Pros:

It is great and cheap.

Cons:

None--just lucky to have found it.

I am 45 and had adult acne and rosacea for about 10 years--I have tried everything--all the expensive MD stuff. I found this by accident--and it is the best thing I've ever used. My 19 year old uses it for her (pretty bad) acne and also loves it. Plus its cheap!!!!!!!!!!!

Pros:

I used Acnomel cake as a teenager inthe 70's and it was excellent! Dried up pimples overnight. I still had some left that my teenage daughter tried and she said it worked best of anything.

Cons:

I wish they still made the cake form. It worked far better than the tube I can now order from Safeway pharmacy.

Please bring back the cake! You'll have a huge market for it!!

Pros:

Gave me my life back in combination with proactiv cleanser and lotion then use Acnomel.

Cons:

I wish I had found this sooner.

I spent hundreds of dollars on acne products from prescription to drug store including Differin gel which did nothing for me. This product is even better than persa gel which was my go to acne product. It definitely is less irritating and drying still getting the job done. I wear 0 makeup now! YAY!

Pros:

Acnomel was a great acne treatment until recently

Cons:

The tubes labeled 30% more are actually just a watered down product and its effectiveness is greatly decreased.

I hope they change it back.

Pros:

excellent quality and easy to use....I have used Acnomel since the early 70's... There also used to be Acnomel in cake form which I loved, but the company discontinued it.... Acnomel is hard to find ... but Rite Aid, and Walgreens have it

Cons:

none that I can think of... I got to a point where I needed extra help , and added a well known system to my treatment.

A wonderful product that works ... I still wish the cake form was available too though.

Pros:

I have used Acnomel since I was a teenager and that is many moons ago and at my age I stil use it. Sometimes I have a hard time locating it but I keep trying until I find a place that carries it.

Cons:

I have nothing but good things to say about Acnomel.

If anyone has any pimples at all I suggest that they try Acnomel and I am most sure they will keep using it.

Pros:

Affordable, easy to use, works great as a foundation under makeup and really works - fast!

Cons:

None that I have experienced

I am 41 and have been battling acne since my early teens. I have tried almost every over the counter drug with minimal results. I apply Acnomel all over my face and put an extra dose directly on a pimple. Within a day or two, the pimple is gone. Acnomel is fantastic. My dermatologist asked me where I purchased it so he could recommend it to his patients.

Pros:

Well after trying just about everything, short of Accutane, and going thru sev. different Dermatologists, I found something (randomly) in the drug store. The box said it was milder to the skin than Benzyol Perx. and I was desparate badly broken out

Cons:

Only negative the sulphur smell. Its worth overlooking the smell though--this stuff works.

In amy in my mid-forties, and I have been fighting super oily skin, breakouts, cystic acne since my teens. I have been to several different dermatologists, and have had numerous rx for rosacea and acne. I was alway super oily, w/large pores, in the t-zone, and flaking every where else. I was at the point where I was once again breaking out (badly) w/each monthly cycle (hormones?) and it would take two to three weeks for the previous months breakout to clear up, before I broke out again...so I was never clear. Had large pores and black heads on my nose and chin. I stumbled upon this at the drug store and decided to try it (it was cheap, $7.99). Within a week my nose was smooth (no large pores) and blackheads all but gone. IF YOU HAVE SUPER OILY SKIN (LIKE ME) THIS IS THE PRODUCT TO USE!!! Very drying on cheeks and around mouth...but a miracle worker on the t-zone. I dab on break outs only on cheeks, but wear it like a foundation at night on t-zone. In am skin smoooth ¬ red!
