Pros:

everything

Cons:

small bottles

it worked great for me. i had TERRIBLE skin, and sensitive too. the stuff the dermatologist gave me dried my skin out like crazy, and then using the murad. it all went away. i still get a pimple or 2 but they are nothing compared to what it used to be. i love it i will use it as long as i can afford it. clear skin is wayy better and totally worth the price. next stop, getting rid of the scars. =]

Pros:

price is on par with other mid-range treatments, smells & feels clean, has GREATLY improved my skin, I have not at all had the irritation that others seem to have had, good mix of active ingredients including retinol

Cons:

the acne spot treatment (sulfur) is a little drying, but if you take a break from it for a day it is no problem

I am confused by all of these bad reviews; I started using the Murad acne complex about 2 months ago and love it! I have had pretty serious acne my whole life (I'm 29!) and have tried everything (prescription & OTC)...was on Accutane (most powerful presc acne drug) 3X...the limit! Each time, my face would look wonderful for about a year but the acne would come back. I tried ProActiv years ago; I never liked the way it felt on my face (it never felt totally clean) but it did work ok. Murad has actually done the best of anything (besides Accutane) I have tried to date. There is a purging process like they say, but it hasn't been as bad as I expected and it is almost done. My skin is smoother than it has been in years and it continues to improve. Not willing to claim a miracle yet, but I have DEFINITELY not had the bad experience many of these reviewers have. I recommend the product, as it has done wonders for me so far. If you're searching, you should least give it a try.

Pros:

Within 2days of using this product I noticed improvement. Thankfully the boxed set was the right combination for my skin because I didn't have any issues. I plan to continue using this product line.

Cons:

Very expensive.

I would recommend this product

Pros:

cleared 95% of my acne

Cons:

smells so bad it smells like your face was burned

I used this product for 3 weeks and almost all of my acne is gone I think all the people who used this product never realy used it and there trying to make murad look bad. and some people are saying the spot treatment drys your skin your only required to put that on your pimples to speed up healing

Pros:

*easy to use
*keeps skin moisturized and doesn't dry it out
*doesn't sting or burn
*no benzoyl peroxide

Cons:

*a little on the pricey side
*the purging process isn't a pleasant experience

Murad has worked wonders for me! I used to use a benzoyl peroxide prescription from my doctor, but I developed a sensitivity to it over time. I was so frustrated because every acne kit I found had benzoyl peroxide in it, and the salicylic washes and creams I tried weren't helping at all. I saw the Murad kit in Sephora and was so excited when I saw it didn't have any benzoyl peroxide. For about the first three weeks my skin purged like crazy. The instructions inside the kit say your skin may "purge" breakouts to get rid of all the gunk in your skin for a while, and that it exactly what happened to me. If you want to try Murad, just know you will probably go through a period where your skin breaks out more than normal. It wasn't very fun to constantly be breaking out, but I stuck with it and am so glad I did! Once my skin stopped breaking out, it cleared up quickly. I use the whole kit morning and night. The only little thing I do differently is I wash my face with the cleanser and a spinning cleansing tool to help exfoliate my face. The only other con I could come up with was the price. It was about $60 for the two month kit, but it was well worth it! I definitely recommend this product.

Pros:

Cleanser leaves skin feeling refreshed.
Spot treatment helps zit dry up overnight.
Lotion hydrates skin.

Cons:

Toner burns skin for the first couple times.

I have used SO many products on my face. I've tried Proctiv, Dermalogica, birth control, every cleanser in retail stores and NOTHING worked. Everything made my acne worse. I finally decided to use this product. I was reluctant, but by the first 2 weeks I noticed a great improvement in the look and feel of my skin. I have been using it for about 4 months and my skin hasn't looked this great in a long time. I still have scares from previous acne and I need to find something to get rid of those. I haven't had a breakout in a long time!
