Pros:

Works
Can be bought otc in the UK

Cons:

Because its a cream it can appear sometimes when you sweat.

I started using this around 6 months ago as a stop gap after running out of Dan's gel and have stuck with it since. Its been a lucky find. It seems to do the job and I think my face is more suited to a cream as I can remember having good results with the Neutrogena ots cream way back. Its great knowing you can pop down to boots when you run out.

Pros:

cheap
it works

Cons:

quite drying

I was spot free until I came off the pill and my skin flared up really badly - really large painful spots all clustered together on my cheeks. I had been using Freederm previous to this, which was fine for the small occasional spot that I got when I was on the pill, but had no effect on this new cystic acne. I got some 10% Quinoderm and used it twice a day - a thin layer in the monrning underneath my makeup and a thin layer at night before bed. Within a week most of my spots had completely gone, I only had 3 very small ones on one cheek left. The only reason I stopped using it was because my skin began to feel very tight and dry, it wasn't flaking but just felt uncomfortable. However, by that point my skin was like 95% better anyway so I stopped using it,and began to mositurise and now it's fine. My face is fine now but I have just begun to get spots on my neck and back so will be using it on those areas. I'd definitely recommend it but use it sparingly and moisturise as well.

Pros:

very very effective
cheap
widely available

Cons:

sometimes does sting a little

about 4 days ago i got this horrible cluster of spots they were big, red, painful and very ugly. i had previously used quinoderm but stopped when all my spots had gone, i decided to use it again and it had worked wonders, usually the kind of spots take 8-10 days to clear but with quindoderm it to 4 DAYS! i do not regret in anyway buying this, people say it dries out your skin but i always moisturise so i never notice any dry skin, i did notice that on big red spots when you put the quinderm on them they do inflame and get irritated but thats expected for acne spots. Overall this is the best skin product i've ever used and its great for everyone, if you have sensitive skin its best that you use the 5% one, quinoderm is the BEST

Pros:

cheap, can by at the chemist or online, easy to use, works really well

Cons:

can dry the skin, can sting a little at first, bleaches towels

this stuff is a savior, it works, plain and simple, wash with clinique anti blemish soap or your favourite cleanser, dry thoroughly, apply quinoderm cream to the face avoiding the eye area, use aloe vera 99.9% gel to dry areas if you get any flaky patches of skin, repeat twice and day and you should see results! start with 10% and if too drying step down to the 5% but keep the 10% handy if yo ufeel a spot coming on apply this on the area overnight

Pros:

Cleared my skin up. LOVE IT.

Really good value for money. I got three tubes for about £10 and it lasts for ages.

Cons:

It does dry your skin out a bit and this can someime make it a bit red but this lessens after the first few weeks. Just make sure you moisturize well.

Bleaches fabrics

It does take time but then so does everything when it comes to acne. You just have to stick with it. I've been using it morning and evening for nearly a year now and my skin has improved massively. I would say this time last year I had moderate acne and now I only get the occassional spot now and then. I can't live without it.

Pros:

Very effective, inexpensive, readily available.

Cons:

This cream really dries out your skin, it stings a little when you put it on (not really a con in my opinion, but just so you know).

I initially only bought this 10% Quinoderm Cream while waiting for my acne.org regimen to arrive. I do not have very severe acne compared to some other people and the photos I've seen on this site, but I do suffer from an ongoing attack of lots of red, angry, pussy spots, especially around my mouth and cheeks. This cream has really worked in clearing up my problem areas. Everyone says it dries out your skin, and it does, it really dried out mine, so just make sure you moisturise, because I didn't. My acne.org order arrived this morning, I ordered the regimen, the AHA+ and the Jojoba oil. I've been very impressed by the Quinoderm cream, it really cleared up my spots. I'll let you know how I get on with Dan's PB. I really recommend it.

Pros:

Helped control acne and oil initially. Used at bedtime after washing face with Oxy Wash. Needed a good anti-sebum moisturiser during the day. Worked a miracle with Erythromycin

Cons:

After prolonged use, effect wears off unless other treatments are added

Helped me banish my acne!

Pros:

Skin is 99.9% acne free! Surprisingly gentle on my skin at 10%. I only use it once a day after showering and touch up dryness with Vaseline Essential Moisture. About 4 Pounds Sterling in UK for 50g.

Cons:

None for me!

The best, I use 10%. The other ingredients Lactic acid, helps flakes and the petrolatum moisturizes the skin. The other antibacterial ingredient helps calm redness and gives the benzoyl peroxide an added kick.
