Pros:

This really helped my acne, although I still have the occasional pimple.
Low fragrance.

Cons:

The moisterizer caused a red itchy rash, but I came to find out it was the benzoyl peroxide and that I'm allergic to it.
Can be drying, but many acne products are.

I really liked this system, but was dissapointed I couldn't use the moisterizer anymore because of the allergy I developed. I still use the facial wash and toner though. Make sure you use a good quality moisterizer. I like Neutrogena oil free for sensitive skin. If you develop a red, itchy rash, rinse your face with just water til it clears and try just using the face wash and toner. You may be allergic to benzoyl peroxide. Even if you've used benzoyl peroxide in the past, doesn't mean you can't develop the allergy, which is what happened to me. Also remember it takes up to 6 weeks to see if a product is actually working, zits can take a couple weeks to develop, so don't discount it after only a couple days. I reccommend you buy the trial size version if you can, it comes with about 6 wks worth of product.

Pros:

The new formulation works much better. Super soft skin. Only takes about 5 minutes start to finish. Purging has not been terrible. Skin is clearing.

Cons:

Does nothing for discoloration. It will dry you out if you use it everyday.

I used the older Clinique acne line and I was not pleased. When they launched the new line I was hesitant but I like everything else from them and I knew I could bring it back. The cleansing foam is not just a make-up remover like the old one. It leaves your skin feeling very soft. The clarifying lotion is very gentle and it has an oil absorbing powder in it so NO SHINE throughout the day which I think is a miracle. Then there is the clarifying moisturizer. I only use it at night or else it drys me out. I use the gel moisturizer by them during the day with Clinique clarifying foundation. There is a definite improvement in my skin even though I am still in the purging process. You can tell stuff is coming up and out but my skin is not unbearable.

Pros:

actually works
cleansing foam is so gentle
fast and effective

Cons:

price
bottle size

This product actually works. I have tried everything from proactive to prescribed pills and tablets to clean and clear. I have spent so much money on skin care and I have finally found something that works. I have been using it for a week and my big sore pimples are disappearing. The only problem is your skin does dry out but if you moisturise you'll have no problems. I would definitely recommend this product.

Pros:

Non drying and doesnt leave skin feeling oily
Definate reduction in no of pimples, redness and oilyness after a few days

Cons:

Slightly more expensive than lower end products such as clearisil. I always buy clinique when bonus time is on though as I use the free gifts so it doesnt seem so pricey then.
Not a miracle worker
Will not remove make up- I use clinique take the day off and another cleanser first and use this system on a clean make up free face.

I started using this one week ago. I have been using lots of different brands over the past 8 years for my acne such as neutrogena, simple, clearisil, clarins and none of them have worked. I have used the clinique 3 step system for normal skin in the past and that was ok but didnt make a difference. Anyway my friend told me good things about the blemish solutions range so I decided to give it ago. I saw a noticeable difference in my skin after a few days of using it....it has been less oily, has calmed some of the pimples and reduced some of the redness. Brands such as clearisil have made my skin flake in the past and red but this kit didnt make it red or dry at all. However, it hasnt worked miracles yet and I have still had a few new pimples appear but there is a definate difference. Im going to continue using it and I will be buying another set if it continues to work as well as it is doing now.

Pros:

Acne goes away fast :]

Cons:

I don't really see cons but there is a little of dryness

Some people doesn't read the directions, so they say that their eye lids or eyes are on fire or something;.. You are suppose to avoid the eyes area when applying this product. This product is good for the people who have acnes :]

Pros:

Every step of the system feels light, and it's easy to follow.

Cons:

Had to add an extra moisturizer some nights.

I have light/moderate acne on my forehead and extremely stubborn moderate acne on my cheek and jawline. I've been seeing a dermatologist since age 12, and I've been on two types of pills, 3 if you count The Pill, Ziana, Differen, Duac, and one other. None of these things cleared my acne. I've also tried ProActive, which tore up my face, and made it painful. Clinique Acne Solutions just feels *healthy* when I'm using it. I've already started noticing less inflammation and small pimples were gone overnight. The spots on my forehead are already on their way out (and it's only been two days!) I can't wait to see full results! P.S. I don't recommend this to people with light acne. It's probably just too much medication, esp. the Benzoyl Peroxide at 2.5%.

Pros:

It made my face bright and they replaced the moisturizer to the moisture surge one because my skin is very dry and it worked very well

Cons:

incredibly expensive for a student like me. I couldn't afford buying it in Japan as the price is twice as expensive.

It didn't work anymore after about 3 weeks

If you're super rich and do not mind that it'll only work for a period of time, use it. It's good. Otherwise, save your money and use baking soda instead. It does the same work.

Pros:

Clears up problem zones pretty well and quickly

Cons:

Doesn't fully clear up all acne

I never really had bad acne, just a few pimples here and there. When I got this system, it cleared up my T-Zone and forehead really quick, and now I never have more than a small pimple or two on my face. It's worth buying! The trick is to use other products with the system like spot clearing gel and face masks.

Pros:

Won't irritate your skin, and won't leave skin feeling 'tight' and dry and THEN oily! It won't irritate your allergies. I've got bad sinus allergies, but this was great! Easy to use; Lasts a long time.

Cons:

Slight medicine smell, goes away after 10 min. Wish the moisturizing toner came in a spill-proof bottle. It's kind of expensive, but IT WORKS and the amount you get lasts for a long time vs. a 30-day amount with other products that don't work.

Face washes usually left my skin feeling tight, then dry, then extremely oily. Also, some caused more breakouts due to fragrances or b/c it over-dried my skin. I had no reactions to this product, and after three weeks, my skin cleared up a good 90%, and is getting better! The slight medicine smell goes away after 10 min, don't be put off by it. I have tried Clearasil-over-dried causing more breakouts and shiny complexion, Clean & Clear-caused my skin to turn red and itchy, Noxema-didn't do anything, etc. and NOTHING has done as good of a job as Clinique. My skin tends to be oily, so I skip its moisturizing lotion and use a matting one instead, but if you have dry to combo skin, use it. It's pricey, but I bought my FULL SIZE kit on Ebay. It's worth the money, and I will stick with this for a long time.

Works extremely well!

Pros:

fast results

Cons:

dry skin

i bought the trial size almost two weeks ago and i love it! i started having acne in fourth grade and im currently in 8th grade (14 yr old). i have literally tried all kinds of acne products from clean and clear, neutrogena, and most recently mary kay. the first night i tried it i woke up with visibly clearer skin. as the days go by and as i use the product more, my skin gets a lot more better. the moisturiser is awesome i put it under my foundation which is the clinique acne solutions liquid makeup and it helps treat my skin all day. the only problem i have is that it does dry out your skin so i recommend using another moisturiser as well. i also use benzoyl peroxide to help clear my skin faster and it helps too!
