Pros:

Gentle
Works amazing
Hypoallergenic

Cons:

Little Pricey
Moisturizer dries out skin a bit

I've been using Clinique Acne Solutions for about a month now. All I can say is that I love it. I have dry and sensitive skin, and I can safely say that I have not experienced any irritation from this product. No, my acne hasn't cleared up all the way, but it has cleared my complexion up significantly. I've seen noticeable differences and I don't mind paying the price for something that works. The only drawback is the moisturizer. I tend to only use it on breakout spots (like my cheeks). The bottom line is to try it! I'm sure you'll love the results.

Pros:

Works well for mild-moderate acne

Cons:

Too harsh for sensitive/ post accutane skin

The three-step skin care works really well for mild to moderate acne but failed with me when my skin got severe. All of cliniques products work for sensitive skin and the moisturizer is oil-free and also fights the acne.

Pros:

-Cleared the majority of my acne
-Doesn't smell or contain unnecessary ingredients
-Gentle
-Don't have to use much

Cons:

- Slightly expensive
-Didn't clear all of my acne..
-You have to adjust the recommender regime to fit your skin.

I like the products. I have combination skin with pimples that used to pop up all over my forehead and cheeks. Since I started using the product (Almost a year ago) I have seen a major decrease in the large breakouts. I still get smaller pimples but when I use Clinique's spot treatment, they go away pretty quickly. I haven't gotten a big, ugly breakout since last summer :) I think a lot of people start using a product and expect it to work right away...that's not the case. You have to give the product time & use it in a way that works for you. I use the cleanser (1 pump) morning and night, the toner (I think it's called clarifying lotion) twice a day, and the moisturizer at night in the needed spots. I use the spot treatment when necessary. It's a little expensive, but it the best thing I've found so far.

Pros:

Non scented
Doesn't require shipping
Very gentle
Not so much benzoyl peroxide
Works

Cons:

Pricey
Takes a few minutes to apply.

My sister recommended this to me, and I wish I took her advice sooner. After using it for a few days, people were already saying my skin looked better. I used proactiv, and while I saw results, the second I missed one day by accident my skin got these little red bumps everywhere. However I accidently missed a day with clinique and I still didn't break out. Clinique does one thing even better then proactiv. All the products in the kit are non-scented. The biggest downside would have to be the price. It costs about as much as proactiv, so if you're on a budget this isn't for you. Also, it does take about five minutes to apply everything which can be annoying if you're in a hurry to get somewhere. My final complaint would be the consistency of the clearing moisturizer. I was expecting it to be a gel like the one in proactiv but it's much more runny and sometimes dripped off my finger. Overall, the results are in the eye of the beholder, and my acne has improved. If you've never used benzoyl peroxide products before, then clinique might be a good place to start since it only has one gentle product with BP. If it doesn't work for you then try proactiv.

Pros:

Cleared up my skin right away! I don't usually have acne problems, but with all the traveling I'd been doing I was having a major break out. Worked in only a few days.

Cons:

Skin was a bit dry, but it wasn't very bad at all. You have to use more of the first step than they recommend for it to work.

I used the three step system in conjunction with their oil control cleansing mask. Fantastic results! Great for people with moderate acne.

Pros:

It's unscented so there isn't anything to clog your pores, it makes my skin feel really soft, and it's helping with acne

Cons:

it's a little drying so i recommend using a different oil-free moisturizer with it, still in the purging process

I really like Clinique's 3-step acne soltions skin regimen(the starter kit should last about 4 weeks.) I use the cleansing foam twice a day( and i LOVE it-it makes my skin feel so soft and nice!), and I use the clarifying lotion and clearing moisturizer once a day. The clarifying lotion is more like a toner and will dry your skin out, so i only use it where my skin is oily and breaks out. Same with the clearing moisturizer. In the mornings I use an oil-free moisturizer all over, at night just on my cheeks and chin. This skin care regimen has cleared most of my existing acne, and it's still bringing up everything underneath my skin, but it's about done - i've used if for almost 3 weeks.

Pros:

Evened out skin tone quickly, and reduced redness. This product also cleared up my lingering pimples within 2 days

Cons:

I have sensitive skin and this product made my eyes swell and have dry hives under them. However I am now very cautious to keep the product away from eye lids and under eyes. The swelling and hives are going down.

I would recommend this product. Just beware if you have sensitive skin bc it is drying.

Pros:

Works well
Leaves skin feeling soft
Prevents new blemishes
Fades past blemish scars
Allergy tested and 100% fragrance free.

Cons:

Moisturiser brings clogged pores into whiteheads.

After trying the sample kit for about a month and a half, i was sure it was slowly clearing my mild acne up. So i then purchased the full sized products. I used it twice a day daily and it didn't dry my skin out or cause me to break out more. I found the foam cleanser mediocre - it was nothing special but I found the clarifying lotion and the moisturiser most effective to clearing my skin up. The only thing that i wasn't sure about was that the moisturiser made clogged pores into whiteheads - i don't know if thats a good thing or not, does it make the blemish heal faster or what? Also the kit slowly began to fade past blemish scarring (minor). They became less noticeable. Overall i found the kit very effective and it wasn't over priced either. highly recommended! I love you clinique!

Pros:

Works Quickly

Cons:

Dries Skin Out

Clinique Acne Solutions works amazing, but it definitely dries skin out. I spoke to a woman at the Clinique counter at Macy's and she told me to replace Step 3 (Acne Solutions Clearing Moisturizer) with Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion. But this is only recommended for people who get moderate breakouts. I only break out when I have midterms and finals or when I have my period. Other than that, I'm likely to have about one teeny-tiny pimple. Other than that, I say wait out the "drying-period" and after about a couple of months, Acne Solutions stops drying out your skin as much. Make sure you put on plently of SPF, because Acne Solutions makes it more likely for you to get a sun or wind burn.

Pros:

•It does clear up SOME acne in the first week.
•It's all in smaller sized bottles so it is easy to carry places.
•It is a great thing to buy if you are just going to try it because you spend LESS money than buying each of the items separately.
•If you get a blemish on your skin and it pops up it usually takes the blemish about a day or two to go away. (That is way faster than any other product I have Used.
•It doesn't make my skin red or irritated like other products.

Cons:

•It doesn't really help with stress acne.
•The Moisturizer comes out way too fast so every time I go to moisturize I always end up using too much.
•The cleanser doesn't take off all of your make up so I have to use use another product by clinique to get my make off.
•You have to use more off the cleanser then recommended.

I have only been using this product for about a week. I love it all. But it does not seem to help stress blemishes... It has cleared up the dried up acne that I have had on my forehead for about a year, now almost all of that is gone. I have only been using this for a short time so I will give it a while longer and then review it again. I would recommend this to anyone!
