Pros:

love the gel spot treatment ans basically the whole line!!!

Cons:

mostly none! but somtetimes i wake up with some SMALL whiteheads that i have to pop but they never get inflamed or anything.

i used soooo many different acne lines and they just didnt work nearly as well or as quickly as clinique does.

Pros:

Less Oily

Cons:

Acne still hanging around

Of all the products that I have used (and its been a lot) I like this line from Clinique. I have oily skin and using this product line I do not experience the oily skin like I did before. I have not experienced any drying. If you can afford it I would recommend it. Its great! Course what works for one individual will not necessarily work for other. Best of luck!

Pros:

Nice packaging.

Cons:

Made my skin break out, EVEN WORSE, even after 2 weeks. Made skin dry, irritated some, very expensive.

Go for something stronger, and less expensive.

Pros:

Pretty packaging lol, Nice foamy wash,Easy to use, Keeps excessive oil under control.

Cons:

Made skin feel extremely tight and dry, the smell gets annoying, did not help my acne very much. Expensive...

I have been using the Acne Solutions Foaming Wash, medicated toner, & medicated moisturizer. I started out twice a day like they say to but it OVERDRIED my face so badly. I literally couldn't smile or talk after using it for a while because my face felt soo tight, it would crack and get flaky. I reduced to once every other day but it still gives a tight feeling after each use. I am really disappointed and so is my mom because she had a lot of hope in Clinique because its her favorite brand. There's just too much harsh stuff going on because everything is medicated...BUT the spot treatment is my favorite. It works well, some pimples are reduced in size overnight and thats the only thing I liked from this system.

Pros:

If used correctly it clears up blemishes
smooths skin
and reduces redness

Cons:

If you use too much of the moisturizer it will dry up your face.
You only need a VERY LITTLE bit. I also use Clinique dramatically different moisturizer as fourth step.
You have to use it religiously about the same time every morning and nig

I used mineral makeup and discovered I was not only allergic to talc but I'm also allergic to mica. So the mineral makeup made me break out horribly. I don't have bad acne maybe a pimple or two on my nose or forehead but the mineral makeup (Everyday Minerals) caused me to break out on my cheeks, chin, and sides of my face. I had so many pimples I lost count. I tried using my normal regiment of the Clinique 3 step but my face would not clear up. I decided to go back to the acne solutions. In three days my face was 50% better. Now about 6 days later my face is almost entirely cleared up. I also started using a product from Kohls called Lumicen. I stopped using that too around the time I broke out because I ran out of it. It is a little pricey but it eliminates my blackheads, keeps my skin from becoming over dried by the third step, and helps keep my skin clear. I alternate it with the Clinique dramatically different moisturizer as a fourth step.

Pros:

It works!

Cons:

I also purchased the Moisture Surge to combat any anticipated drying.

My skin looks better than it ever has. I've had acne for almost 20 years and I've tried a lot of different products. This one, by far, is the best for me.

Pros:

Keep the receipt and you can get your hard earned money back.

Cons:

Way too drying. Did not work at all for me.

I've struggled with cystic acne since 11 and I'm 29 now. I originally went to the Clinique counter to buy a stronger moisturizer because my acne gets so dried out that it cracks and sometimes bleeds after I wash my face or smile. I used the 3 Step System for 6 weeks. Like any new acne product, I expected a bigger breakout for the first week. It never got better and actually I've had the same pimple since I started using it. I should have known when I read the toner is mostly alcohol but I thought the moisturizer would make up for it. Wrong. Tonight I started Murad 5 Step System. Already my face doesn't feel as dry compared to Clinique. The 7 Day scrub worked great the first week but stopped after that.

Pros:

Both cleanser and moisturizer are mild and have a nice consistency as well as a gentle scent.

Cons:

Toner is 90% alcohol. While it may have a good wham-bam effect on acne, it will hurt your skin in the long-run. Moisturizer is a bit weak to combat with the dryness so you will probably have to get a stronger one.

My sister had purchased this last year, and being the sneaky thief I am, I used it as well. Both of us agreed that it was a decent system but definitely did nothing for our skins. The toner felt nice and tingly, but I felt uncomfortable putting so much alcohol on my skin. I noticed that after I had gotten off of the system the skin between my eyebrows became incredibly dry and flaky, and I had some breakouts along my eyebrows. The price definitely outweighs the results in my opinion.

Pros:

*Clinique is a reputable brand and makes quality skincare products--this line is no different. The cleanser isn't too drying and leaves skin feeling fresh. The toner stings a little, but really does help keep oily skin under control.

Cons:

*The included moisturizer is drying, as it contains benzoyl peroxide. You may want to use a different one during the day (Clinique makes a great oil-free one) and save this one for nighttime use.

I recently went off the Pill, and my skin has been going crazy trying to adjust. I broke out on my chin and on the side of my face, mostly smaller pimples, but two deeper (blind) pimples popped up, as well. I bought this Clinique set on a Sunday, used it as soon as I got it home, and by later that evening, I could already tell that the smaller pimples on my chin were drying up. After using the products again on Monday, the pimples continued to shrink and dry up, although my face began to feel REALLY tight and get a little flaky. I decided to only use the included moisturizer in the evening and use my Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel instead in the morning to control the dryness and flakiness. That seemed to help immensely with the tight, dry feeling. Now, it's been over a week, and my skin is almost completely clear. The two deeper cyst-type pimples I have are a LOT smaller and starting to fade away too. So far, these products are working really well for me :)
