Pros:

price was reasonable

Cons:

did not work for my skin. it burned and caused my skin to itch as well as dryness and broke me out horribly.

I had high hopes for this product being that it said on the box it is better than proactiv and that you would see results in 3 days not so true and not worth buying.

Pros:

Its affordable

Cons:

It may make your skin feel oily after using the toner depending on your skin type, Causes a burning sensation during the first few washes.

I do not have bad acne but i get breakouts every so often and to me this product seems like it is only making the break outs occur more often than usual. It was only 20 dollars so its not like i paid to much for nothing..

Pros:

My more severe acne was lessened within the first week or so.

Cons:

It caused my face to become red and puffy, with dryness all over. I immediately stopped using it, and now my skin's back to the acne-infected, yet normally colored skin tone.

I used the Severe Acne Treatment. I would not recommend it for those with even slightly sensitive skin.

Pros:

made my skin all the same color rather than blochy

Cons:

after first day my face looked like i'd been sitting in the sun for 2days! i can't open my eyes all the way, and it hurts to smile(skin is swollen all over)around my mouth and on my forehead i have these tiny whiteheads(never had one b4)

please do not purchase this product! You will regret it. i have seen reviews on other sites that say that the sunburn feeling is o.k.!!?? my face is so red and swollen i cannot leave my house, and also can not put on makeup

Pros:

The Purifying cleanser feels very smooth.
It was easy to find the product locally.
Cheep compared to other 3 step systems.

Cons:

The Renewing toner uncomfortably dried out my skin.
I kept mixing up the Purifying cleanser and Renewing toner bottles because they looked the same.
As gross as this is the Repairing Lotion smells a bit like dog poo.

I'd been controlling my acne for over a year using Proactive but it's very expensive so I thought I'd give this stuff a try. The product didn't work at all to fight acne. You should save your money and try something else.

Pros:

- Kind of worked
- Nicely designed system

Cons:

- A bit pricey (better priced than Proactiv though)
- Chemicals

I used this back a couple years ago. It's somewhat similar to Proactiv and Dan's Regimen (the main ingredient is Benzoyl Peroxide). It kind of helped, yet it didn't satisfy me. The bottles were nicely shaped and designed, and I remember the stuff smelling good. You have to realize though that this is merely a bandage solution to acne. Once you stop slathering chemicals on your face, the acne comes back. Acne is an internal problem. I've been using lemon treatment and it's been clearing me up

Pros:

- Softens skin
- Easy to use

Cons:

- No long-term benefits
- Didn't control oil on skin
- Pricy, depending on where you buy it

After Proactive failed to give me results, I thought I'd try AcneFree. It claimed it was around 60% more effective than Proactive. When I first started to use it, I enjoyed how soft it made my skin and how fresh my face felt. A week into it, I still saw no improvement in my *acne,* just my skin texture. Still, I was optimistic and soldiered on. A month later, not only was my acne unimproved, but the softness and freshness I initially experienced was long gone, just like my hope for this product. My skin is very oily and acne-prone, and AcneFree couldn't handle the oil and improve my acne. Just like Proactive, it started out promising only to taper off and lose all effectiveness. That is my little experience. I truly hope this works for others, and I know people with milder acne and dryer skin that benefited from it. But keep this in mind: if your acne is stubborn, resistant, and you struggle with oily skin, pass on AcneFree. The claims on the packaging may tempt you, but it doesn't pull through in the end. I've tried a lot of 3-step kits like this one, and unfortunately, you end up paying for more products that don't work. You'll find cheaper products that stand alone because they do work. I kept searching and it paid off. I'm currently using PanOxyl, which is half the price by the way. Hope I saved some one out there time and money.

Pros:

Didn't use it long enough to see how it works. But because of my skin's first reaction, I see no pros.

Cons:

I bought the AcneFree sensitive. Immediately after my first use of the cleanser, my skin felt like it was hot and burning. My skin was a bit red as well. I did not feel the need to continue the product based on such a fast adverse reaction.

I would not recommend this product, especially to those who have sensitive/dry skin like myself. I thought the sensitive formula would be gentler, but it was not. I have used other products containing salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide before, and never had a bad reaction to those. Maybe some dryness, but I have never experienced burning skin like this. I know some say to keep using it and it'll get better, but I'm not risking a worse allergic reaction with continued use. I am taking it back to Walmart next chance I get.

Pros:

It works for about a couple weeks.

Cons:

It stops working and the toner burns.

This isn't worth it. The toner burned my skin and only worked on my face for a week or so. If you are in your teen years and looking for a good acne product, don't use this. It doesn't help.
