Pros:

Smooths Skin, Nice Packaging, Foaming Cleanser Feels Clean, Reduces Redness and Prevents Inflamation

Cons:

None

I bought this product a week ago, (only the cleanser), and I started noticing results immediately! My skin is 100 x's smoother, softer, and clearer. My "stubborn" pimples are almost completely gone. And it's only been one week! Amazing product. The Clinique representative that sold me the product gave me a sample of the moisturizer. I've been using my own astringent with these products. For those of you who say the three-step makes your skin too tight, try using the Biore brand astringent. It literally refreshes your skin, while letting your pores breathe. Amazing results, guaranteed. =) PS- I use the cleanser, toner, and moisturizer in the morning, and only the cleanser at night. Hope it works for you!

Pros:

Nice packaging.

Cons:

Made my skin break out, EVEN WORSE, even after 2 weeks. Made skin dry, irritated some, very expensive.

Go for something stronger, and less expensive.

Pros:

Pretty packaging lol, Nice foamy wash,Easy to use, Keeps excessive oil under control.

Cons:

Made skin feel extremely tight and dry, the smell gets annoying, did not help my acne very much. Expensive...

I have been using the Acne Solutions Foaming Wash, medicated toner, & medicated moisturizer. I started out twice a day like they say to but it OVERDRIED my face so badly. I literally couldn't smile or talk after using it for a while because my face felt soo tight, it would crack and get flaky. I reduced to once every other day but it still gives a tight feeling after each use. I am really disappointed and so is my mom because she had a lot of hope in Clinique because its her favorite brand. There's just too much harsh stuff going on because everything is medicated...BUT the spot treatment is my favorite. It works well, some pimples are reduced in size overnight and thats the only thing I liked from this system.

Pros:

Just worked! I was on stuff from my dermatologist which had almost cleared up my skin but I still wasn't happy. Switched to the entire 3 step line of Clinique's Acne solution and my skin cleared up and the quality and look of my skin improved greatly

Cons:

Drying, but I used Aveeno's daily moisturizer on top and it wasn't a problem. Pricey, but worth it.

I made the mistake of going off of Clinique's line to Carley's Clear and Smooth (saw the reviews here and it was cheaper). Carley's literally clogged every pore of my face and I broke out terribly. When it comes to Clinique, the price is really 100% worth the quality that you get in return. My skin is smooth, soft, and almost completely blemish free. You really can't go wrong with Clinique. The starter kit is $30.00 and has a great return policy.

Pros:

The cleanser feels great on my skin and the toner is gentle and doesn't dry out my skin. The spot healing gel works wonders!

Cons:

None

This is a fabulous product. The moisturizer is unnecessary I purchased this product at Nordstrom and the woman who sold it to me told me the moisturizer was not necessary, and she was correct. It is slightly pricey but I highly recommend it considering all the acne products I have tried. In all honesty this product is great but pricey, if you can not afford it proactiv is about half the price, many people say bad things about it but when i used it, it worked well in my opinion I just don't like the roughness of the cleanser making me switch to Clinique.

Pros:

Every step of the system feels light, and it's easy to follow.

Cons:

Had to add an extra moisturizer some nights.

I have light/moderate acne on my forehead and extremely stubborn moderate acne on my cheek and jawline. I've been seeing a dermatologist since age 12, and I've been on two types of pills, 3 if you count The Pill, Ziana, Differen, Duac, and one other. None of these things cleared my acne. I've also tried ProActive, which tore up my face, and made it painful. Clinique Acne Solutions just feels *healthy* when I'm using it. I've already started noticing less inflammation and small pimples were gone overnight. The spots on my forehead are already on their way out (and it's only been two days!) I can't wait to see full results! P.S. I don't recommend this to people with light acne. It's probably just too much medication, esp. the Benzoyl Peroxide at 2.5%.

Pros:

It makes your skin VERY smooth. It also made my acne appear less harsh.

Cons:

Doesn't really prevent zits. Chocolate is my poison when it comes to my face and it didn't prevent them.

Like all acne products, it depends on the person and how often you use them. I've been on mine for about 3 weeks and I've been bad and get lazy and won't wash my face for 2 days or so. But I think if you keep using it religiously I think you will have good results. I've tried other ones and this regimen seems to be working the best for me. I wish people would take that into consideration. That not all acne products work for everyone.

Pros:

If used correctly it clears up blemishes
smooths skin
and reduces redness

Cons:

If you use too much of the moisturizer it will dry up your face.
You only need a VERY LITTLE bit. I also use Clinique dramatically different moisturizer as fourth step.
You have to use it religiously about the same time every morning and nig

I used mineral makeup and discovered I was not only allergic to talc but I'm also allergic to mica. So the mineral makeup made me break out horribly. I don't have bad acne maybe a pimple or two on my nose or forehead but the mineral makeup (Everyday Minerals) caused me to break out on my cheeks, chin, and sides of my face. I had so many pimples I lost count. I tried using my normal regiment of the Clinique 3 step but my face would not clear up. I decided to go back to the acne solutions. In three days my face was 50% better. Now about 6 days later my face is almost entirely cleared up. I also started using a product from Kohls called Lumicen. I stopped using that too around the time I broke out because I ran out of it. It is a little pricey but it eliminates my blackheads, keeps my skin from becoming over dried by the third step, and helps keep my skin clear. I alternate it with the Clinique dramatically different moisturizer as a fourth step.

Pros:

My skin feels very smooth. It is not abrasive (like Proactiv).

Cons:

My skin did break out really badly for about the first week of use, but all of those zits have since gone away. So I would advise using it for a couple of weeks before giving up.

I started using it about 2.5 weeks ago. Before I had been using Proactiv which was ok (I still got pimples but my skin didn't look too bad). Then I stopped and used something else that didn't work. My skin was looking bad. So I decided to try Clinique. The first day after using it my skin looked better. Then for about a week my skin looked A LOT worse. I didn't even want to look in the mirror. I had about 15 little white zits on my chin, and, well, everywhere. I heard that skin does get worse when you first start using something, and I decided to stick it out (about a year ago I started with Murad, it made my skin worse for about a week and I gave up). So now 2.5 weeks have passed and I think my skin is MUCH better. I only have 1 big pimple right now (when I started I had about 10 big pimples), and since it's been only 2.5 weeks, I think that in another couple of weeks my skin will be clear (though I will post back if I was wrong).

Pros:

worked the first day, but now i noticed in the T-zone part of my forehead, it totally broke out over night. ugh

Cons:

dries out my skin, but i heard that if you just put the so called moisturizer (more like a drier). right on the blemishes, then you're just drying them out. and since i've only used it for a few days, im hoping that if i do that it'll work.

i really am giving it a chance, i hope it works is really all i can tell you. on the first day, my skin looked so good, i went totally without makeup!, but today. one day later, part of my forehead broke out. and my acne that was there before is still there. but i think im going to just get a good moisturizer for combo skin, with an spf of course, because the sun rays make you break out, (just thought i'd let you know), then i'll see how it goes from there!
