Pros:

Great smelling and invigorating cleanser! The moisturizer makes my skin feel silky and smooth. The gel is lightening my dark marks left behind from cystic acne.

Cons:

The exfoliating acne gel can take time getting used to so just use it at night for the first 2 weeks.

My whole life I have never suffered from acne. Now that I am 28 I started to have these nightmarish breakouts. Huge cystic acne and blackheads on my jaw and cheeks. I used proactive and it did absolutely nothing for me except hurt when I used it. Finally after trying everything I could get my hands on I came across the Murad website. I quickly ordered the 30 day kit and had my package within 3 days. After 1 week all of my huge painful bumps went down tremendously and now I just have a few dark marks left behind. I never went through the "purging" process they say could happen. When rubbing my hands over my face, it is completely smooth. I really thought I was going to have to pile on tons of makeup forever but this product has made such a huge difference in my life. I would say to try it and if it doesn't work for you, they give you a full refund.

Pros:

Cleared my acne very well.And my skin looks healthy too.My dark spots were also faded.Now I am almost acne free.

Cons:

It was harsh at first.

expensive, just takes out your pimples, whiteheads, and makes it stay there.it does nothing to reduce it.

its not really a great product. its expensive and doesnt really help. ive taken it day and night for 2 months straight and no effect. and the sulfur acne spot treatment smells a little and burns ur face a little. it doesnt even help. i apply that 3 times a day and the acne spot is still there.it used to be light acne now its all the way to moderate.

Pros:

This is the first product that has been able to keep my acne under control.

Cons:

I don't find the Acne Spot Treatment as effective as products that use benzoyl perozide. My face does get a bit shiny during the day.

I love this product. I tried Proactive, but it did nothing for me. Murad works great for me. I love the alpha hydroxy Exfoliating Acne Treatment Gel - that has been the key to keeping my breakouts at a minimum. The Skin Perfecting Lotion makes my face feel hydrated, although makes my face a bit shiny. Still, it's nothing like the oil that I had prior to using the product. I also use St. Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub a few times as week, and Smashbox Anti-Shine mattifier every day to keep the shine down. I still break out around my period, but get 1 or 2 zits vs. the 30 I got before. Even dealing with Murad has been great. I don't use the products as frequently as they are mailed out, so I requested a hold be put on my account - and have had no issues. Trying to quit Proactive was a pain in the ass - they kept sending me more products, expecting me to pay for them, or pay to ship them back. Pros:

The spot treatment is good at soothing blemishes

Cons:

Neverending purging

The cleanser is fairly well however I have seen better results from the Neutrogena oil-free acne wash. The exfoliating gel makes my face feel nasty and is probably the cause of my neverending purging. The skin perfecting lotion makes my face way too shiny and I only squeeze a pea sized amount of lotion out. Basically, I would not reccomend this regimen.

can be a bit drying when used togeter.

Best thing I have ever used on my acne prone skin. I only use the cleanser and body scrub. A little goes a long way so the price becomes reasonable.

Pros:

It smells good, the cleanser works good and doesn't scrub your face like proactiv.

Cons:

IT MAKES YOUR FACE BREAKOUT REALLY BAD. WHITEHEADS EVERYWHERE!

BOTTOM LINE IS DONT USE THIS PRODUCT UNLESS YOU CAN WITHSTAND A COUPLE OF WEEKS OF BAD BREAKOUTS. I USED PROACTIV FOR AROUND A YEAR AND I HAD MY ACNE UNDER CONTROL. I STILL BROKE OUT LIKE 1-3 PIMPLES A WEEK OR SO BUT SINCE USING MURAD I GOT 5 PIMPLES A DAY FOR A WEEK. I CAN SEE MORE DEVELOPING SO I AM DONE WITH THIS STUFF. WARNING!!! DO NOT USE THIS STUFF!!! TERRIBLE OUTCOME!

Pros:

i noticed that my skin wasnt ever oily anymore, and that it was softer and more even.

Cons:

the purging process never stopped and you just keep breaking out.....

after reading hundreds of aweful reviews from people who used it over a long period of time, and being asked if i had herpes because of the horrible breakouts it gave me, i decided to quit using it. i used it for 4 weeks, and i just couldnt handle the breakouts anymore...

I FEEL like a FRICKKN ACNE PATIENT!! i was using pro-active havnin a couple breakouts one a month but NOW after using this product for just over 2 weeks i literally could BREAK DOWN and CRY..Im takn like 40 new zits, everywhere man, whiteheads, ..etc

STICK TO WHAT U KNOW. FOR ME ITS PROACTIVE . THIS IS SERIOU SLLY a FRICKKN waste of money time and emotion. the breaking out stage is WACKED MAN..U will REALALY feel like an ACNE PATIENT...REPS TEll u the same thing. Pros:

Smells alright.

Cons:

Does not work at all.

I used this product completely correctly, following the instructions and not missing any treatments for 60 days and I saw ZERO change. I wonder with all the negative reviews I see here and my own personal experience how it ever sells.
