Pros:

+ Everything you need in one package
+ Light smell
+ Matte finish moisturizer
+ Clears and heals!

Cons:

- A bit overdrying
- Too little product for the price (still worth it!)
- Won't cure root cause of acne

I've had moderate acne for most of my adult life, and I found this product about a year ago, I have tried other brands, but always come back to this one. These are small versions of larger products, I wouldn't recommend for daily usage but maybe two or three times a week, it might dry up your skin too much. Last moth a tried Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Trifix lotion with horrible results, I broke up like I hadn't in years, after a couple of weeks of that, I stopped and immediately returned to Clinique's system, I won't be making the same mistake again. Like suggested in acne.org, I sometimes use the wash as shaving cream and the lotion as aftershave, the moisturizer is good, but it's more like cream, so I still use another more potent moisturizer on top of it (Action by Anthony Logistics), this combo is working great. So in conclusion, A++ products, highly recommended!

this stuff is amazing! i tried the regular clinique 3-step system, and it didnt' work. after reading reviews, i decided to give this a shot, and thank god i did! in just a week, my acne was completely cleared up, and i only get the occasional blemish. also, despite what i had heard, it doesn't dry out my skin. definitely try this out!

Pros:

Gets rid off spots and oil!

Dries skin out at first, doesnt remove make up properly

This stuff is brilliant. I've had acne since I was a teenager, I'm now 30 and still had break outs even more than I did when I was younger! I've tried everything, acnicare, prescripted topical lotions etc etc but nothing worked...until I tried this! The first few days is hell tho as it really dried your skin out and makes it tight and flaky (not a good look!) but your skin gets used to it pretty quickly. I use a different cleanser to get rid off make up first (the cleanser wont do this alone), then use the 3 steps. U can't skip one step or it won't work! If your skin gets too dry, use another moisturiser in between treatments. This definitely works...my skin is sooo much better. I just wish I had tried this sooner! In my opinion it is cheap ( £43 for all 3) for clearing your face and getting your confidence back! I have spent soooo much more on other products that never worked. (You can also buy them as a travel kit..maybe worth doing just to try them out)

Pros:

Makes your skin feel tighter
Really good for bacne

Cons:

Irritates skin
Drys out skin

I've used the whole kit for about 6 weeks. The first two weeks it seemed to be working. But then my acne started getting worse. A lot. More people started noticing it than ever before. The pimples on my forehead were a lot more red. It did make my skin feel tight but my acne was still there. However, i used the 2nd and 3rd step on my back, and it worked really really good !

Pros:

then getting pimple, after pimple and pimple again
make the skin so dry especially at the edge of lips

did not work for me at all. i really regret bought this. the salesgirl said the acne appears and appears because of purging effect. then, i wait and wait till 6 months, there was no improvement of disappearing acne and scars. so i started to quit use this 3 step anti blemish solution. i'm back using loreal white perfect facial cleanser and just use clinique compact powder for make up. no foundation because my skin is sensitive to foundation. i also take vitamin E and vitamin C from Shaklee for the internal treatment for my skin. now, i feel much better.

Drying

I have oily, sensitive skin & have been breaking out from almost every skin care product I tried. My mother actually called me & told me to try this out, & I thought "I doubt it's going to work, but I'll give it a try." Within a week, my acne cleared up. I mean, that's fast. I was so happy. The only problem I had was that it was so drying, to the point where my face felt stiff. It says to continue using it even after your acne is gone, to prevent acne, but I don't think I will. I just hope my acne doesn't come back after I stop using this kit.

Pros:

Works wonders for the first 2 weeks
Easy to use
Doesn't burn/peel/dry out skin

Cons:

After 2 weeks it stopped working and I am back where I started
The lotion is very irritating when you have any inflammation
Costly

It does work but it doesn't last unfortunatly, I am waiting till it runs out then moving on to a new product.

Pros:

Not too pricey (compared to Proactiv and some of the more recognized products)
Long-lasting
Makes skin feel fresh

Doesn't wash off makeup

I bought Clinique because it was recommended by several friends who also have acne. I am using several things and it has only been ONE week and I have noticed improvements in my skin overall. If I am wearing make-up: Remove it with Cetaphil Use the three step system Moisturize with Ponds Clarant B (redness remover) I am also taking DIM supplements because I already know my acne is due to imbalanced hormones (tested by my doc) and I didn't want to take birth control so I tried some natural alternatives to balance the hormones. It could be a combination of everything but my face does feel healthier and although I broke out slightly in the first couple of days, everything looks like it's healing and I don't have new breakouts. Clinique doesn't smell fancy, but hey- it's medicine. My skin is pretty tough so it doesn't burn at all for me, but it is drying so I always use a moisturizer after. Also- after a week's use, it looks like I barely put a dent into the amount, so I think this will easily last me two months if not more.

This stuff just smelled awful and dried out my skin . It really did nothing for my acne!

Well all i can say is that I'm disappointed in Clinique. I was so down in the dumps about my acne and i spent A LOT of money on all of this for nothing . I really used it all unti it was finished, I gave it a good 2 months chance with no result at all .It smelled bad too ... soooo bad. I could have bought a bar of dove soap (would have smelled way better) and expected it to clear my face. I guess thinking something is better just because its expensive was not true in this case.

Pros:

- cleared some of my acne

Cons:

- very expensive for not much product
- very drying
- still experienced breakouts

I just used the moisturizer for the 2.5% benzoyl peroxide. It definitely was NOT moisturizing, but it made a noticeable difference with my acne. It's way more economical and effective just to use a separate BP and moisturizer, though.
