Pros:

Visibly reduces majority of acne in just a few days

Cons:

Burns skin
Causes huge red rash
Causes severe flakiness
Massively dries out skin

Be very cautious before using Quinoderm. Having suffered from acne for nearly 10 years, I wanted something that would work to clear up the remainder of the spots on my chin. I have tried many prescription medicines, from topical creams and lotions, to oral methods, and nothing massively improved my acne, with the exception of the contraceptive pill that I have been on for the past year or so. However, even that hasn't cleared my chin up completely, and I still feel very self conscious of my skin. Having read a number of positive reviews for Quinoderm, and it seemingly being a great price and easy to obtain, I decided to try it. This was an awful decision, and I'd go as far as to say it is the worse product I have put on my skin. Admittedly, after just 48 hours of applying the cream 2-3 times a day, as instructed, I could see a significant improvement on my spots. However, after about 3 days of using the product, I woke up with a large red rash across the affected area. Although this wasn't ideal, it could easily be covered up with make-up. By day 4 this rash had turned into sore and incredibly dry skin that was peeling, and stung every time I applied moisturiser. I couldn't even put an even coverage of make-up on as my chin was so flaky. It took over a week for the skin to heal, even with using e45 cream up to 4 times a day. I don't have particularly sensitive skin, so I dread to think what effect it would have on anyone who did. Clearly this cream works wonders for many people as there are so many positive reviews for the product, so possibly it is worth a try but, like I said, I would try with caution! And maybe for some people extremely dry, painful, red and flaky skin is better than spots, but not for me.

Pros:

Used it for a few days and my spots disappeared!

Cons:

My skin is really dry anyway but, the cream left it worse than ever. Really dry and flaky skin! And it really stings, but after a certain period of time applying, stinging decreases. Got it near my eyes once and they swell like balloons, so be careful!

Best spot treatment ever. Surprisingly cheap and most of all effective!

Pros:

I have been trying so many prescriptions for my spots and redness but nothing seemed to work. Friend recommended qunioderm and i think its fantastic. results aren't instant but i definately notice a difference. Worth getting!

Cons:

Burns and stings when you first apply it but then its fine.

Considering i tried prescribed acne treatments and this was £2.49 over the counter...id say its the best stuff iv ever bloody bought!

Pros:

if applied all over the face prevents spots
get rid of blackheads
reduces redness and size of spots within a couple of days
works better than anything else used in the past

Cons:

some dryness and stinging when applied but no worse than other spot treatments I have used

I have suffered with large red painful spots for the last 2 years, nothing has ever worked as good as quinoderm. I have used for 3 days and my skin almost spot free, also no new spots have appeared. It is even reducing a spot I have had for 5 weeks!! Yes my skin is quite dry but I have used it frequently and not really moisturising. I would much rather have slightly dry skin that big spots all over my face. I didn't expect it to get rid of my blackhead so this is an added bonus!! I hope the the benefits keep on coming, because I am so happy since I started using this product.

Pros:

Stops the appearance of nodules and cysts and other painful spots,
Makes skin less painful and feel smoother,

Cons:

Makes skin flakey,
Still get smaller spots emerging so does not fully treat acne,
Spots take longer to fade,

I've been using this product for two months or so and the results have been very blanaced. I used to suffer from very sore cystic acne along the cheeks and the jawline, I was very self-conscious about it because I could always feel the swollen spots. I used this product for a week and noticed it really helped as it got rid of these big cysts. However, now and then I have a break out of a lot of small spots which appear on the jaw and cheek and when poppd the blemishes take a long time to fade (and by the time they do fade I have had another break out) so it hasn't stopped my acne. I would still recommend it though as the smaller spots are a lot less irritating and I usually forget about them after a bit which helps with confidence, so it is better than not using it.

Pros:

Works
Cheap

Cons:

Itches a bit when sweating
A bit of redness when used 2-3 times a day
Can be a bit drying

This really works for me, I apply it one to two times a day after using the facewash. I haven't found that it bleaches anything really. It can be a bit drying, but nothing that can't be solved by a bit of moisturiser. The only real problem I've had with it is that it I do sometimes get very very faint red patches, but it's a small price to pay for clear skin!

Pros:

Cleared a few spots

Cons:

Gave me a really bad rash
Redness
Big, sore spots
Dry skin

this gave me nothing but problems. My skin started to look better and all of a sudden i got these huge, sore spots!! I had really dry, red skin and a rash on my jaw line! Way too harsh on skin.

Pros:

Clears spots and calms them down lots in just one treatment.

Cons:

dries skin, redness. if you miss a day spots come back fast and sore!

I would recomend to anyone suffering with acne, tried alsorts from chemists and from my gp, nothing works for more than a week. Then my friend told me about this!, i use along side with the Quinoderm Non-comedogenic antibacterial facewash.

Pros:

none!

Cons:

rubs in quickly, more moisturising than the panoxyl, works really well :)

My skin is sooo much better since using this. Panoxyl was making my skin dry and flaky and seemed to take ages to sink in, wasnt helping my spots much either. As long as you wash your hands thoroughly and wait after applyinf a few mins, you should not harm clothes. None of mine are bleached or discoloured and am using twice a day!

Pros:

for approx. 20 years used this product plus clinique soap and scruffing lotion to have clear skin (no acne, very few spots even though skin is very oily)

Cons:

long term ageing effect on skin maybe
CANNOT wear any clothes without then being ruined/bleached

It helped me live an acne and pretty much spot free life the last 20 years... just occasionally (like now) i feel compelled to search for a solution that does not force me to wear white clothes (or spend a lifetime throwing away clothes only worn a handful of times!)
