Pros:

Completely clears spots up, and reduces blackheads resulting in smooth skin.

Cons:

Burns skin and is very drying

I really only suffer with spots on my chin, and had been on dianette which cleared them up. After 6 months I couldnt cope with the weight gain and so came off dianette, after which my spots returned. I bought quinoderm after researching suitable regime products available in the U.K. Even though my spots are only on my chin I applied to my whole face, and after only a few days was stunned with the immediate reduction in spots on my chin, and the blackhead infested skin on my nose was clear and smooth, (something I never thought Id see!) However my skin was horribly dry, uncomfortable and flaky, so Ive switched to using it only at night time with a very thick moisturiser. As my acne was only light this has had no negative effect so far. Very impressed that such a cheap, side effect free treatment works!

Pros:

Cleared up spots quickly and effectively.

Cons:

A bit of irritation and soreness - but hey spots or dry skin? It wasn't a difficult choice.

The best product I have used. Drys out your skin and has reduced my spots amazingly. I am 100% happy with this and the little side effect of dry skin....who cares - moisturise.

Pros:

It works, what more can I say? My severe hormonal acne (due to polycystic ovarian syndrome) cleared up in around 6-8 weeks and after just a few days the unafected skin was brighter and smoother which people commented on.

Cons:

My skin did get a little sore and dry on my chin but kept going and it soon went away, well worth it though for clear skin!

Don't waste your money on any other over the counter product or miracle cream try this one first its affordable and does the job I cant say enough about quinoderm It worked better than the cream my doctor gave me on perscription!

Try searching Acne Cream on ebay uk or usa. Look for a brand called Home Care its exactly like quinnderm and panoxyl before it was banned. As its from the usa eu laws dont apply there.

Pros:

Mostly clear skin.
Clear complexion.
No more millions of tiny bumps all over skin.

Cons:

Dried my skin out horrendously in first few weeks.
Made my skin very red in first 2 weeks.
Burns like hell sometimes (depending on how irritable my skin that day)

I think this is a product that needs a little time and patience. I've been using it for a month and its only just started to clear up a few days ago. I noticed it was clearing up the small spots almost straight away. However, it seemed as though I had traded acne for very tight, red dry skin. But with frequent use my skin got used to it and now its only a tiny bit dry but nothing a bit of moisture could fix. I've tried loads of different products before including Proactive, dermalogica and various doctor prescribed antibiotic topical treatments. This seems to be the only thing that's working. Cheaper is better for me. A quick tip though.. I've found that oily or super moisturizing moisturisers are tempting but give you spots in the dries bits. I use oil free blemish moisturiser by clean &clear and its really working.

Pros:

Dries out spots, reduces size of pores, makes skin less oily. Clears up acne :)

Cons:

Stings after first few days of application, but this dies down after about 30 seconds. After about a week, you should be able to apply the cream without any stinging at all. Dries out skin, but a good moisturizer can combat this.

This is a miracle cream! After trying PanOxyl 2.5 aquagel which burned my face, this stuff is genius :) Today is the sixth day I've used this product (2 applications a day), and my skin is the clearest it's been since I was about 13. My forehead (which had the least acne) is completely clear now, it looks amazing, and the rest of my face is slowly catching up. When washing my face in the morning, I've started exfoliating with a gentle scrub because skin can get a bit flakey during the first few days, and this makes it hard to apply make up. But the exfoliator buffs away any dry bits of skin. However, this might not be suited to everyone so be careful. But seriously try this product, I paid £3.50 for mine, and it's the best £3.50 I've ever spent :) Also, I recommend the 5% for first time users. Good luck !

Pros:

Worked after only a couple of days!

Cons:

Currently on day 4 and it does dry skin a little but once I realised this after day 2 I just cut down on using it in the morning. It is really not a problem at all as I am just not overdoing it with the cream.

I broke out in spots on my chin very badly due to coming off the pill. Months later (even going back on the pill) my skin had still not cleared up. I have been trying to avoid going on Dianette (the contraceptive). I found out about this cream and got the 5%. Within a couple of days my skin is almost 100% smooth to touch, no new spots have arrived yesterday or today, and the old ones are clearing fast. It is so cheap, works quick, and you get it over the counter from Boots. Excellent. Although, it will be interesting to see whether it totally clears the skin or whether I have to rely on continued use.

Cons:

drys your skin, and can make it go red when you first use it.

its really affordable! and it really dose work if you have tryed everything like me. but you need to use a good mostiriouser or face cream, as it may dry out your skin. but other than that i feel more confident as it dose dry your spots out!

Pros:

Clears up them annoying spots that linger for days

Cons:

does sting a bit and drys out skin

I didnt know about this cream until I saw it in my boyfriends mums bathroom... I thought Id give it a try and I must say it is brillant my forehead is completely clear! Its really refreshing to pick up a cream for a couple of pound and does exactly what it says on the tube! Its fab stuff!!! I have been taking dianette and I think I may come of it and stick with quinoderm... its probably better to do..but I will keep using quinoderm as it is good. BUT dont over use it or you'll just end up with very sore skin... stick to a rountine that will help your skin! good luck
