Pros:

nothing

Cons:

it doesnt work

makes your skin worse. 4 weeks is an absolute lie; its been 3 monthes and no improvement has been made.

Pros:

It seemed to make acne bumps go down quickly.

Cons:

New acne formed every night and redness increased. Very irritating.

I do not have sensitive skin and have used harsh prescription treatments before where my skin adjusted within a few days. However, after almost 4 weeks, my skin still burns after using this product (I use a small amount). I am getting acne in areas that didn't break out prior to using this product. I got woken up in the middle of the night from the pain of new acne forming. That is where I draw the line and refuse to wait any longer to see if it eventually starts working. Don't try this product unless you are willing to risk getting worse acne for weeks. I'm sure it works for some people but there seems to be a lot of comments claiming it made their acne worse. I would love to see the actual data from their study claiming to improve the skin of 90% of the users. I couldn't find it on their website which seems odd to me. I feel like I've been scammed.

Pros:

Gets your hopes up.

Cons:

Lets you down.

To be completely honest, I am a male acne sufferer and the best thing you can do is wear makeup no matter how ridiculous you think you look. Make it work.

Pros:

The mask is pretty good.

Cons:

Not strong enough, very expensive.

My face broke out pretty bad on this stuff. I really don't buy this "purging" business. I would not advise anyone buying this system. You can buy AcneFree Severe at Walmart and it works much better. I am switching back to that. I bought the product with some hope it would work for me. I have never had a 'miracle' product like some. Oh well, Murad is definately not it!

Pros:

It worked! Got rid of 70% of my acne.

Cons:

My acne returned after about a month of using it. Lotion made my skin sensitive.

I have tried everything out there for ance and nothing worked. I bought this product and used it for three months. It worked really well at first, then it just stoped working. I was really frustrated because it stoped working.

Pros:

It didn't make my acne worse, but it' didn't work @ all. Once in a while, it will pop out more acne but not tremendous.

Cons:

It's didn't work for me, the yellow acne cream that came with it was a bit odd, when I first purchased and used it, the cream was not smooth, it had little bumps in it which I thought was propably an old bottle, but I just purchased it!

I used 2 of the box and box the cream had little while balls in it, IT doesn't work. The sales lady asked me what I used previously, and i told her neutrogena, and she told me that cheap stuff doesn't work and both the sales lady said bad things about cheap product and suggest this for me and garanteed it will work or I could bring it back! IT DIDN"T work, whats worse is I think neutrogena even worked better than this and neutrogena is cheaper! I never brought the product back simply because it was a hassle to drive an hour back to return!! I would not recommend it!

Pros:

Smells ok.

Cons:

Caused extreme reddening, drying and sensitivty. Highlighted blemishes. Increased spots both in areas where I had none before and in problem areas. Skin sore to the touch and even making facial expressions are sore. Feels like it has burned my skin

I'm a 32 year old male with moderate acne, very oily skin with 2 to 3 ingrown hairs once a week on chin & neck causing large swollen red bumps & a lot of sebum. After just 1 day of using Murad my face reddened to the point that people were shocked and asked me had I a rash. The next day, my entire face had dried to the point where it was sore to make even smile, I had dozens of tiny spots everywhere on my face where I hadn't had spots since I was 14. I phoned the helpline, who explained this was normal and reduce my use. From just 2 days!? 3 days after I stopped using it my face is still sore and red and covered in spots. They said that the normal purging process may take a week or more. Even if I could remove myself from society for that period, I couldn't bear the painful effects which I hope aren't permanent

Pros:

none

Cons:

Made me get about about a million little tiny pimples on my forehead.

Don't waste your money.
March 26, 2007

Pros:

There were none.

I tried it for over 7 weeks, and it didn't do a thing for my acne.
July 17, 2009

Pros:

Got me really pumped to have clear skin in four weeks...

Cons:

Didn't get my skin clear in four weeks. I am on week five and it's all going downhill. My skin is much worse than when I started. I really wanted this to be the one that worked, but listen up guys, it's VERY expensive for what you get. No success.

First week, nothing to different happened Second week, my skin got worse on my checks. Third week, purging got MUCH MUCH worse, fourth week, horrible scarring from the past two weeks and I wake up with about 4-7 new white heads every morning fifth week-nothing better, I'm very disappointed and will be meeting with a dermatologist this week to give me REAL medicine.
