Pros:

It did see an actual disappearance of acne within three days I liked it for about a minute, then the skin began to dry up and I used moisturizer but no moisturizer worked with how dry my skin became!

Cons:

very harsh on my skin made more blackheads on my chin and made my face very red after use, it made my eyes water to use because it stung! Made my skin uber dry too I couldn't even wear my cover up because it made my skin look so scaly.

I am going to try something different, way too expensive (i paid 60.00 for starter kit!!) , it hurt to use and made my skin wayyyy too dry.

Pros:

Leaves your skin clean and smells ok.

Cons:

Made my acne 10x worse and irritated my skin badly.

I dont even have sensitive skin and it irritated mine badly. It made my mild acne into severe swollen acne.

Pros:

Smells clean, feels clean, seems clean, bottles look clean, etc.

Cons:

Leaves condition of your face Worse off than if you never started using it!!!!!

The commercial is Verrry Persuasive, definately. And who of us suffering from acne can't help but have a little hope?! We're good people, we want to believe that there may be a cure.. WEll, Murad is Not it! When I started using this product, for the first three days it made my face smooth&happy, and then the breakouts began. I called the rep on their derm "hotline". She talked up all this purging business. It's been two months, my face is in the worst condition it has Ever been. I can only hope that it has not done lasting damage as others have expressed. Fingers crossed. Who would have thought paying a pretty penny and waiting for some bogus face crap in the mail would leave me with my fingers crossed hoping to reverse the products' effects. This product may help like 1% even 5% of people, sure. My feeling is that the 99% of us who really Need something that works will be completely screwed by MURAD. Pros:

This system does work for about one to two weeks. It calmed the irritated and itchy feeling with the cleanser. And it helped smooth out my uneven skin tone.

Cons:

it makes you breakout. The company calls it the "purging process. Contacting them won't help they will tell the same things over and over again. the gel in the system stings and leaves your acne bright red, and the lotion does not help

Before I used this product I had light acne on the left side of my forehead, and 3 to 5 blemishes on the far side of both my cheeks. When I used this the first week, it made my skin desert dry, I didn't want to move my face because of it. So I called Murad, and they told I was using too much, so I used less, and my face felt like it ripped when I ate or talked. So I used the cleanser and put on my face for half an hour, and the dryness stopped. Week two it cleared my face completely. Then week three I breakout all over my face. It itched, my face was soar. and my blemishes where bright red. I called again. They said I was going through the porging process. It's where the build up under your skin come to the surface. So a few more weeks went by and the puffiness and itchiness went away. Now my face is in whitehead misery. I have nothing but red blemishes and whiteheads. Never use this because if you do go through the purging process, Murad isn't going to care.

Pros:

I cleared my face at first. Saw great results my skin looked and felt nice.

Cons:

I think that my face has built a tolerance for it and now I am breaking out like if I were using nothing. I do not knwo what to use anymore...

It's okay but, I think it could be better for the price!

Pros:

there was nothing good about murad, it makes you feel like your doing something good for yourself, and its not, DO NOT BUY IT.

Cons:

for the first few weeks, my face broke out with little tiny zits where ive NEVER had acne before. it says on the paper they give u , that this is natural, and it take time to "adjust to ur skin", and it never went away.

I quit using it, and the little zits have gone now. The redness that was caused is totally gone. this is about 5 months after using that. i have to say benzoyl peroxide does work, and it did clear my skin very good. im currently using NUSKIN. it really hydrates your skin and makes you feel super good after you use it.

Pros:

It healed the old breakout for a while. I only like the cleanser.

Cons:

Dried out my face, smelled really bad, irrated my face, if you forgot to use it for a day you have new breaksout, I had to force myself to put it on.

Cons:

This has ruined my life.

Please do not use this product. I beg of you, I am 15 years old, and I used this product in hopes of clearing up my acne. I used a very small amount trying not to overdo it and dry my skin or cause irritation. Unfortenately, I developed large cysts (which is something I never had before) and I also developed acne in places I have never had before either. I now have to see a dermatologist, but the scarring is so bad, it won't clear up nor can it be taken care of by chemical peels, dermabrasion or any treatments of that sort. I really regret using this product. It's not worth the money nor destroying your face. It's best to leave it alone. Go see a dermatologist before buying any acne treatment.

Pros:

Great scent and the steps are easy to follow

Cons:

adverse effects happened to my skin. i broke out worse than before. there is no scrub beads in the facewash.

This product made me have painful breakouts that were worse than what I had before. NOT RECOMMENDED!

Pros:

Spread easily over skin and had a good consistency.

Cons:

Irritated skin EXTREMELY. Didn't see any change in acne, except for the fact that it enflamed pre-existing acne. Smelled AWEFUL.

Murad's acne complex is just an expensive bar of soap, that was harsh on the skin.
