Pros:

n/a

Cons:

Didn't Work at all

Ive been using the acne solutions for almost 6 weeks now and my skin has not improved one bit. I am constantly getting huge pimples on the side of my face which is most likely caused by hormones. I think this system is really only ment for those lucky people that have very light acne. I will be going back onto antibiotics as they gave me great results.

Pros:

Clearing Acne Very Well
Easy 3 Step System
Clean Fresh Scent

Cons:

Step 3 is drying
Step 2 causes minor burning

I've recenty had awful, awful breakouts. I've tried proactiv, neutrogena acne solutions, and other acne products. This one is by far my favorite. It immediatly reduced redness and inflammation and over the time period of a couple of days has really cleared me up. Step 3 is drying but the Clinique Type 3 moisturizing gel will help that without clogging pores. Step 2 burns a little bit but my skin has always reacted that way to toners.

Pros:

packaging

Cons:

it did horrible thing to my skin

After the first time I used it my skin was feeling like a desert. I stopped using but my skin is still sooo dry. It covered with red spots and feels itchy. :((

Pros:

doesn't irritate skin, nice fragrance, easy to get ahold of some

Cons:

didn't neccessarily make my skin much better, and step 3 dries skin

I have used clinique products for about a year and though i don't have a lot of acne, i didn't start with a lot of acne. I didn't see a dramatic difference, it keeps the skin clean though. I'd recommend this to people who have light or very light acne because i had moderate but it didn't get rid of all the acne. I'm kinda iffy on this stuff. I'm changing my acne product to eXposed and i'll write a review and hopefully it'll work!

Pros:

Skin was less red, less inflamed, acne marks fading, skin brighter, pimples smaller

Cons:

It is a little dry, and it being winter might have something to do with that, but nothing a moisturizer can't fix.

I've used Proactiv as well as other acne programs before, they either left a film on my face that caused more acne or dried my face out too much, forcing my skin to create oil and cause more acne. After one evening of doing Clinique's three steps, my skin was far less red, it reduced some acne marks, and my pimples were smaller. On day three, my skin is nearly perfect. I will take the advice of another user and purchase Clinique's moisturizing gel, as my skin is a little dry, but not nearly the way it was before when using other products. I use it in the morning and night. Some say it is a bad thing that you must use it frequently, but it is only natural that in order to maintain clean, healthy skin, you wash it twice a day (morning and night). It is a very simple process, you just have to have self discipline. 3 minutes is not a long time to dedicate to something important, your hygiene and appearance. Definitely worth the price, as well.

Pros:

Reduces Pimples!!!!!

Cons:

Does not Reduce Scaring

Its the only product that has ever worked. But scars freakin suck and I still get a few pimples but I use Liquimat and they are gone! I have to use another motorizer becuase my skin is very dry.

Pros:

Reduces Redness, inflammation, and given a few weeks, will really make your acne problem a lot less severe.

Cons:

It is expensive, and its part of a 3 step solution. That being the cleansing foam, the lotion, and mosituriser.

It is sort of expensive but worth it. After about 2 weeks and a few days I am noticing a 60% or so improvement on my acne. Redness has went down, red marks are fading and generally my face doesnt look as bad. If you can afford this go for it. All 3 steps work together well but I think the final step, the clearing mositurizer is the key here. It contains the ingredients which will heal acne such as salacylic acid (or however u spell it). Step 2 smells like alcohol, but its not too bad. Step 1 the foam is pleasant to use. Nice odour etc. It does leave my face feeling a little tight after I've used all 3 steps but the pros outweigh the cons. I do reccomend this to acne sufferers.

Pros:

The 3 step and the makeup line are amazing. I have never found anything that compares!..

Cons:

This product is well worth the price but I can't afford it all the time so when I run out, I get frustrated because my skin goes right back and I break out..

It works!! I am turning 30 next week and unfortunately it seems as though my acne has only gotten worse over the years. I have tried meds from dr's, birth control, proactive, murad and everything you can imagine from the grocery store and drug store. Nothing else works to get rid of the large bumps and redness like this does and it doesnt feel greasy. That is a big thing for me. Everything else feels gross on my skin. This totally evens everything out and my skin is smoother When I use these products I gain some confidence back. I dont have to be so worried when I go out to the store or if I am walking around the house on the weekend with no makeup! The make up (corrector stick is awesome!) covers any sort of redness and dries up break outs in one or two days. Now if I could only get a truck load of this stuff sent to my house I would use it forever. It is the only thing I am asking for for Christmas and my birthday. :)

Pros:

cheap, easy to use, no fragance, doesnt dry out skin

Cons:

gave me cystic acne, which i've never gotten before until now

i've tried everything, and once i started using this product i thought things were looking up. my skin looked perfect for about 1 and a half weeks. now i have cystic acne (the big red pimples that hurt). i've never gotten this type of acne until i started to use this product.
November 2, 2008

Pros:

I've been using hte clinique 3-step program for 2 years and just recently switched to the acne solutions kind. I switched 3 days ago and I have yet to see a new pimple sprout up since starting. My skin also feels super soft!

Cons:

The Step-3 lotion can be drying so I recommend using the dramatically different GEL on top on any dry/tight areas

It works! People also think Clinique is so expensive but really is isn't when you consider how well it work and how long it lasts!!! I bought a $15 bar of the face soap and I've had it for over two years...and I use it twice a day! Right now you can get all three steps of the acne solutions in a kit for $42 which I think is completely reasonable. Clean and Clear and all that kind of stuff may be less expensive but it doesn't last and long and it isn't as effective.
