Pros:

Controls oiliness and definitely helped control my acne. Plus if you usually get free perks when you make a purchase.

Cons:

It's a bit price, but when you start adding up a face wash, toner, and moisturizer at the store it's actually not that bad.

I'm a 21 year old female who's had acne since the 5th grade. It's never been sever (no cysts or anything like that) but I have consistent black/white heads and bumps all over my cheeks, nose, and forehead. I have used everything under the sun and had just gotten off using DDF for Acne. Clinique JUST started this line and I wanted to give it a shot. Note to other members - there are many 3 step face products by Clinique. Make sure you are reviewing the Acne System. I noticed a big change in my face. In the winter I used Neutrogeana's Combiantion Oil Free Moisturizer following the 3 steps b/c my face did get a little dry. But other than that I use all 3 steps and it works wonderfully on my face.PLUS I signed up to be a member (which is free) when I made my purchase and I got some great free Clinique products. YEY! It not only controlled my acne but my oily face as well and I really do love it!!!

Pros:

Works really well for oily skin, made my T-Zone look better after just two uses. I like the packaging and the products felt nice going on my skin.

Cons:

I have combination skin and my cheeks are usually dry. After only one use, they felt oddly bumpy and warm. I foolishly put it on my cheeks a second time, and now they are burning hot and red, and irritated. I would use ONLY on seriously oily skin!

I am probably going to return this product. I was hoping to use it to clear up my occasional T-Zone blemishes (since the Clinique counter lady said I could) but obviously it is made for much oilier, acne prone skin. I probably could have used it when I was a teenager instead of Accutane, because it seems to be pretty effective so far. Unfortunately, it seems to really irritate my sensitive/combination skin. My face does better with my $20 bottle of Biore than it does with this $90 package.

Pros:

Cleared up my skin immidiately. Softer brighter acne-free skin now after olny 4 weeks of continous use.

Cons:

None.

It's been about 2 years that I struggled with acnes which I never had during my teenage years. In the past, I used to use an Yves Rocher oil-free lotion and it was really good with my skin but it was discontinued and I could never find a replacement for it. I tried so many different brand names, you name it: Elizabeth Arden, Lancome, Clarins, Shiseido all oil-free of course. They all cloged my pores and made my breakout worse. I even tried many different over the counter products such as Neutrogena, Olay, Aveeno (moisturizer was the worst, however I love the foaming cleanser! and to me is the best!)No help until last month that I discovered (!) this new line of clinique, Oh my God, I couldn't believe my eyes, finally something's working! So the bottom line is that whatever works well on my skin would not necessarily work for you and vice versa as I had read so many compliments about other products which never worked for me. Stick to whatever that works for your skin!

Pros:

comes in 30 day supplies of all three peices or you can purchase what you need individually. i used proactive for a while and always had too much moisturizer, not enough toner and the right amount of face wash.

Cons:

none really except it should come with a mask.

this really worked for me better than proactive. proactive only has benzoyl peroxide as the acne fighting ingrediant, clinique uses both sacilyc acid and benzoyl peroxide which in my opinion works better. also lik the fact that the cleansing lotion has a matifying powder in it to help with oily skin. my skin looks and feels alot better with clinique.

Pros:

Brand name, nicely packaged, three different types of face wash.

Cons:

Irritable to skin-- causes itchy, red, and burning.

As soon as I started to use this product my face gradually turned bright red throughout the day. I don't know if I'm personally allergic to a chemical in their cleanser, but my entire face was beat red, itchy, and burning. I had to go to a doctor who recommended aloe vera. I use Clinique makeup and it's great, so I really don't know why this product didn't work for me-- Clinique is supposed to be a pretty high-end cosmetic brand and I was extremely disappointed with the 3-step acne care system. I got my 60$ back immediately after. So, be sure to check the ingrediants before purchase and warning for those with sensitive skin: be careful!

Pros:

I have tried it all - Proactiv, Murad, Clearasil, and Purpose and was not satisfied with any. Clinique worked right from the start. I did not purchase the "step 2" clarifying lotion, as it contains alchohol. Just use Step 1 and Step 3!!!!

Cons:

No cons. The scent is mild and contains no fragrance additives. It lathers, but is not creamy like Clearasil Ultra. The moisturizing lotion (step 3) goes on light. Purchase the oil free sun screen and you'll be all set.

I do not have bad acne, but do experience the periodic big breakout and the "in betweens". I would consider myself to have oily skin. I am male (34 years of age). You can purchase at any department store or order from [link removed]. On a side note, I supplement with the Proactiv Refining Mask - use it periodically at night (just leave it on, do not rinse).

Pros:

Skin feels super smooth and very clean! Blemishes cleared up in a matter of days...not weeks like other products! Bottom line...my skin feels AMAZING after I use this stuff

Cons:

The smell of the products is not too great. It isn't BAD...just not the best scented face wash ever. Step two burns alittle and contains alcohol which can be irritating for alot of people. Luckily I am not one of those people :)

First off, I don't use or recommend that anyone go out and buy the ENTIRE clinique acne solutions line. I use the basic three step UN MEDICATED face wash because the cleansing foam+the line dried my skin out HARDCOREEE. The acne solutions toner has medication in it, as well as #4 and #3 in the three step, so on top of step number three that was was too much medication for my skin to handle!! I also wouldn't recommend to use the clearing moisturizer as such, considering it contains BP! Use one on top of it for optimal results. Clinique makes some awesome ones, but when I'm on a budget I just stick to drugstore Neutrogena with a SPF. BOTTOM LINE... This line takes a bit of fine tuning, and probably isn't for those with super dry or super sensitive skin....but if you have moderate to very oily skin/moderate acne problems you will LOVE IT. Make sure to get it at a dept store and DONT GIVE IN to the salesperson who is going to try to make you buy the whole line :)

Pros:

this stuff is so amazing. i just got it on sunday and already i see a HUGE different in my face. my acne is almost gone and it makes my face feel really soft. ive tried a whole bunch of stuff but this actually worked.

Cons:

don't really like the smell and the clarifying lotion burns..only for a sec though.. so i can deal with it. also pretty expensive. but its well worth it

just try it..even though half the reviews on here are bad doesnt mean its not gona work for you. i was sketchy about this stuff but im glad i bought it. its the best acne treatment ive ever used.

Pros:

The foam facial wash works very well. I love that it leaves my face feeling soft and very clean. I have noticed that my face has cleared up since I started using the products.

Cons:

My face is very dry now.

It does work but I would not reccommend using it more than once a day, depending on how dry your skin can be you might want to use it every other day. It has worked for me, but so far my skin has improved just a little. I tend to break on my cheeks and no where else. Before I started using this produst, it wasn't really bad, but it was noticeable, especially to me....and now it has improved, but I am hoping it will be totally cleared up.
