Amazing
This has worked wonders on my skin. I've tried every line out there. I can't believe some of the reviews because this was seriously a life saver. I was on the pill for years but I hated the symptoms I got. I finally found this gem and I couldn't be happier. I'm using the Acne clearing solution and the skin perfecting lotion. I can't wait to move onto their other products.

Pros:

It really works! My skin feels great...
My face got red the first week or so but then the redness went away and I am almost clear of acne!

Cons:

Be patient, it takes time!

This product really worked for me. It took a lot of patience before I saw good results! But I am loving my skin now!!! And I know it will get even better!!!

Pros:

Great Smell, Works an absolute treat.
Simple to use. Well priced for a treatment system (Have previously paid more for products that did way less).

Cons:

The first week my skin did "purge", but this was over quickly. Skin did dry/peel slightly but it is fine now.

I've not written a review before, but after seeing so much bad feedback about this product I thought it was nessisary for another point of view. I've suffered from acne ranging from mild to severe since I was 13, Now 21 It's fair to say i was fed up and tried this product as a last resort. it cleans the skins fantastically, smells great and is so simple to use. With this said, I feel like lifestyle has a big bearing with this product. If your going to eat rubbish, expect rubbish. If your going to cover your face with masses of make up to cover a break out, expect it to get worse/hardly heal (I'm so very guilty of this). I can say my skin right now is the best it's been since I was 13 and am actually confident enough to leave the house without make up. The spot treatment is definitely the BEST spot treatment i've ever used as well. It's less harsh on skin but does the job. Obviously, this product won't suit everyone, but look past the "purging" stage and it's worth it. I maintain, there is so many pro's to this product.

Pros:

It cleared up my face so very quick, and i love that it is so easy to use and the three stepe tystem works so well.

Cons:

none, most other threatment make my skin break out the first week or so but this did not.

The bottom line is that I've had acne for a while now, never bad but allways had some on my face and it bothered me for so long,so i thried several threatments and this one works so well, and you should try it, you only have one face take care of it, and if this doesnt work as well as you would like after about a month i would try dermaware it also works great.

THIS STUFF IS MAGIC
I am a teenage girl with lots of acne. I have been using this for about a week now. A week ago my skin looked like a red swollen mess with big zits everywhere that needed to be popped. Today, my skin is FLAWLESS! I am in love with Murad, IN LOVE! I love the way the clarifying cleanser feels on my face, it feels fresh and clean when I am done using it, and it smells good when it's on, it's easy to rub on and off of my face. Then, the next step feels like a nice lotion, but it's acne treatment/repair. I don't feel any burning or stinging with this one. The next Treatment and Repair step is if you have a prominent zit on your face, you apply it directly there. I noticed the size of my zit shrink in about 3 mins! At this point, I am not even needing that step though, my skin looks great, no more big zits!!! After about 3 days of applying that to the zit area they were all gone! I honestly believe that Murad is magic, at least for my skin. The lotion also feels good, and is GREAT sun protection! My only complaint is that Murad makes your face look a little shiny, so while using you may want to use a powder based foundation. But my face feels radiant! I have never felt so confident in my skin before! I LOVE this product and recommend it to everyone! If you are comparing this to Rodan and Fields or Clinique, look at my reviews for those, too (POST OF SHAME, and OUCH)! I hope this helped!

Pros:

Clears skin. Cooling. Preventative. Chemical exfoliation. Hydrating.

This is a perfect blend of chemical exfoliation from the salicylic acid (BHA) and citrus oils. Anti-inflammatory properties from the lavender oil, black cohosh and castor oil. The castor oil and apricot kernel oil help balance oil production, lightly hydrate. Plant oils are similar to skin oils which allow for the ingredients to penetrate past the acid mantle (natural oil barrier on the skin) and keep the skin hydrated since salicylic acid is meant to remove excess oil and help loosen blackheads. The oils it contains are not synthetic so it does not cause sensitivity or clog the pores. The menthol causes a cooling effect that gives skin a tingly clean feeling without overly stripping the skin. A moisturizer and SPF is a must due to the chemical exfoliation and to not let it all go to waste. I have never had more amazing skin. I use this in the A.M. because my makeup goes on smooth and since my oil is regulated my makeup wears longer even without primer. I have combination skin so I think using it in the morning is enough. I use something more neutral in the evening with makeup removing properties. Not for dry skin as the salicylic may further dry out your skin. Try something gentler like lactic, malic or glycolic acid. IT IS AMAZING. I am just a skincare fanatic and I give this 5 stars. ****THIS WAS TO RESPOND TO THE LAST PERSON WHO HAS NO CLUE ABOUT INGREDIENTS. If it doesn't work, its because your treating the issue while ignoring your skin type. You may need something more aggressive or gentler with time released ingredients. Be nice to your biggest organ. Hope you find something that works. :)

I just recently bought it, and absolutely love it! My skin cleared up in 3 days, Unbelievable!! I tried so many products and spent so much money. I never broke out until I turned 23 and it was horrible! It was cystic acne, which was so gross and painful! I got a facial at massage envy and they recommended this product, I went home and thought about it for a week and finally went back and bought it.

I started getting acne when I was around 11, I'll be 16 in about a month. I've tried countless products, I really have. Most cleared my skin a little for like 2 weeks, then made it worse. Clean & Clear, Neutrogena, Acne Free, and so on. This coming Wednesday will be my 4th week on Acne Complex and I'm really happy with my so far results. Instead of waking up and praying I didn't get a new zit over night, I wake up to find my face glowing. I had moderately severe acne when I got the product. Now it's light, but as I stated, my four weeks aren't even up yet. I have a lot of faith in Murad, I really do. A few weeks before I ordered, I swear I went through every bad review on this webpage. The ones who said everyone's skin is different, that you SHOULD TRY IT, JUST TO SEE IF IT WORKS FOR YOU, pushed me. It also helped to read the details of what their acne looked like. So here's my details I started wearing makeup at 11, that's what I believe triggered it. I can't exactly remember when I got the "brail" bumps, but I've never used anything that made them go away before Murad. My acne looked like a mixture of Sammi's and Deedra's. Very occasionally I'd get the huge painful bumps like Brian. Right before I started using Murad I broke out around my jawline, like Sammi's. The "Brail" bumps were all over my face, at least a couple hundred of them. The acne on my jawline itched. Usually I popped my pimples then stopped for a while and noticed it got better on its own. I have sensitive skin, most people with acne, especially bad acne do. If you do then I suggest you use it only ONCE a day. I know what my skin's limits are. I used the exfoliating acne gel every other day. After two weeks I started using it every day and my skin's fine since it's used to the products. I have struggled with acne for years and have used everything under the stars to try and fix it. Ive used all natural organic products and ive used proactiv solution and nothing seemed to work as consistently as this product does. In the beginning stages my skin did NOT react to this product well. I used the face wash with my clarisonic and it was much too abrasive for my skin and I ended up braking out into a horribly uncomfortable rash. I stopped using murad for a couple of weeks and on my second attempt I used much more caution. I started to only use my hands to gently massage the face wash in and I made sure to buy a separate night mosturizer because although my skin is extremely oily, this product is very strong and can easily dry your face out. The key for me was to use a very good mosturizer after using this product. Now, my face has never been more clear.

Okay I'm doing exactly what you said you started out doing, the clarisonic with the cleanser and so on. But my skin is peeling a lot like a sun burn, did you go through this? And can you tell me a bit more of what you did to help and get such a good result? It's so embarrassing to have your face peel this badly.. Thanks !

I have had acne all my life and have used just about every over the counter product. When I bought this I was pretty skeptical but I can honestly say its been great on my skin, very gentle and effective at preventing breakouts. This product has done wonders for my skin.
