Pros:

Affordable, easy to use, works great as a foundation under makeup and really works - fast!

Cons:

None that I have experienced

I am 41 and have been battling acne since my early teens. I have tried almost every over the counter drug with minimal results. I apply Acnomel all over my face and put an extra dose directly on a pimple. Within a day or two, the pimple is gone. Acnomel is fantastic. My dermatologist asked me where I purchased it so he could recommend it to his patients.

Pros:

This product seems to be shrinking rosacea lesions and is helping them to not spread.I am only on day four but finally I think I don't have to live with reoccurring bumps. The sulpher calms them down and I used to use Prosacea(otc) but it was not stro

Cons:

The pigment color is too dark for me, the smell is nothing if it gets rid of this horrible problem with my skin. What scant sulpher smell there is smells good as it is clearing my skin. The cream is very 'cakey' and one cannot apply make up over it.

I am so very thankful to finally find a product to help clear this strange dermitis.I am 45 and while this is not acne (it is itchy but pustule like) the sulpher helps it to keep from spreading.I feel hope that my skin won't continue to break out in these strange lesions.

Pros:

Fast acting (I saw improvement overnight), contains soothing clay, slightly tinted. Pretty impressed.

Cons:

Couldn't find in stores--bought online. After it is on a few minutes, a not-great sulfur smell emerges. Definitely to be used only at night.

One of the best OTCs I have used. I have also been on Accutane (relapsed), Clindamycin, Erythromycin, Spironolactone (did nothing), BP--off and on for years-- and pretty much every other thing you can imagine. Still fighting after 33--yes, 33-- years of acne...

Pros:

Well after trying just about everything, short of Accutane, and going thru sev. different Dermatologists, I found something (randomly) in the drug store. The box said it was milder to the skin than Benzyol Perx. and I was desparate badly broken out

Cons:

Only negative the sulphur smell. Its worth overlooking the smell though--this stuff works.

In amy in my mid-forties, and I have been fighting super oily skin, breakouts, cystic acne since my teens. I have been to several different dermatologists, and have had numerous rx for rosacea and acne. I was alway super oily, w/large pores, in the t-zone, and flaking every where else. I was at the point where I was once again breaking out (badly) w/each monthly cycle (hormones?) and it would take two to three weeks for the previous months breakout to clear up, before I broke out again...so I was never clear. Had large pores and black heads on my nose and chin. I stumbled upon this at the drug store and decided to try it (it was cheap, $7.99). Within a week my nose was smooth (no large pores) and blackheads all but gone. IF YOU HAVE SUPER OILY SKIN (LIKE ME) THIS IS THE PRODUCT TO USE!!! Very drying on cheeks and around mouth...but a miracle worker on the t-zone. I dab on break outs only on cheeks, but wear it like a foundation at night on t-zone. In am skin smoooth ¬ red!

Pros:

it is effective to a degree, shrinks the acne and redness becomes pink in one day, doesn't contain benzoyl peroxide

Cons:

unable to keep shrinked acne from growing again so must be used everyday, smells, dries up your skin but product doesn't not come with precise information on whether to use moisturizers or toners

for me, its a product that didn't cause damage to the skin other than dryness which can be overcome, which is a very useful factor because i have very sensitive skin. It's medium effectiveness means serious acne prone people will want to look at more effective creams but for something over the counter, what more can u ask for?

Pros:

Dries up acne quick, I bought it today when i got home i washed my face apply the cream and a couple hours later i already seen improvement..I am impressed

Cons:

The smell is not so great and it is thick and dies up like paste...but heck it works so i dont care about that wish i had of found it sooner.....I almost missed it in the store because of the way it is package but it was the last one left

If you want to see results quick this is the product for you it might be cheap but sometimes cheaper products work better this is proof! ;)

Pros:

I've been using this product for 2 weeks now, it's really helped! I'm in my late 40's, I've struggled with acne since my teens. Nothing helped, I've tried everything! This has changed the complexion of my face & quickly takes care of new pimples.

Cons:

That I never heard of it before.................I could have been using this for years.

I will continue to use this product and I will recommend it.

Pros:

Acnomel was a great acne treatment until recently

Cons:

The tubes labeled 30% more are actually just a watered down product and its effectiveness is greatly decreased.

I hope they change it back.

Pros:

I have used acnomel for many years. Having had extremely bad acne into adulthood. I discovered it when I was about 30 years old. My sons have used it and I have recommended it to many people who have had much success. Moisturizing is a must.

I am an Aesthetician and I recommend this product to anyone suffering with acne. I will clear up pimples in a day or two. It is fantastic. Toner and moisturizers are a very important part of skincare regimen. My sons swear by it they apply it as soon as a pimple shows and it clears them within a day. Experiment with it all skins types are different and it can dry some more than others. Best acne product available.

Pros:

I tried this on 2 spots that used to be cysts for the first time last night. I am very pleased with the results as both spots look significantly better. The bigger one shows the most improvement. It is not completely flat and has a tad of redness.

Cons:

The packaging could be more appealing to the eye. I almost didn't see this stuff on the shelf. You can only get it at select stores. It is hard to find.

You have nothing to lose but your acne! Great product. I highly urge everyone to do their research on this stuff. It doesn't have benzoyl peroxide or salysic acid like those other creams. This stuff have 8% sulfur and 2% resorcinol. I would recommend this product to anyone because it works and it is inexpensive.
