Pros:

Very happy with results. Acne clears up faster. Helps uneven skin tone. Works very quickly!

Cons:

May leave skin a bit dry.

I have been using acnefree sensitive skin, and it was clearing, but not as fast or effective as I would've liked it to. So, I tried the regular acnefree, and I am very happy with the results! The only thing that is a little disappointed about is that it makes my face feel a bit dry. Other than that, I am very happy with the product and I would recommend this to anyone.

Pros:

Inexpensive
Really Works
Smells better than Proactiv and not as drying

Cons:

Can't really think of any

If you have to use an acne facial system then this really does the trick. It is inexpensive and apart from the odd spot I enjoy a blemish free face on a daily basis. I don't find it to be over-drying either.

Pros:

-Reduces size and redness of pre-existing pimples and scars
-The toner improves complexion

Cons:

-breakouts
-breakouts
-more breakouts

-feels greasy
-overpriced
-night cream and lotion do nothing

Started off well for the first week, but wound up making me violently breakout. Could be different for anyone else, so if you can spare the 30 bucks then it could be worth a try.

Pros:

-works in a couple of day
- smooth skin
- shiny/healthy skin
- cheap

Cons:

- stops working after one week
- burns your face after one week
- face looks sun burned
- face gets really dry

I like it at first, but it stopped working. It burned my face.... I was disapointed. Don't use this product, if you have sensitive skin. If you want good results don't use this product. I recommand using sea salt. It cured my acne and made my scars less noticible from 50%. Use natural products, instead of damaging alcool products.

Pros:

None.

Cons:

Burns.

I bought this product at a local drug store. It looked like it worked good so, I bought it. Big mistake. I bought the three step, just like Proactiv has. I used the wash once and by the next morning I saw that my face started to get dry and flakey so I started to use just the MOSITURIZER. You would expect that to soften my skin but it didn't. With in the next few days my skin BURNED. It looked as if I had just done a at home chemical peel. It was tramatic experience and it took months for it to get better. And even after that my skin hasn't fully recovered, it has become so sensitive due to Acnefree that I had to deal with this burning issue twice because of other acne medications that my doctors have perscribed. Oh, and I still have scars, they have yet to fade. This happened over six months ago. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. My rating for this product is a ZERO.

Pros:

Easy to apply

Cons:

Did not help acne
Irritated skin
burned

I couldn't afford proactiv anymore and I was basically forced to switch to acnefree. I thought that acnefree was just the cheap version of proactiv and would work the same way, it did work for a couple months but after a while, my pimples came back and it became pretty bad especially around the forehead area. So I'm very angry with this produc

Pros:

- cleared forehead acne
-made skin soft and smooth
-cheap and close replacement for proactive

Cons:

-did not help me with scarring
-very chemical smell

Regular Strength- Product is very easy to use and work right away. It started to clear my cystic acne but left scars. My skin is smooth but I still have a very large red area of scarring around my cheeks. I thought that using the regular strenght would be better but it simply wasn't strong enough. Severe Strength- Very different and much more concitrated. It says that it helps with scarring but it went on greasy and and had little to no effect.

Pros:

cheaper than Pro Activ

doesn't bleach out faceclothes like Pro Activ

Cons:

Can't find it in Canada

slow results

I was a die-hard Pro Activ user for years then it stopped working. I never had acne as a teen, my acne started when I approached 30! Here I am creeping up on 40 and dealing with acne - ug! Bought this while visiting the U.S. once and noticed an improvement, but had to stop using it because I can't find it here. Going to the U.S. next week and hope to stock up. My son who is 11 is struggling with pretty severe acne already, tried Cetaphyl but no luck. I think I might get him to try this product. Anyone know if it is ok for kids his age?
