Pros:

Made my face less oily.

Cons:

Did nothing, made me breakout more.

I have cystic acne, and it seems nothing will help prevent these large bumps...

Pros:

Clears up acne well, and quickly. Used consistently, I experienced a significant reduction in my overall acne. It even tackled my extreme cysts and horrible breakouts!

Cons:

It does not do well to prevent future breakouts. I end up breaking out even when using the system, and then the new zits clear up quickly. It makes your skin VERY dry, especially with the alcohol in Step 2.

While I have been using the AcneFree system, I still have a small amount of acne, but overall it does its job well. It does not take care of everything, and while i still have residual acne and breakouts on occasion, this system works satisfactorily for me. It does make your skin VERY, very dry, with the alcohol-based scrub twice daily, but using a moisturizer helps a lot with that. I would recommend this as a good starting place for anyone stepping up to a "system" type treatment over just using benzyl peroxide by itself, but there are better treatments out there if you want to pay more or spend more time taking care of your acne. Its very easy to buy and use, at $20 for a box and informative instructions.

Pros:

Overall reduction of large pimples. Definitely prevents new areas of acne from developing. Leaves my skin feeling and looking clean.

Cons:

Does not work within two weeks like the box says. Still have acne after two and a half months. Some days, I'll wake up and my acne will be almost gone. The next day, it's back! The bottles crack.

Has reduced the severity of my acne, but has not cleared my skin or reduced the size of my pores. I probably would not buy it again, but I'm still going to keep using it until it runs out because I think it may work!

Pros:

was cheap, easy to use, doesnt smell! works great on normal and oily skin! not dry or sensitive (which i have!) made my skin tone look more even.

Cons:

repairing lotion is kinda watery..made my skin super dry and peel like crazy!! kinda broke out more around my jaw and chin.

not for sensitive skin! if you dont have sensitive skin give this a try..and give it time too. ive been using this for over 2 weeks now and its help my overall skin tone, but it makes me break out a little more. i did what most ppl said to wait it out and after the drying was over and done with, my skin would be used to BP. but it kept drying up and irritated my sensitive skin more..but if your thinking of trying this product! give it a shot..you'll never know unless you try! youve got nothing to use expect a lil bit of money and pimples hopefully! best of luck to everyone who is going to try this product! i dont regret getting it..it helped me see that BP is not for sensitive skin. i recommend to everyone with normal and oily skin! not sensitive skin!

Cons:

good if you dont have too much acne and are looking for quick results

Pros:

everyone says it works very well, as well as proactive

Cons:

i dont feel any of the burning that some people are experiencing

i just got this product tonight, hopefully it works :D

Pros:

Cleans up acne a little

Cons:

does not prevent breakouts, make skin dry and itchy

i don't know if proactive works better, but acne free is for people who aren't patient enough to wait it out. IT doesn't block breakouts, and it makes my skin flake, which doesn't look right. Overall, i only recommend it if you are deperate.

Pros:

price, skin becoming more one color, helping clear acne on cheeks

Cons:

acne is getting a little worse around my chin area, more whiteheads there

As of right now, I am hopeful that it will start to really work. I know the whole thing about how it's going to get a little worse before it gets better, so I hope I am in that stage and I'm on the way to CLEAR skin for the first time since I was 11.

Pros:

None.

Cons:

Didn't do anything but dry out my face.

I'm in my mid-20s and began breaking out for some reason and i had a lot of red spots and blackheads on my chin and nose. I was also getting oily during the day. I bought Acne Free thinking this would solve everything and while I followed the directions, it did nothing besides dry my face out for the 2-3 weeks I used it. After being fed up with NO results, i knew i needed to try something else so i did an online e-valuation on [link removed] and got their Rapid Clear face wash and wipes and everything cleared up within 2-3 days. I love the stuff! I also changed to Neutrogena make-up and my blackheads have slowly been diminishing. Bottom Line... Use neutrogena, the purpose of salicylic acid is to replenish your skin quickly while the benzoyl peroxide in Acne Free just dries things out, doesn't repair anything and bleaches your clothing/towels.

Pros:

I immediately noticed results.

Cons:

Doesn't seem to work after a while of using it. Also, the toner is used much faster than the other products in the kit.

I tried it almost a year ago and got immediate results. My skin was clearer than it had been in a really long time. However, after about two weeks, the pimples came back the same amount as before. I kept using it in the hopes that I would get the same results I got when I first started using it, but kept changing little things about my acne routine (maybe I was eating oily foods or drying my face wrong, etc...). Nothing worked. My acne is just as severe and as frequent as before. I've finally given up on it and am looking for another product that will hopefully work better for my skin. This isn't to say it won't work on everyone though.
