Pros:

I've noticed all reviews are only over 30 days. I know it says three weeks on packaging, for clear skin, but it takes longer than that. Like. for me it was 6 months. And now I don't get a pimple. EVER.

Cons:

Takes a long time to work, expensive.

If you have the cash and paitence for it, try Murad. I used Demroclogica before, and It made my skin worse. Murad cleared up the flaky skin and such, and I really liked it. The moustrizers is reallly nice.

Pros:

cleanser makes skin feel really soft

Cons:

there are 4 steps and if you don't followvthe regimen everyday you'll break out
expensive

I've never that more than light acne until now after I used murad I've had terrible breakouts all over my face. When I started using this I did notice my face being a little clearer, but after 4 weeks my skin is worse than it was before. The acne treatment gel dried out my oily skin and it stung so I don't recommend using it on dry or sensitive skin. Spot treatment gel doesn't help it just makes the pimple hurt less, it doesn't make it smaller or reduce the redness. The cleanser is great and the lotion moisturizes dry skin but makes skin look shiny. Overall, in my experience the product doesn't live up to the guarantee of clear skin but thats just me, if the price tag isnt too much for you (it was for me) i recommend you try it and if it doesnt work you can return within 60 days which is what I did.

Pros:

I startred using Murad as a last ditch effort to get rid of the adult acne I aquired at 25. It works wonders and within 3 months my face has done a complete turn around. I'm so glad I tried it!! The post acne scar treatment works great for scars too.

Cons:

It is expensive for the treatments but I think the price is worth it for clear skin. Also the consitancy for the treatment serums can be sticky and burn you're face if you have sensetive skin.

This stuff is expensive but if you can afford it it's worth the try. I didn't get my first breakout until I was 25 but when it came it was horrific and cystic. I don't have an issue with price so I bought every skin care acne kit I could get my hands on from proavtic, to clinique, este lauder....you name it I tried it. Nothing worked. Murad has cleared my face up in 3 months and I've purchased the vitamins and I'm now taking those every day. I'm so glad I tried it even though I'm sure it doesn't work for everyone and if you have sensetive skin it may be a bit to strong for you to use.

Pros:

It worked fast and consistantly

Cons:

purging

It was a great product, it worked fast the only problem was the purging. I do recommend it but for the best results, lay off the oil based foundation and switch to mineral, it's better.

Pros:

Smells good, lotion feels good.

Cons:

Exfolating gel-painful burning sensation, makes your acne 10 times worse! Purging process never left! >:(

I had high hopes for this product when seeing the informercials for the increadible Murad Acne Complex! I ended up ordering it right away thinking that it would do a better job then ProActiv(i had a few pimples here and there)...BAD IDEA! I understood that the whole 'pruging process' would last for about a week, so i was fine with that. Within 2 weeks my acne was getting worse and by week 3- 3 1/2 it was at the worst its ever been. I have huge painful acne cysts and redness, and many othere pimples scattered around by jaw line/cheek. I finally had enough and stopped the stuff. I went to a dermatologist and im currently taking antibiotics and topicals. In a month I will be starting accutane which my doctor says is the closest thing to a cure. I will certainly send back the bottles for my money back guarantee. I am so sorry that I ordered this stuff. I now learned my lesson, which is to go to a professional. Murad had ruined my face. :(

Pros:

Worked very good for me!
Didnt upset my skin once it worked.

Cons:

Skin "purged" for about 3 weeks
Didnt help with scar marks...
Didnt smell good but who cares!? Its medicine and not suppose to smell like flowers! I would be scared if it was too perfumey cause that would probably irritate my sensitive skin.

Hi! I'm 29 yr old I have used Murad Acne complex for about 5 weeks now and have seen great results. From the first day I used it I noticed my existing pimples started to heal, and not just dry up like they normally did with a Benzoyl Peroxide treatment, but actually heal. I had probably about 20 something blemishes on my face when I started and now I only have a few dark spots that cover up with a dab of concealer. My face looks great!! I did have the purging the first three weeks and almost gave up because of it. It was pretty bad, but I could tell it was purging because it was like lots of tiny little white heads that went away quickly but where constantly there so I swore off makeup. I actually cried because it got so bad but I stuck with it. I do recommend the Toner to use after the cleanser and before the gel. I talked to a professional that said a toner restores your skins Ph balance and the other products will not work as well with out doing that first.

Pros:

Fresh feeling
Calms skin down a little
Skin a little smoother?

Cons:

Relatively pricey
Isn't really consistent in helping acne

The Murad Acne Complex kit helped me the very first time I used it when I had one or two pimples here and there and it helped keep my skin clear. But recently I started to get acne...not just one or two pimples and the regiment wasn't effective enough to really do anything. This is sad cause my acne has gotten pretty bad lately. :(

Pros:

It did make my face a little more vibrant. I liked the way my skin looked, in the areas without any pimples, in the first few days of using the product.

Cons:

Did NOT work for me. Made my acne worse.

The last time I used this product was last year but my experience was horrible. The beginning started out okay. I liked how it made my skin feel and felt hopeful. But after about a month of using it, my acne got worse. Before using Murad my teenage acne had been subsiding and was practically clear, with a little pimple here and there. But after using this product it made me have "adult acne". I started having the big, painful pimples. Also, I started getting acne around my neck and jaw line, areas I never had before. At first I thought it was the "purging" phase but this phase was not suppose to last more than 3 weeks! So after about two months of using this product I quit. It is really pricey too. I paid about $60 plus shipping and handling. Its almost a year later after using Murad and I'm still trying to get my acne under control. It really sucks and this experience has made me more cautious about trying new products. If I could go back in time I would never have used it

Pros:

lotion keeps the oil less from your skin

Cons:

MADE IT WORSE. DID NOT GET BETTER EVEN THOUGH I USED IT FOR 2 MONTHS.

i was caught by the infomercials and orderd them right away, thinking that murad would clear my skin in 4 weeks like they said. paid money and with the body spray and the toner like they recommended. i followed exactly what they said and it just made it worse. it started spreading and just big bumps over my forehead and HURTED a lot. the toner makes it worse SO DONT ORDER IT WHEN THEY ASK YOU IF YOU HAVE OILY SKIN! (they make you wanna order it) NOT HELPFUL ATTTT ALLLL. 4 WEEKS? TOTAL BS.
