Pros:

NONE

Cons:

hate it! Don't buy!

I used this product to see if I could get rid of my monthly breakouts. I out it on for the first time and about 2-4 hours later my face started burning and itching and red faced. It is the 3rd day and I am still red in the face. DO NOT BUY!

Pros:

Can't think of any right now except its cheap.

Cons:

I have never seen my face look worse. Redness relief? Fights acne? I have never had this much redness or acne.

DONT BUY IT!! I bought this product last friday. After the first day I had developed 2 cystic pimples on my cheek. I stopped using the repairing lotion because I thought maybe it had been the benzoyl peroxide. As I continued use my face developed huge red splotches everywhere. Dry is not even the WORD for the skin that is falling off my face. The burning is unbelievable and I look as if i have been chemically burned all over. I haven't used this product in 2 and a half days and I continually get worse and worse everyday. Tomorrow I will certainly go see a DR to see what can be done. I also used a oil free lotion after I used the acnefree because I knew it could be drying. This is not drying of the skin. Its something far worse. This product is DEF not REDNESS RELIEF!! Buyer Beware.

Pros:

Acne free used to be a great product but the company kept messing around with the ingredients. The old, 2.5% benzoyl peroxide formula was perfect! Then they changed to 2.25% BP. Made me breakout. The new formula has tea tree oil. WATCH OUT!

Cons:

Want the old formula back, 2.5% benzoyl peroxide.

This used to be a great product. The 2.5% benzoyl peroxide was great. Then Ã…cneFree changed the formulation. They changed to 2.25%. And get this, it was 2.25% on the bottle but not the box. I brokeout. Called the company and indeed, they were trying a new formula. I ordered 7 bottles of the old formula and have been good for a while though now it's running out. So I'm out looking for the old formula again. Now this new formula has a bunch of new ingredients including tea tree oil. If you're sensitive like me, WATCH OUT!! I broke out very badly from this. Highly allergenic ingredient. AcneFree needs to go back to the original formula. They should know that anyone with acne problems probably also has sensitivity issues. Where's the research guys? PLEASE GO BACK TO THE 2.5% BENZOYL PEROXIDE FORMULA FROM A YEAR AGO!!

Pros:

* Worked
* Lasted fairly long
* Moisturizer didn't make my face greasy

Cons:

* Stopped working
* Started to burn when I used the cleanser
* Dryness
* Extreme Redness

I got this with high hopes to finally get rid of my light but yet still bothersome acne. I have sensitive skin and i have a fair complexion. I have bipolar skin, Its usually oily, but with certain products it gets extremely dry, so in the end id say i have oily skin. When I first got it, I was blown away. Within 2-3 days it was noticeably better which is a result i haven't gotten before, and I've tried a lot of products. So I continue to use it over the course of 2 and a half months I'd say, and I noticed my face had been getting more red more easily, very red. I had gone to Walgreens and picked up Eucerin redness relief cleanser to help tame it, and at this point my skin is very clear. I use Eucerin for 2 days or so, and my redness is down, but then i got a breakout (Which i don't believe is from Eucerin, more from 'that time of the month') so I go back to using the acne free cleanser. My face turned so red and got so irritated and it burned and stung SO bad. I was sure i had an allergic reaction or something like that. It was horrible. The redness had subsided by morning but I for sure didn't use it again. At this time i'm looking for a new regimen to replace this one, a more gentler one. This is probably a great product for not-so-sensitive skin people. Either way I'd say give it a shot, My skin just wasn't too fond of it.
