is your own stupidity if you didn't listen! TRY IT!!!

Pros:

Gets rid of pimples. For those with oily skin, the daily moisturizer is the ONLY thing I have EVER used that really stops my face from being so oily at the end of the day.

Cons:

The facial cleaner doesnt clean that great, i guess thats what the astringent is supposed to do (2nd step). The 3rd step does burn a bit. The mask does not clear up pimples overnight as touted-- other clay-based face masks I've used do a lot better.

It worked. But it took approximately 2 months to begin seeing results. Pimples did significantly go away though.

Pros:

Clears skin, d'uh

Cons:

No option for larger bottles.

Customer service is actually great if you deal with them correctly. Club membership is a joke since you can have them ship it once a year if you'd like or everyday and you can suspend without cancelling indefinitely. I had a daughter and broke out ridiculously bad, within days i had clearer skin, my daughter is 7 now and i still use it. Best part is i can use other things on my face i couldn't use before, moisturizers and makeup and masks...miracle product. Tried prescription, otc treatments...you name it, this is the only thing that works and continues to prevent more. Here's a tip for everyone that experienced redness or dryness or itchiness from dryness MOISTURIZE!! C'mon ladies you drink water for your body you apply moisture on your skin head to toe daily. cost to benefit: no contest way worth the price.

Pros:

worked great on whiteheads and made my skin soft. Didn't dry my skin, but I have oily skin. Toner is great and doesn't burn, overall condition of my skin did improve.

Cons:

bleaches fabrics your face comes in contact with (pillowcases, tshirt necklines), doesn't work well to get rid of blackheads, cleanser is better as an exfoliant - doesn't remove makeup well.

It's a great product to try, but be careful about what fabrics your face comes into contact with. The repairing lotion can and will rub off and discolor fabrics, even when dry, but especially if you sweat. It took a while for the discoloration to appear, so I think it was a gradual process, but the fabric was permanently damaged (bleached) at that point. If the product dries your skin out, try using the lotion only every other day. I find it's still effective this way and reduces drying. Same with the cleanser, as it has the exfoliants, it can cause dryness and peeling with sensitive skin. The price is great, the products do last several months.

Pros:

My skin is clearer than it has been since i was a kid, not to mention how smooth it is and my pores are smaller.

Cons:

I can't think of any.

Proactiv started working within 2 weeks after I started using it. (I use it religiously ... never skip a morning or night treatment... c'mon, how hard is it to wash your face and slap a little toner & repair lotion on? Takes less than 2 min.) I buy a 3 pc. system every 7 weeks. I bought the blemish treatment at the beginning and haven't needed it since. I also use the sheer tint moisturizer ... something I could have never done before, as I needed something heavier to cover up. Their concealer works well and I love the loose powder. I only wish I had before pictures, I'd do a commercial lol

Pros:

makes your face look clean and fresh

Cons:

made more pimples come out and price is a little expensive for what you get

I started using it everyday and within a week, my face was more full of cysts and pimples than ever, and i mean really big ones!! I decided to weigh it out and give it some more time. Eventually after weeks of applying the 3 steps, I finally started to see them get smaller and go away. The thing is that now, I still get some smaller ones. One leaves and another one shows up. I really haven't had a problem with the dry skin, infact some mornings i wake up and my face is oily. I do agree that the product works for some people but I don't think it's as good as what it sells for. You have to really measure the amount you put on because if not, you won't have enough to cover you the whole month. I am some what unsatisfied with the product. I expected clearer skin than what i am getting. I thought that using it consistently like i have, would have given me clear skin or atleast not any new blemishes or pimples i mean isn't that what it is for? to avoid getting new breakout??
