Pros:

My daughter's skin is less red and more even-toned, and larger active acne is disappearing. Areas of scarring seem to be fading. Clinique's customer support is terriffic. I chatted with an online rep who encouraged us to continue even when the acne seemed to get worse. She was very helpful. Clinique guarantees their products.

Cons:

Very drying in the first week. Initial breakout around 10 days in. Broke out in areas that had never broken out before. It is a bit expensive.

My daughter is 14 and has moderate acne. Months of dermatologist appointments yielded us strong antibiotics and topicals (E-Mycin, Minocycline, Differin, Retin A, Tazorac). After 5 months of these things, my daughter's face was not any better than when we began treatment. In fact, it just seemed irritated and red. The dermatologist was pushing Isotretinoin even though my daughter's acne was not cystic or severe. We even registered with ipledge. I just could not put those chemicals into her 14-yr-old body. We discontinued those prescription products and are trying eliminating trigger foods from her diet, eating healthier, taking a multi-vitamin with extra Zinc and Omega supplements, and using this kit. It is making a difference. Started using it on July 15th and it was very drying at first. About 10 days in she had a HUGE breakout all over her cheeks. Usually she breaks out on her chin and around her mouth, and on her forehead, so cheek acne was unexpected. At the advice of a Clinique rep, we persisted with the kit, and now her skin is clearing beautifully. She uses the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel in addition to the Acne Solutions kit. I hope we see continuing improvement.

Pros:

Not to pricy (compared to other things I have tried)
Easily accessible
Clearing my acne

Cons:

Drying
Sometimes Irritation
3 step does not moisturize enough

I have been using this product for about 1.2 weeks straight and let me tell you, I am having the best results that I have not had in years. I will say that I love the soap. It does an amazing job of cleaning. The toner which is hit and miss for me really cleans out my oil and pores. The 3 step is something I am confused about. I find it does not moisturize enough. As a result, I bought the gel of the regular 3 step, which once again does not moisturize enough. However, the moisture surge does. However, sometimes I find that my skin is more red then other times (usually around that time of the month). But, some days my skin has no redness. I have tried 2 dermatologists and topical gels, expensive cleansers, moisturizers and antibotics and have not seen results like these. My only complaint is the toner will bother my skin one day and will be find the other day. As a result, I will continue to 0.00use this product as I believe it will clear my skin!

Pros:

Treats breakout well and stops future breakut from erupting.

Cons:

Benzol Peroxide found in moisturizer is abit too harsh for sensitive skin.

Basically Clinique 3-step system start with cleanse, tone and moisturize. The basic science behind Clinique 3-step is Exfoliation. Lead by one of the best dermatologist in America, Dr David Orentreich, believes that exfoliation is KEY to unclog pores to prevent build-up of dirt and bacteria, hence no more acne! Once exfoliation is done, the primary ingredients (Benzol Peroxide & Salicylic Acid) gushes into the pores to clean all the sh*t up! Next thing you know it... clear skin! Well the best thing about Clinique is totally hypoallegenic and fragrance free. The bad thing... perhaps the chemicals used are abit too harsh. I have tried many facial products over the past 2 years (Proactiv, Dr Murad, Malin & Goetz & many more) all failed to stop my breakout from occuring. However Clinique managed to put my breakups under control. I'ms glad I have found Clinique! I will 100% recommend this product to everyone who is seeking for a clearer, better and more youthful skin.

Pros:

Works well for mild-moderate acne

Cons:

Too harsh for sensitive/ post accutane skin

The three-step skin care works really well for mild to moderate acne but failed with me when my skin got severe. All of cliniques products work for sensitive skin and the moisturizer is oil-free and also fights the acne.

Pros:

-Cleared the majority of my acne
-Doesn't smell or contain unnecessary ingredients
-Gentle
-Don't have to use much

Cons:

- Slightly expensive
-Didn't clear all of my acne..
-You have to adjust the recommender regime to fit your skin.

I like the products. I have combination skin with pimples that used to pop up all over my forehead and cheeks. Since I started using the product (Almost a year ago) I have seen a major decrease in the large breakouts. I still get smaller pimples but when I use Clinique's spot treatment, they go away pretty quickly. I haven't gotten a big, ugly breakout since last summer :) I think a lot of people start using a product and expect it to work right away...that's not the case. You have to give the product time & use it in a way that works for you. I use the cleanser (1 pump) morning and night, the toner (I think it's called clarifying lotion) twice a day, and the moisturizer at night in the needed spots. I use the spot treatment when necessary. It's a little expensive, but it the best thing I've found so far.

Pros:

I really like this product.
The moisturizer really dried out my skin when I used it all over, so now I only use it on my trouble spots (my forehead). I have little to no pimples at all on the lower half of my face, so I only use the cleanser and a bit of toner.
The moisturizer dried me out so much I had to use a separate moisturizer (Cetaphil), which is a lifesaver. I am now waiting for future results!
My skin now feels soft and clean.

Cons:

I still have breakouts on my forehead and a little bit on my chin, but I'm going to continue using it for a few months to see any possible changes.

I definitely recommend it, although if you have combination skin, do not use the moisturizer all over your face. The cleanser is lovely, it makes my skin soft and doesn't dry me out at all. The toner is nice as well, I'm not sure what it's doing but I'm sure it's doing something! The moisturizer is great on my forehead, but NO WHERE ELSE.

Pros:

•It does clear up SOME acne in the first week.
•It's all in smaller sized bottles so it is easy to carry places.
•It is a great thing to buy if you are just going to try it because you spend LESS money than buying each of the items separately.
•If you get a blemish on your skin and it pops up it usually takes the blemish about a day or two to go away. (That is way faster than any other product I have Used.
•It doesn't make my skin red or irritated like other products.

Cons:

•It doesn't really help with stress acne.
•The Moisturizer comes out way too fast so every time I go to moisturize I always end up using too much.
•The cleanser doesn't take off all of your make up so I have to use use another product by clinique to get my make off.
•You have to use more off the cleanser then recommended.

I have only been using this product for about a week. I love it all. But it does not seem to help stress blemishes... It has cleared up the dried up acne that I have had on my forehead for about a year, now almost all of that is gone. I have only been using this for a short time so I will give it a while longer and then review it again. I would recommend this to anyone!

Pros:

Non scented
Doesn't require shipping
Very gentle
Not so much benzoyl peroxide
Works

Cons:

Pricey
Takes a few minutes to apply.

My sister recommended this to me, and I wish I took her advice sooner. After using it for a few days, people were already saying my skin looked better. I used proactiv, and while I saw results, the second I missed one day by accident my skin got these little red bumps everywhere. However I accidently missed a day with clinique and I still didn't break out. Clinique does one thing even better then proactiv. All the products in the kit are non-scented. The biggest downside would have to be the price. It costs about as much as proactiv, so if you're on a budget this isn't for you. Also, it does take about five minutes to apply everything which can be annoying if you're in a hurry to get somewhere. My final complaint would be the consistency of the clearing moisturizer. I was expecting it to be a gel like the one in proactiv but it's much more runny and sometimes dripped off my finger. Overall, the results are in the eye of the beholder, and my acne has improved. If you've never used benzoyl peroxide products before, then clinique might be a good place to start since it only has one gentle product with BP. If it doesn't work for you then try proactiv.
