Bad reaction to blemish control product!
I had a light acne control facial in The Hague Holland in a small salon nearby and was given the starter pack - used it for 2 nights and then my face looked awful - red rash and white spots - I regret using the product as now I really look bad and have to face my colleague at work!! Have stopped using the product but when will my face go back to normal or do I have to go see a dermatologist now? very worried ..... that I've damaged my skin ....

Pros:

- there are none...

Cons:

- two words: irritation everywhere

Ughh I hate it. I thought this would be amazing but it really was the opposite! Made my face break out LIKE CRAZY and was waaaay to harsh for my skin. It's been like 3 weeks since I stopped using this whole regimen and my face still looks horrendous. If you have sensitive skin I beg you don't use these products!

Pros:

None

Cons:

Did nothing for acne. Made it worse.

I was fooled into buying this product desperate for some relief watching late night tv. Hung in there for around 3 months waiting for results. Never did in fact it got much worse so I discontinued use. Learned later that Murad is a complete scam. Even was flagged as one of the top scams on a consumer protection website. I spent way too much money for this product. I think it's awful that a company would prey on people with a real problem. Just thought I'd share my experience.

I started this product because I was recommended it by the lady at Ulta. Before starting this product I had maybe one to two pimples a week. I just got it to make my face 100% clear. Worst product made me break out so bad. Do not get this at all.

Pros:

Feels refreshing
Smells nice

Cons:

Skin is much worse
Cystic breakouts all over chin

I purchased this product on the recommendation of a friend because I was experiencing a flare up of my acne. At the time I was battling one or two stubborn cysts. I am now desperately trying to treat several more that won't go away and just as I think one is healing, another appears. Some are returning in the same exact location. I believed that I was building a resistance to oral antibiotics but now think that this product is contributing to the problem. I do not recommend it.

Pros:

NONE

Cons:

Extremely drying

I would have rated Murad at a BIG FAT ZERO if it let me. Everyone claims that you should use a product for 2 weeks to a month before you'll start seeing results, so when I bought Murad, I did just that. However, I had horrible results. It dried out my skin SO bad. It was to the point where I had to put super thick moisturizer on every hour. My face was dry, flaky and it was kind of painful. I thought that it would pass and eventually start working.... it didn't. I will never try Murad again.

Pros:

There isnt any.

Cons:

MADE MY SKIN LOOK THE WORST IT HAS EVER LOOKED IN MY LIFE! My skin now constantly peels and is super dry.I had to visit my dermatologist to get back to normal. I bought it so I would have nice skin for my senior pics, they were ruined. Thanks Murad..

It is a complete waste of money. WARNING: TO POTENTIAL MURAD CUSTOMERS: Read the reviews that we are talking about, do not waste money and time buying this product. This isnt the miracle product that I'm sure everyone is looking for, keep looking.

total garbage
Way back when I tried Murad, it was because Proactive (BP) stopped working on me, and my boyfriend at the time was broken out and wanted to try something. We both gave it a shot, both got worse with no signs of getting better. What is this stuff and why do stores still carry it, and for exorbitant prices?

Murad ruined my skin.

Pros:

Cleanser feels and smells nice.

Cons:

Spot treatment smells gross and stings. The moisturizer is a little greasy. I would have to powder or remove the grease.
Made me break out and scar horridly. Every single day.
Expensive. With small bottles.

I've always had a problem with acne. Been battling it since I was about 12 years old. And after trying everything, I thought I would give murad a shot. I tried it out for about 6 months. I went from breaking out maybe 2 or 3 times a week to breaking out every day. My jawline and cheeks were the worst. And my jawline started to scar horridly. These products were also very expensive. It's really not worth your trouble.
