Pros:

Zaps new pimples on the spot. Shortens the life-span of forming pimples. Keeps them small and flat--or shrinks them and flattens them out. Minimizes and/or eliminates scarring.

Cons:

Won't get rid of all of your acne. Just works for spots, and for new ones. The heat can hurt. Expensive. Who knows about long-term affects of heat?

I have hormone/adult acne. While the regimen has helped reduce the spots, new ones do pop up. The Zeno works for me, keeping new ones from forming or reducing their lifespan. This, in turn, prevents scarring. As I tackle existing scars, it is very nice to be able to prevent new ones from forming. Yes, it is hot, and yes, it is expensive. But I am willing to fork out the cash and sit through the pain because I know it's going to work. It does not work for everyone, but if it works for you, it is worth it. The red mark fades quickly, and the pimple disappears, usually by the next day. It doesn't work on all pimples, but it keeps them flat. For me, it even works on pimples that have already formed with whiteheads, even though the package instructions say you have to get them while they are beneath the surface. If you're at the "try anything" point, it's worth a try.

Pros:

stops cysts in their tracks!
great for hormonal acne
heat can feel nice
if it doesn't stop a zit, it'll reduce its lifespan

Cons:

not an acne cure
refill cartridges are pretty expensive
you have to catch/zap the zit VERY early for this to be effective
does diddly-squat for whiteheads, blackheads, etc
you have to sit still for 2.5 minutes (harder than it sounds!)

This product will only be useful for sufferers of cystic acne. It will not work for garden-variety whiteheads, blackheads and pustules. The product literature is VERY clear about that, too. It's great for my hormonal acne, which manifests as big red cysts. The secret to success with this thing is ALL in the timing. You really have to catch the cysts before you can see them. If you've suffered from cystic acne, you know what I mean -- that day (or hours) before it rears up, but you can feel a painful knob beneath the skin and/or start to see some redness. That is the Zeno witching hour! I find that if I zap it then, there's a pretty good chance that sucker will never see the light of day (and if it does, its lifespan is days -- not weeks). Zeno recommends you zap the spot 2-3x/day. Another reviewer wrote that this is just something else for your toolbox -- couldn't have said it better myself. This isn't a cure, but it's a damn effective treatment! OK, now the bad: -- The unit itself is pretty pricy, but where they really get you is on the refills. The unit comes with a "tip" that has a set number of uses. Once you hit that limit, it won't work anymore and you must shell out $30 or whatever for a replacement tip/cartridge. If you chew through these quickly, it gets expensive. -- If you don't use it properly, it can leave a TEMPORARY mark. Properly means not smushing it into your face (which I'm totally guilty of) and instead lightly resting it on the pimple. I don't think using it improperly affects the results for better or worse, but the spot will be red for about an hour. Not a big deal if you're chillin at home. -- Each zap takes two-and-a-half minutes. It can be kind of hard to hold it in the right place for that long unless you're looking in the mirror the whole time, which gets boring All that said, this thing has saved my butt more times than I can count. Well worth it for me, and I have the "my skin respo

Pros:

Reduces the length of pimple time, reduces redness

Cons:

cost, battery life

I bought my Zeno right after it came out, and I've been thrilled with the results. It's not recommended for cystic acne, but I've noticed that if I catch those blemishes early, the severity is greatly reduced, I don't have scars and they're gone in about a day. The years that I've owned this have been the clearest my skin has been in my life. I don't want that to be construed as all because of the Zeno. But, what I haven't been able to clear with a good skin regime and good habits have been caught by this device. I have no complaints. I'd recommend it to anyone. The only thing I didn't like was that as I had it longer, my battery became less able to hold a charge and that was very frustrating. I recently bought a second one (my first one's on the fritz because of its age), and paid MUCH less than I paid the first time. Below is my recent cost.

Pros:

Works great when you catch the pimple early. It is not a miracle cure, but it does not say that it is. Very helpful when a nice size pimple surfaces at the wrong time!

Cons:

There is a "learning curve" when initially using. Takes several pimples to get the hang of it.

Anyone with half a brain can see obvious similarities in negative comments if you research this product on the internet. This just intrigued me personally MORE TO BUY it..I'm glad I did because it worked that well for me. :):):):):) By the way, I really priced around and the pharmacy where I bought one said she had only had ONE return in the last year, this just reconfirmed my purchase (plus, it was returnable within 30 days). She said her return was someone that had only used it once. If I bought a new coffee maker, I wouldn't expect a perfect cup of coffee the first try! If it is not selling, then why would they carry it? Because IT WORKS! Definitely not a miracle cure, but then again I don't know any acne product on the market that is. But, it is very effective when used as directed, especially when compared to creams and topicals.

Pros:

Small, easy to use and it works!

Cons:

Expensive and and leaves a red marks temporarily.

I love the Zeno! It doesn't work on all pimples, but mostly papules and pastules. I even used it rapidly for three days (2 times/day) on a huge painful cyst and it went went away dramatically. I totally reccomend getting this and if it doens't work for you, you can always return it. I paid $150 for this at Walgreens about a year ago.

Pros:

Makes pimples hurt less. Significantly reduces the size and inflammation (and i think it prevents them from becoming white)

Cons:

kind of expensive and after 60 uses you have to replace the tip for about 20 bucks i think.

I reccomend this to everyone. It says that it is not for cystic acne but i use it on my huge ones that are painful and it stops the pain and reduces the pimple. Some people are saying that it is not for people with severe acne, but i have extremely bad skin with a lot of cysts in my cheeks and when i use zeno on the really painful ones it calms the swelling and pain. Afterall, one less pimple is one less no matter what.

Pros:

Concentrated heat, feels good on the skin where you can feel an upcoming zit growing, cute device, no side effects no chemicals just heat, seems to work!

Cons:

Expensive, but I got one on ebay for about $70 (free shipping), leaves skin a little red for a while after treatment so don't treat 3 at a time and then go out.

This is mainly for those deep, somewhat occasional zits, the ones where it's slightly painful and you can feel one coming on, so when I get that worrysome pain it's GREAT to have this gadget and feel like I'm doing something about it. It's not for surface acne, so try not to waste uses on those (I have the 65 count use or something) but if you do I think it makes the whitehead come faster? Not too sure, only tried once. Anyways as for the deeper zits, I felt one coming on the side of my nose, used Zeno, and in a few hours the pain went away and nothing grew! Yesss! As for acne that's already fully formed, it helps a bit, nothing as dramatic but I think it still helps. So while it may not help all zits, I'm VERY grateful for the ones it does. Expensive, but if you can spare the cash it might be worth it to some to avoid one less red mark.

Pros:

When applied properly, it can stop acne cold. Kills the bacteria with heat. When applied at the "epicenter" of the pimple or cyst, it can wipe it out in just two days.

Cons:

It's supposed to "burn"..... Those who cannot take the pain of the "burn" will be disappointed. "Blind" cysts may survive applications that "miss the target." Cysts must be monitored to avoid recurrence.

As a sufferer of cystic acne, this product is a godsend. I just wish it were less expensive, and the heat-producing "heads" were more permanent. (They need replacement after 90 applications. They can accumulate quickly.) Acne can be the underlying cause of other chronic problems, and this product has made a difference for me.

Pros:

Expedites the healing of acne

Cons:

Leaves red marks on my super fair skin

Sometimes I'm fearful of using zeno on certain bumps that are starting because I know it's going to make the bump blow up, but thats just how the thing works. Rather than a long, drawn out process of waiting for your bump to grow, get to a head and explode, zeno takes you straight to the exploding so you can move on. Or it just burns the thing off and peels the skin. Yeah there's some redness, but I think its worth it.
